I'm totally not making this up.

Is there anyway to bring back up a screen of a battle I just closed in Shoddy? I just beat panamaxis and got so excited that I forgot to save the log before closing the window.

There's no way for you to get the log back. An administrator might be able to retrieve the log, but I don't know if it's easy for them to do if they can do it at all.
 
Well, everyone's allowed to have obvious questions at the beginning, so here goes: what are the benefits of using Poison Heal? I see the Toxic Orb combo, but isn't it just a net-zero between the loss of health from poison and gain from Poison Heal?

The poison doesn't hurt you, only heals. Also, since you're poisoned you can't get any other status like burned or frozen.

Hmm, interesting, so Poison Heal stops any damage from poison occurring? Pretty cool... wonder why it didn't mention that on sites like Bulbapedia or Serebii. Okay, well, thanks!
 
Sorry if this post belongs in another thread, but -

How many Defense EVs does a Timid Starmie, with Life Orb after SR damage, need to survive an EQ from a +1 DD Gyarados/Salamence? My Starmie is 6 hp/252 sp atk/252 spd, so what should i get rid of for the Def. EVs?

That's a tricky one to be honest. You'll need 200 Def EVs to survive a +1 Salamence EQ with those factors (and by default you'll survive Gyarados'). That's some heavy investment.

Here's the catch: that doesn't assume Life Orb.

With Life Orb, you'll need 252 Def and 164 HP EVs to survive the attack from Gyarados (more than you'll want to invest I'm sure). You'll need 252 Def and 232 HP to survive it from Salamence.

Thanks, im just worried about surviving the EQ and revenge kill, since those 2, after a DD, are one of the only things my team has trouble with.
What would you recommend for removing evs from sp atk/spd? I'm bringing speed down to 216 and that leaves another 158 needed. Not sure whether to go a) slower but more powerful or b) faster but weaker.

Just posting to say that there's no reason to get excited about beating any certain player. Everybody beats everybody eventually, there's no reason to trophy any certain time.

Special Attack. Starmie's selling out is her speed. You can take 36 points from speed to still beat positive 110s to help cover some of that cost.
 
if a Shuckle uses Power Trick, it starts waving around an attack stat of ~500, right?

If so, it is just Atk, or do SpA and SpD get swapped as well?
 
under trick room it is a monster, or if your opponent has no physical attackers left. I mean none, even a knock off from something like tentacruel is going to kill it.

No. Genderless/Female only Pokemon are incapable of producing egg moves (I think Nidoran-F is the exception).

EDIT: I meant that she can still obtain level-up/TMs in eggs, but you're correct that they aren't actually 'egg moves.'

Nidoran-F can't pass egg moves. When it's the mother, its babies can be either Nidoran, so if the father has a Nidoran-M egg move, the male babies will get it.

Well, a Jolly Max Speed Shuckle with 6 speed boosts would have 476 speed, but that means you only have another 252 EVs to boost up the rest of his terrible stats.

In the time it takes you to set up Shuckle, you can probably get a better result from setting up something else.
 
Asked a couple of times in the last thread: Anyone know of any good Battle Videoes (preferably ubers)? When I look for a match with a Deoxys in it, I don't want to see an Aurora Beam Suicune.
