What are the parents you're using to breed? Take a look at the breeding guide if you didn't. Also, sorry, but the stats you provided are quite incomprehensible.

Does anyone know if Nintendo detects Legendaries obtained through hacked items or something like the rebattle code?

I'm quite sure they can't determine the legitimacy of the pokemon itself if you just hacked the item or the event. Though I believe they can detect if you used some sort of external device on your cartridge.

And also, is the best place to find Ditto in Platinum in the Garden? I find myself fighting for a half an hour only to get one.

And, I was testing out IVs and used 18 rare candies on something, then accidentally saved... so I am down to 0, would there be a place I could get 4 just to quick-check some IVs?

Also: Anyone want to help me check a couple IVs?

I wouldn't be good for checking IVs but I can tell you that if you have extra BP in the battle frontier that you can get Rare Candies there.

You can buy rare candy for 56ish battle points at the tower.

How do I obtain the "perfect" ditto spread (for the DPPT RNG abuse) from emerald? I read the thread and it was all about legendaries.

It's actually 48 battle points I'm pretty sure.

Also, I found this out recently. Another way of getting rare candies... somewhat easily: Go fight the maids' "exact # of turns" challenge (inside pokemon mansion, left hallway). After completing the challenge, you get to fight either Master Liam or Lady Celeste, and both has a Blissey that is holding a rare candy. Get a pokemon to thief/covet/trick the rare candy to you. Just save before taking on the challenge, since it might take a few tries (since all the Clefairies have endure, and at least some have encore and bounce, which will make it hard to get it exact. I use an azelf with imprison and endure.).

I just do it once every day, but if you want, you can obviously set the clock to 11:59pm after fighting once and then do it again and repeat to get quite a few rare candies every day like that.

There is a patch of grass outside Canalave city where you can use the pokeradar to find them.

I've noticed on Shoddy, when confused and sleep talking, there is no chance to hurt yourself in confusion. Bulbapedia says this is wrong on their status ailment page. Yet, on the Shoddy bug reporting page, someone reported in 2007 that hurting yourself in confusion while using sleep talk can't happen in game.

Which is correct?

Relevant links in case changes need to be made:

http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1772701&group_id=186888&atid=919095

Edit: Once more, there's a conflict between Shoddy battle and Bulbapedia. Whirlwind, according to Bulbapedia, is not random in how it switches the Pokemon around; rather, it simply switches to the next Pokemon in the party. Yet, according to my testing on Shoddy, it is random. Which is correct?

Bulbapedia link:
http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Whirlwind

Shoddy would not have updated to change this unless it was tested, so it's safe to assume Shoddy is correct. Whirlwind should select randomly as well. When in doubt and there's conflict between sites, it's better to believe Smogon's pages.

Does the patch of grass outside Canalave work in Pokemon Platinum? I thought it was only in Pearl and Diamond.

And, another question: Are Dittos IVs naturally ridiculously high? I have caught about 10 of them, and at least 7 of them at at least one IV of 31, some have two. Unfortunately, can`t find me a Modest one to save my life!

The bold one I got is:

20/3/29/31/31/23

Luckily the only crappy stat is Attack, which bold lowers anyway...

Also, just to double check. The best way to go about breeding a Modest Togepi with Nasty Plot would be to breed a male Murkrow (Preferably with high IVs) with either a Modest Female Togetic/Togekiss with an Everstone and preferably high IVs. Or a Modest Ditto with high IVs.

If my Murkrow has bad IVs is it going to hinder my babies too much?

Only Honchkrow learns Nasty Plot at level 35.

No, then you'd get baby Murkrow. Or if you breed the Toges with the Ditto, you don't get Nasty Plot.

I know, I did a Nasty Plot Togekiss last weekend. XD

Ahh, so confusing!

So the only way to do it is to breed a Honchkrow with a Modest Togetic/Togekiss?

So, I need to breed a good male Murkrow first, and then breed a good female Togepi, and then make it into a Togetic and then finally put them together to make a Nasty Plotted Togepi.

Ahhh mah brain!

At least I can do Murkrow + a high IV Ditto to have a better chance at a better Murkcrow... =p

Should I even use MixMamo? Even 252HP/252Def/6SpD Impish Hippowdon gets hit only slightly less hard by CB Ice Fang rather than LO Blizzard. Why waste EVs and cut SpD?

The mixed attacker Abomasnow has these EVs on the analysis: 252 HP, 84 Special Attack, 96 Special Defense, and 76 Speed. If I were to put the Speed EVs into one other stat instead, what should it be? A slow Abamasnow means its weather will be dominant anyway.

@Vinceisg0d: After you get a male nasty plot togepi from breeding murkrow/honchkrow with female togetic, you can just use that male togetic (after you evolve it from togepi) to breed with your Dittos and the offspring will still be togepis with nasty plot. You'll probably have an easier time IV breeding this way compared having to stick with a murkrow/honchkrow the entire breeding process.

This may be a stupid question, but I was wondering how I can put a Pokémon Sprite into my post...

There is no such thing as a stupid question.

In the advanced posting section you can click on the little yellow box with the mountains then insert the link of a picture when it asks you to.

Or

if that doesn't make sense then you can use the

I still want this question answered, and keep in mind that I have Wifi in mind when you make suggestions. I want to ask another question too, out of curiosity. What is considered "Overused" for the Uber metagame? Uber players generally use a smaller selection of Pokemon, so the rough top 50 won't work.

Thank you very much guys!

This is actually a slight variation of a set in the analysis (Hippo and Gliscor aren;t a threat for kme, so Ice Punch>HP Ice), what Ev spread (and nature!) would be best for this?

I don't see the point of dark pulse on a physical set, just run crunch. And go with an adamant nature with max speed and attack.

Analysis says CC/SE/Dark Pulse/HP Ice, just go with that? HP Ice isn't an actualy Ice-type move, but Luke doesn't get Ice Beam, sadly :< ...

Note: I'm cosntracting an offensive Hail team, and LO+Hail is a little too much, even with Vaporeon (swtching makes me lose SD boosts)...

Using hidden power ice is the main, if not the only, reason to run a mixed Lucario, it checks both the dragons (though even ice punch does) and Gliscor\Hippowdon, which are among Lucario's best counters and are weaker on the special side of the defensive spectrum. So, if you're not going to use hp ice, there's no real reason to run dark pulse, because crunch will do more or less the same damage to ghosts and psychics and you won't need to run a -def or sp.def nature. That's all.
