Not really. The child won't be international, so it will negate the "Masuda Method". Also, the odds are 4x better, but it's still in the 2000's, so it will still be a very long process.Question on The Masuda Method (breeding shinies).

It'd work. Now if I breed:
My Corsola + Child of the Japanese Feebas (female)

If one does a local wireless battle in Platinum with a special Rotom form against a Diamond version, does Rotom revert to its standard form, or does it retain stats/moves but show a regular sprite, or does something else occur?

Is it possible to get desired natures via the Masuda Method? Obviously, cross-region breeding might be a problem.
Outside of using RNGreporter to predict the nature and advancing the IRNG, you leave it up to luck.

I need the best trick room core for my team, which I'm getting near to the completion point with. These should be the three best choices for users to keep Trick Room up as much as possible. So basically, what three users of Trick Room fit together to make the best Defensive core. As of now I have
Bronzong
Porygon 2
Slowbro
I don't know if it's possible, and should be concidered secondary to the defensive choices, but having good attack coverage between the three would be very nice.

If TR is in play and 2 pokes use priority moves which will go first? The faster like normal, or the slower because TR is in play or something.
The other day TR was in play, my Dugtrio used Sucker Punch and was beaten to the hit by Shadow Sneak from a MUCH slower pokemon. I might be mistaken, but I'm preeeety sure I selected that slower pokemon as my target, so I'm confused as to why He went first..

As soon as TR goes into play, the faster pokemon instantly becomes the slower pokemon. Thus, your dugtrio was outsped because it was then the slower pokemon, thanks to the effects of the amazingness that is Trick Room.

Well. Just to clarify, when the smogon guide says: "This does not affect priority—higher priority moves will still be used before lower priority ones." It's JUST talking about the fact that quick attack will still be used first before Hyperbeam or whatever, not that the user of quick attack ignores TR.
So i played in Nashville the other day, at the double battle thing, and i thought me and the guy i went down with were the only people that played competitively in the state of Kentucky. However i heard them interview some other guy from KY and i saw a couple guys that were wearing Louisville hats, and one of them made it to the top 16, so my questions is
Is there anyway on Smoogon to get into contact with others that live near your area? We have a group of guys that play and we have our own tournaments with prizes and such, and it would be cool to get some others involved.

You could start a thread. That sounds like a GRRRRRREAT idea!
With Hippowdon and any other Pokemon in the Ground Egg Group, it's easy. Have a male Smeargle learn the moves and breed it with a female species of the Hippowdon family.
Did he get it directly from Wifi? It's not an infinite chain of handing out 5, only those that got it directly can distribute it.
@mattj: The pokemon with the higher speed stat will move first in that situation, regardless of trick room. In Trick Room slower pokemon don't magically become faster, it just reverses the order of attacks. Because Priority ignores Trick Room, the faster pre-TR will go first.

Woah, woah woah... wait a minute? So Priority DOES ignore TR? So, do you think I accidentally selected the wrong poke to attack with Sucker Punch, because I could have...
This is kind of important, because I'm thinking of breeding 2 Technicians to back me up incase TR gets put in play and I need to know if I can Choice Band and Orb them to give them even more teeth, or if I have to waste my item slot on slowing them down with Macho Braces and whatever. I hope you can clarify this for sure!

On the topic of the Secret Key, I'm sure I read that only the Japanese one can be shared. I know the European one can't, since Australia got it too and I didn't see any option to share mine.
