I'm sure you can't get the blocks until you get the National Pokedex because with the blocks, you can get Pokemon that aren't in the Regional Dex.

Are you sure? I thought vitamins were incapable of raising EVs past 100. Even if you had something like 96 and used one, it would still only give you 100.
I was under the impression that if you had 96 EVs, a vitamin was unusable on that stat since it would be pushed above 100.

i have a flawless ditto with 31 iv's in every stat. do i have a gud chance of the baby pokemon getting 31 stats from speed and special atatck from the ditto? and cud someone explain the chances

Probably the most stupid question.
How do you get your shoddy ranking?

type into the main shoddy window:
/record <your name here>

Simiarly, in the users tab, find your name, right-click and choose "view record"
there it gives your average rating and CRE.

Odd question here: I've been playing in the Battle Frontier with my new Surfing Pikachu, and she's quite the powerhouse. But as a Pikachu she's hardly bulky, and there's some things she just can't take out. What would be some good Pokemon (preferably not OU) to complement her? I had a quick look at NU analyses for ideas and Miltank stood out to me, but I don't know how good an idea that is.
Anyone?

Why the heck do we call each other fat when we quote each other?

I've always wondered that. It's obviously just goofy, but it seems kinda mean-spirited.

I'd imagine the best pair for a surfing pikachu would be a SubPasser with massive HP. In NU, maybe Lunatone/Solrock, since you also get Levitate? Floatzel and Furret tie for the most base HP that can learn BP in NU, though...

How would big subs help Pikachu? Its awful defenses would pretty much render any Sub only good for one hit. Also, I suck with Baton Pass. I can't even get it right with Ninjask. For what it's worth, I'm thinking an Ice type would cover the holes in Pikachu's offense. And would Miltank be a good ally?

I'm not just wanting NU stuff, UU is good too. I'd probably even take things on the lower end of OU (read: not stuff like Scizor).

Try something with Encore to give Pikachu a chance to switch in.

I've never been good with Encore outside of Wobbuffet. The way I would see it used by me would be that I Encore an attack and they pound me with it anyway. I never manage to catch non-offense with it. I fail at Substitute for the exact same reason, I always get them broken straight away. Why do I suck so much?

Is this a good thread for these kinds of questions, or is there one somewhere specialising in answering this kind of stuff?

Can you obtain more than one legendary from the Sinjoh Ruins in HGSS if you obtain more than one Arceus? I've heard conflicting information.

Is the spiky-eared Pichu's nature always Naughty.

I only know the answer to the first one :).

You can get 2 out of the 3 legendary at the Sinjoh Ruins.
You can get 1 by having the TRU arceus.
You can get another 1 by having the flutey one. But considering the flute was never released in the english/american versions. I'm not sure if a japanese one will work. It might :P - actually, was the flute released in Japan? O.o

No, the flute was never released in Japan.
Also I don't think a Caught Arceus triggers the event either, since one Arceus transports you there, so you can't go back.
So I think only 1 is the right answer.
