Most SubSeed Jumpluff split their defensive EVs between Def and SDef. Is it viable to move them all to SDef? Its Def EVs don't help with that sucky base Def. Its base SDef is above average, so that might be a better choice. Then it will look like this.

Jumpluff@Leftovers
Timid, 252 Spe, 252 SDef, 6 Def
- Substitute
- Leech Seed
- Encore
- Sleep Powder

Yeah Haunter I've tried downloading from the official site but when i get to the installation screen it says that it can't copy the file and when the installation finishes it looks like nothing happened.

Could somebody please help me? (Not trying to sound rude or arrogant)

QUESTION;
What I do when I EV-train is, I use the Counter App on the Poketch, and say I'm EV training for speed; I KO a Magikarp while holding Power Anklet, and I tally up 5 EVs for each Magikarp (4+1), until I get 252 Speed (which is my goal).
Does this mean that I need to KO 50 Magikarps (while holding Power Anklet) to get the max speed stat, 252?

252/5 = 50?

50 * 5 = 250

You'll be two points short. It would be best to defeat those 50 with the Power Anklet, then fight two more Magikarp WITHOUT the Power Anklet for the final two points.

Just use any as long as they weren't hatched from an egg or whatever.

So my question (pretty dumb one tbh). If I'm EVing my Regirock on Mr. Mimes, how many points does each one actually give?

Mr Mimes give 2 sp def EVs each and I have a power band and pokérus.
So is it 12 or 8? I'm not sure if the power band bonus doubles up when a pokémon gives 2 EVs.

It is 12. Power Band gives 4 more, so it's (2+4)x2.
Anyway about the answer you gave me, I have tested one of them but the RNG didn't work. Will I always get teh same sid?

If your playing in dp and you try to use hypnosis on some one playing plat what is hypnosis's accuracy?

If your playing in dp and you try to use hypnosis on some one playing plat what is hypnosis's accuracy?

It depends on who hosts the game. If Platinum hosts it, it's 60%, and if D/P hosts it, it's 70%.

Edit: Caelum, I think that this question(and answer) should be added to the FAQs on the first page, it's quite common.

caelum edit: Done Erazor, thanks for the suggestion!

Are you sure Timid should be used on ScarfGlaceon?

Timid + 216 EVs allows Glaceon to outspeed Positive base 115's, which is beneficial. If you don't care about that for whatever reason, feel free to use Modest instead. Modest with 244 Speed outruns Mismagius and Scyther. Though Modest Scarf can never outrun positive natured Espeon or Ambipom.

What do you mean by signing in as an administrator? Do you mean become a member of the site?

No, I mean on your computer. Computers have administrator accounts and regular user accounts. If you're on a regular user account, it might be set up to prevent anything from being installed (a lot of schools and businesses do this). You'll usually get a message saying "You must be logged on as an administrator to install this file" or something similar if this is the case, but it couldn't hurt to check even if it doesn't appear.

I'm currently trying to obtain the national dex in Pokemon Platinum; I have 202 out of 210.

I need help finding several pokemon but I don't know where to look because they're not in my dex. So if you could tell me the names of the following pokemon:

Pokemon #102 (it comes after Clefable and before Pichu)
Pokemon #114 (it comes after Snorlax and before Riolu)
Pokemon #151 (it comes after Palkia and before Rotom)
Pokemon #203 (it comes after Magmortar and before Piloswine)

Thanks!

Yeah that showed up when i tried to install Shoddy battle too. Does this mean that I won't be able to use either of them?

Bold Celebi with HP Fire - How many SpAtk EVs are needed to OHKO Scizor? With and without Stealth Rock damage would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance :D

Unless you can find a way to have someone log on as administrator - or do so yourself - you're out of luck, unfortunately. If you're on a parent's or friend's computer, you can probably just ask them to log on for you, but that won't work if you're at school or at work.

I'm not quite sure what standard Scizor EV spreads are, but assuming it runs 252/0 with a neutral nature, 252 Bold Celebi with Lefties only has a 33.3% chance of a OHKO without SR, a 66.7% chance with SR. If Scizor is running 0/0, you only need 152 EVs to guarantee a OHKO without SR.
