Ask a simple question, get a simple answer - mark 22 (READ THE OP)

I know a Pokemon obtained in an in - game trade retains the level of the traded Pokemon but does it :

1. Retains the IVs of the traded Pokemon.
2. Has randomly generated IVs.
3. Has predetermined IVs.
 
Did North America already have their Celebi event for HGSS? If so, when did they have it? http://www.serebii.net/heartgoldsoulsilver/celebi.shtml Someone I talked to said they already had this event in the NA and it's too late, but I'm kind of doubting this and thinking he might be mistaken it with the Japanese event. If North America hasn't had this event, then can someone give me an estimation for the date? Thanks a bunch.

I see then. Thanks for the confirmation. Actually, I think there was a Gamestop event for this Celebi right some time before the release of HGSS, but that was for DPPt and not many people had heard of it.

Aw, so I guess it really was a false rumor then. Thanks for the corrections. But will the Japanese version of the Celebi trigger the event in HGSS US version, or does it only work with the US version of Celebi?

I don't see why not. Japanese pichu activated notched ear for me. Heard of other language ones working.
 
3 questions (I'm a pokewalker noob :U):

1. You get the Winner's Path course through an event, right?

2. Looking at Serebii, certain items appear by percentages, sometimes as high as 30% percent, but only between like 2500 and 3000 steps (for example). Does this mean I can stop walking during that space of time, find three of that item, transfer them to my DS via "recieve a treasure" or whatever... then just go get three more and get a bunch of that item?

3. The Yellow Forest was an event too huh... any way to get it still?

1. Yes, but it hasn't happened in North America yet.

2. Theoretically, you could, however, when you 'Receive a Gift', it transfers over the Watts on the Pokewalker as well, so you've have to generate more Watts to find more items, potentially going over that target-step-range.

3. The Yellow Forest is still on wifi in North America right now. Just get it from Mystery Gift! :D
 
How do I get my Dratini from the Dragon Den? I've already beat the game and gone past that point. I've answered all the right questions to get the Dratini with Extremespeed, and I've already faced Claire and Lance in a double battle with my Rival. I went inside that little hut to talk to the Master and everytime he just says something Lugia, which is pointless now because I already caught Lugia in Whirl Islands and all the other legends/Ubers (other than Rayquaza, due to not having Groudon from SS version yet -- also, I'm playing HeartGold, if you haven't figure it out yet, so the Lugia I catch is the level 70 one, which I already did).

So how do I make him give me the Dratini? Did I forget to get it? Was I suppose to go and get it at some point after answering his questions? Does it have some kind of time period or point in the game that I go up that he no longer will give it to me? And also, just so I can rule out another obvious answer that I may get, I already went and talked to him with 5 Pokemon in my party, thinking he would give it to me if I had a space open, but he did not. So how do I get my Dratini (and yes, I have all 16 badges, but no Dratini lol)?

This happened to me. Your party was full when you did the questioning so now we can't get a Dratini.
