Is shoddy the only way to get Gluttony/Extreemspeed Linoone?
Gluttony is not in RSE
No, but if you have the Pokemon Box game and deposit 100 Pokemon from one game into it, you get a Zigzagoon egg with Extremespeed. If you then Pal Park the Zigzagoon into a 4th gen game, when it evolves its ability has a chance to change to Gluttony.

When EV training a pokemon, does it matter when I evolve the pokemon? For example, can I train my EVs on a sneasel and then evolve him through leveling during the night, and all the fruits of my labor remain?

Yes, you can. It doesn't matter at all at what level you EV train at or if you EV train a Pokemon before or after it evolves.

No, it can be used for all subsequent battles. I have a question now: How do I create a nickname on iRC chat for server #stark?
I believe it is /msg nickserv register (password) (username)

if that's not it, then /msg nickserv register and it will guide you through the rest.

Can someone list all the Team Styles? Such as Baton Passers, Hail Stall, etc. Not looking for the pokemon used in those teams, just names of styles I might have not read up on yet.

Offensive, Balanced, Defensive, Stall, Sandstorm, Hailstorm, Rain Dance, Sunny Day, Trick Room, Gravity, Baton Pass, and I think that's it. I probably missed a bit, but that's all that I can think of.

I looked through the Platinum ev guide and I am little confused, I have a Umbreon with 104 attack evs, if I use the ev reducing berry will it lower me to 100 evs or 94 evs?

If you have over 100 EVs (as in your case), even if you're just 1 EV over, the first berry will simply reduce it to 100. Then every berry after that will decrease the amount by 10. So, in your case, the EV reducing berry would first reduce it to 100 EVs, then the next one you'd use would reduce it to 90, then 80, 70, 60, etc.

What does the Boah in Tyraniboah stand for?
IIRC, it means "Wow". It happened back in Netbattle and some person was using a old version of it, and some Brazillian person kept on saying BOAH BOAH BOAH in the chat. Jumpman or whoever came in and then they changed it to make it Tyraniboah.

How much ATK-EVs does Forretress with Relaxed nature need to OHKO common switch-ins, who expecting EQ, like Gengar or Salamence, with Gyro Ball after ST Damage?

What type has the best offensive coverage in your opinions?

water + normal covers everything except for empoleon and shedinja
water + dragon has the same coverage
ice + electric is only resisted by magnezone and lanturn
fighting + dark hits everything but toxicroak and heracross and i think something else
ghost + fighting gets a neutral hit on everything
ground + rock is resisted by bronzong claydol and torterra (and i think something else)

you realize you could easily do the calculations yourself...?

against timid gengar gyro ball has a power of 139 (25*350/63+1).
240 Atk vs 156 Def & 261 HP (139 Base Power): 229 - 271 (87.74% - 103.83%)
so you need 104 attack evs to OHKO gengar.

against max speed salamence gyro ball has a power of 131 (25*328/63+1).
346 Atk vs 196 Def & 331 HP (131 Base Power): 249 - 294 (75.23% - 88.82%)
you need 1220 attack evs to OHKO fast salamence after intimidate and SR damage. in other words it's not happening. even with a choice band (since relaxed bronzong only gets to 304 attack and cb cancels out intimidate).

Blitzkrieg - I moved your earlier thread into the DPPt RNG research thread. Mingot has attempted to answer your question...it's on Page 130.

I'd appreciate a link to this thread, please. I tried to search for it but Smogon says that "RNG" is too short of a term and I couldn't find the topic. Forgive me, I'm still a newb at navigating the site.

Just a quick question, this applies to Emerald too right?
