Don't worry about arbitrary phrases like "sweeper" and "wall". However, when you're at a disadvantage, you need to be able to switch to a Pokemon who will be able to take the incoming attack without immediately dying. So yes, a "wall" is necessary at least in that sense. What Pokemon are usually on a team? I know sweepers are a must on a team? And also, is it really that important to have walls?
I don't get it. I've given my Tangela 10 HP Ups and 10 Irons. Then I gave him Pokerus and Exp. Share, and gave my lead Pokemon the relevent Power items and defeated 15 Gastrodons and 15 Gravelers. This should have been enough, right? I mean:
(((2+4) x 2) x 15) + 100 is the formula for my EV training so far, and thats over the 255. I've done this for each stat. Yet not only has my Tangela's EVs not maxed out, they're nowhere NEAR maxing out. I know this because I tried giving him medicine, and he accepted about 15 of them. What gives?
You battle on wi fi by going downstairs at a pokemon center.
Generally you need wireless internet, or you need to go to a place that offers wi fi. You could also buy one of those Nintendo Wi Fi Adaptor things that hook up into your computer.

The only problem that I can think of is, IIRC, that EVs get split with Exp. Share. So a Graveler would give 1 Defence EV to your lead Pokemon, and one to your Tangela.
If that's not the problem, I can't think of anything else that might be going wrong =/
Oh, ok. Clearly I should spend my time actively seeking out your posts. Maybe then one day my IQ might be as high as yours. No one ever pays attention to my posts.
Power item effects DO NOT get transferred to the one using EXP Share. What you have so far is 2 * 2 * 15 + 100, which is a mere 160.
Oh no, it's someone who can use sarcasm and worthlessly troll the forums. God save me from pooch's wit. I was just making a note on how I corrected someone on the same thing barely a few pages back. Maybe it would do good to try the little search feature at the top of the forums before you go asking questions.Oh, ok. Clearly I should spend my time actively seeking out your posts. Every time you use the same move consecutively, it boosts the move's power by an additional 10%. (10%, then 20%, then 30%, etc) It maxes out at 200% (which means it does 3X the regular damage), and if you use a different move then the boost from metronome is reduced to 0.What does the item, "Metronome" do?

I'm jsut wondering, but what EVs should I always give a Ditto? And what nature should he be?
And don't forget that fun little powder that boosts its defenses by a ton.I would probably just give it a defensive spread so it survives to make the Transformation in the first place.
I had my ability to use the search feature revoked. In fairness, it's probably because of my habit of sarcasm and worthless trolling.Oh no, it's someone who can use sarcasm and worthlessly troll the forums. God save me from pooch's wit. what if i buy the adapter and hook it up to my computer then all i need to do is go down stairs of the pokemon center and battle?
Go downstairs in the pokemon center and talk to the lady at the desk. If you haven't yet, you'll recieve a pal pad. After that, you can recieve a friend code, in which you can exchange with other people. When you've done that, you talk to the lady at the desk again, and she'll as you to connect; when connected, you'll be able to battle with the people who you've exchanged friend codes with.
