If you bothered to read the first post...

The Rotom-formes are not currently usable over wifi, only local wireless (link battles). Same goes for Giratina-O & Shaymin-S.

And a majority of your questions can easily be answered by just looking at the Strategy Dex. I mean come on :/

Maybe i should ask: is the damage output worth the 10% recoil? On Pokemon like SD Weavile or most Infernape I always use Life Orb, but unlike those two Gyarados actually posesses good defensive stats and typing; isn't it a shame to lose that?

@Griserous Orb

86HP/216SpA/96SpD/112Spe
Modest nature
~Calm Mind
~Dragon Pulse
~Shadow Ball
~Aura Sphere

@Leftovers

252HP/66SpA/192Spe
Timid nature
~Roost
~Calm Mind
~Ice Beam
~Hydro Pump

Good?
Also, can I pass Griserous Orb to Diamond to clone it?
Should I use Zen Headbutt on SD Mew/Psychic on NP Mew/Psychic on Specs Mewtwo/Psycho Boost on Deoxys-A and Lugia?
Iv'e also noticed Fighting is a suprisingly good defensive typing-would you agree?

You want Substitute on Giratina because it blocks status, and revenge killers like ScarfChomp switching in for the kill. And you will make Substitute that Blissey can not possibly hope to break.. as well as many other Pokemon after a couple Calm Minds.

As for that Lugia, he's horribly walled by Kyogre. Why not run Thunder?

The choice between Life Orb and Leftovers is really a preference thing. I prefer the extra power offered by Life Orb personally. 30% is a lot.

People mostly say how great of STAB Dragon is, but, if you say, Shadow Ball and Aura Sphere are still unresisted...is it worth the loss of coverage?
Lugia gets Hydro Pump, why waste that?

Is Heat Wave a better move to use over Flamethrower on Heatran (and any other fire Pokemon)? I was reading the strategy Pokedex on Heatran, but it wasn't mentioned in the movesets or other options.

Heat Wave only has 5BP more and 90% accuracy, which isn't the abysmal rise in power...Fire Blast is used mostly, slightly less accurate than Heat Wave but significantly more powerful.

Hydro Pump does almost nothing for coverage, and is resisted by most of the tier. With Whirlwind, you can at least do something to Blissey, and with Thunder you can at least threaten Kyogre and 'hurt' Palkia a little bit. Good luck trying to KO either of them with Ice Beam/Hydro Pumo combonation.

OK...Is Dragon Pulse's coverage worth losing for Substitute?
BTW...is Ice considered a good offensive type in Ubers?

Instead of playing 20 questions, you should check out the Analysis, or try a few teams on Shoddy, to see what fits. Dragon Pulse/Aura Sphere is OKAY on Giratina-O; it wrecks Palkia, who otherwise might switch in and try to threaten with its own STAB Dragon attacks and high Special Defense.

Generally, Substitute is considered the superior option on Giratina-O, because it has no reliable way to Recover from status, and it helps against powerful physical Dragons sporting Outrage from switching in, and taking you out.

Ice is a very good offensive type in Ubers, hitting the Dragons for Super Effective damage, annihilating Skymin, and wrecking Groudon.

Could someone please fix the horrid state of the tiers so people can actually have fun and not get bored with this game?

Hi where can i find a list of the IVs needed for Hidden Power for Attack values lower than 70?? like 69 and 60 etc? Looking for Fire the most with 31 in SpA and Speed

I'm not sure about where the list is, but if you are asking specifically for HP Fire, then I can tell you that it's impossible to have 31 SpA and/or Speed. HP Fire will require SpA and Speed both to be EVEN numbers. If you want to see how Hidden Power works, you can look at Peterko's Hidden Power Breeding Guide here: http://www.smogon.com/forums/showthread.php?t=20649 ... It's mostly just simple math, for calculating hidden power type and base power.

For a longer explanation as to why HP Fire can't have 31 SpA or Speed... HP Fire requires a "type value total" of 34 - 37, meaning SpD needs to be odd in order to have a type value total of 32 or higher. SpA is worth 16 points while Speed is worth 8 points, and either one (with its IV being an odd number... like 31) added to 32 will result in a number higher than 37, so it's impossible to have HP Fire with 31 SpA or 31 Speed.

The only thing "bad" about 30 Speed is that you'll lose out to other base 90 speed pokemon with the same nature as your Roserade. If you don't want your Roserade to be walled by steel types, then HP Fire is good, but if you don't care about that (like, you have enough other members in your team to take care of steels), then you don't need it.

30 SpA isn't a huge deal. You won't notice the difference.

Do you all expect the US to eventually get the Jirachi event? I'm wondering if I should bother trying to get a decent Jirachi on the GBA or if I can just wait and RNG up a perfect one from the Wonder Card.

I wouldn't expect it, because they did the event for Tanabata in Japan. It probably won't be re-done outside of Japan unless they do it for something else randomly.

If I fainted the roaming Cresselia on Diamond, would it reappear if I beat the Pokemon League? Because Giratina and the lake trio do, and I don't want to miss out on my only Cresseila.
