i've tryed to obtain by breeding a sassy 0 IV speed eevee for an umbreon, but the best eevee i've obtained has 9 IV in this stat, is it good aniway, or i have to re-breed it?

I'm not sure if this is the best place to post this but...

I'm trying to find a bulky wall that can cripple/support/pshyical revenge killer in this team:

Smeargle
Mismagius
Magnezone
Scizor
Latias

I have tried Gliscor, Dugtrio, Registeel and Swampert, but none of them fit. Any suggestions?

I am a bit curious as how attack boosts work I have a couple of questions:
1. Say you had a scizor with swarm and it knew fury cutter, had a choice band and swarm was activated? could you please explain to me how things like that will add up (or multiply up or whatever) and if you used fury cutter again, what would be the base power?

2.How many swords Dances would you need to get your full attack back if you were burned?

3. If you had a heatran with choice scarf and heat wave and it was hit by a fire type move what would be Heatwaves power?

  1. Swarm and Choice Band both boost a move by 50% power each, so the overall power of Fury Cutter (assuming original base power of 10) would be 10 x 1.5 x 1.5 = 15 x 1.5 = 22.5 (an overall increase of x2.25).
  2. Burn cuts your Attack to half its original stat, and stat boosts increase your Attack by 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3, 3.5 etc. Thus, you would need two stat boosts (one Swords Dance) to reach your original Attack stat again.
  3. Flash Fire multiplies damage by 1.5, so Heat Wave's power would be 100 x 1.5 = 150 base power.

does anyone know of a calculator where i could type in certain types and it would come up with a list of pokemon that resist all those types?

Because, if your opponent tricks themsves a black sludge it would be easy to trick it back onto a Blissey of something.

But, you can just look at the type of move and compare it to the Pokemon.

http://www.serebii.net/pokedex-dp/

So for example, say I want to use a Bug type move against Venusaur, I can go to Venusaur and look and see if how much it resists (or in this case, neutral) it is. I don't think there is a calculator.

Would an Electric move be the best option for the second attacking move?
Also, why isn't Psychic used on Latias?

Yes, Electric is a good secondary typing.

Dragon, as Latias' primary STAB, is only resisted by Steel types, which Psychic does absolutely squat about. Along with that, Darks are completely immune and Poison/Fighting coverage isn't exactly the greatest.

So basically, Psychic isn't used on Latias for the reason it's not used on most other Pokemon.

Also (2),is CM Latias better usedin Ubers, OU or both?
Also (3), SpcesLatias Draco Meteor/Ice Beam/TB/Psychic?
Also (4), will Soul Dew even be premitted in OU?
Also (5), will Latios ever go OU? Heatran has the same SpA stat and Overheat, what makes Draco Meteor broken?

Bleh blast. XD I'll do my best.

(2) CM Latias does well in OU, but I have no experience with Ubers. I would guess that it performs pretty well there, too.
(3) I would go with Draco Meteor, Thunderbolt, Surf, and something besides Ice Beam and Psychic. Ice Beam is as redundant as before, and Psychic is as unreliable as before. It's even worse when a Tyranitar can switch in scotch-free and start Dragon Dancing and Pursuit as you switch out.
(4) Probably not. As a free Calm Mind, physical attacks would basically be the only hope of defeating one.
(5) I really can't say for sure on that one, but Latios has a pretty high base speed and decent typing for switching in. As mentioned before, Dragon-type attacks are good to throw around because Steels are the only resists. Latios has the movepool and stats to break through Steels with powerful neutral moves, whereas Heatran will have dificulty countering the waters, rocks, and dragons that usually like to come in on his Fire STABS.

The already-mentioned Electric coveres only two types and is immuned by one as well, why doesn't anybody say Electric has bad coverage? And besides, Psychic/Fighting gives fantastic coverage against all of thise pesky Poison walls...

Bulky waters are ever present and secondary flying types are rampant, which gives Electrics a wide hit range of Pokemon. Electrics must always beware of grounds like Psychics need to avoid Darks.

There are few Poison walls, and they almost all reside in UU. I thought you were mostly inquiring about OU.

The best 2 attacks for OU Latias are probaly Dragon Pulse + Surf. Electric attacks should only be used in Ubers or on an OU specs/scarf set.
The only use I see of T-bolt in OU is for checking Gyarados, since maybe only Suicune could threaten you a bit more w/o it.

Psychic is not used simply because DragonPulse does everything Psychic does except hitting Poisons harder, which do not really cause Latias much trouble anyway.

In ubers, simply run one of the 2 uber sets in the Latias analysis. For OU, it depends, but I run D-Pulse/Surf/CM /HP Fire or Recover

For catching pokemon in the wild using a Synchronizer in the first slot.. If that pokemon is fainted, does it inherit the Nature of the Synchronizer or the Second pokemon?

1. you forgot about STAB, with STAB, it gets to 3.375*damage so the first attack 33.75 power
3. again, you forgot about STAB, with flash fire it is 1.5* but with STAB it is another 1.5* so that is 2.25* damage bringing it to 225 power
