Okay, I and my friends will be having an advance tournament so I decided to use a CurseLax, which I will then transfer to my DP. Question: which Snorlax fits the set better?

24-26/24-26/20-23/30-31/17-19/7-9 Bold

or

30-31/27-29/10-13/30-31/24-26/20-23 Docile

I know those IVs aren't the best, and I don't have intentions to trade them. Will be using it in tournaments/battles versus friends only.
They both suck honestly, but I would use the Docile one

Can someone explain me the EV-Split of Sleeptalk-Tentacruel? I was looking for an explanation but I was succesless.

What's the absolute lowest Speed I should have on an Impish Gliscor? I really dislike the idea of dumping so many speed EVs into him when I prefer him to take hits than break stalls.

I am not sure if this is allowed or not. But is it illegal to ask someone to make a legendary for you? Or do people allow those kind of pokemon in Wifi? For those who wonder which legendary I am talking about, it is Azelf and Mesprit.

There is no law against it, so it wouldn't be illegal. If you mean is it cheating, then that depends on who your opponent on WiFi is, and what method the other person is using to create your Pokemon. For myself, trades and RNGed trades are okay, but I don't touch hacks (legit or not).

If I were ev training a Chimchar with Pokerus, I gave it a Power Bracer, and it just defeated a Shinx, then would it get 6 attack ev's? I mean I think that because the power bracer gives it a default of 4 evs, and the shinx gave you two with pokerus. I'm confused

I just IV checked my 6 pokemon on hg.. and mind you.. before i checked.. ive had 30 hours in the game.. and i really grew attatched to them, etc. thinking theyre awesome.. but now that i know their IVs.. and how horrible they are.. ranging 3-10 in 4-5 stats. i feel like theyre crap.. and i dont even want to use them. am i just being retarded? should i go for the.. underdog type of game?

The Pokerus boost is applied last. So 1 Attack EV from Shinx + 4 from the Power item = 5 EVs, which is then doubled from Pokerus to 10.

Oh, thanks. So now, I can make a super powerful team a bit faster. But what if I give it 10 proteins after it gets pokerus? Will it have 100 attack evs or 200?

Hi, new here and I thought after having Pokemon be the only real handheld game I've ever loved, I might actually try to find out what's what.

Being a nub who gets nearly all his info from Bulbapedia, can you tell me some of the easiest Heartgold high-tier pokemon to get?

I have a gyrados (not the shiny one), which was my main so it isn't properly EV trained, and I plan to grab a few tyranitars to go for a + Attack nature...but besides that can you tell me easy to grab good Pokemon?

Thanks.

Okay, we I don't think someone would RNG me a Azelf or Mesprit. Due to that would be the only one they could catch. I don't mind the hacking, as long as it is a legit hack. And where would I ask someone, to do it for me, if they would be kind enough to do it.

Try the WiFi forums. I don't think they allow hacks, but I'm pretty sure you might be able to get a good IVed/RNGed clone.

Oh, so you can clone the Azelf and what not? My friend said, when I said, 'make', that you can only make one with Pokesav, not RNG.

I know this question is actually really old... But, does Mesprit respawn if the E4 are defeated after killing it? If it does, do I have to go to the cave again, or it will start roaming again on its own?

Should I start leveling up a pokemon that knows the move pickup, and if so, which pokemon?
Pick Up doesn't have any competitive aspect, so I don't suggest it. But if you want you could train Pachirisu. It's cute and both it's abilities sucks so having Pick Up on it isn't a total waste. ^^

So no way to clone in HGSS? :/
People request cloning jobs all the time in the wifi forum. Why don't you ask there?

whats a good place to hatch an umbreon in heartgold.
Do you mean quickly hatching it? Or hatching for style? I'd go with Ecruteak City's Gym for style. If you don't mind hovering over your handheld, I'd say bike path. If you want it to hatch itself while you go get a sandwich and watch TV, Viridian City Gym, and tape down one of the controls so your character keeps walking into the same spinner ad inifinitum.

Welcome, I'm not sure in what order moves are erased in the Day Care, but I wouldn't risk it if you need a certain move unless you want to Heart Scale it back later.
It is to my understanding the Day Care dudes erase the first move first, then the second, then the third, then the fourth, then go back to the first again.

Did Japan ever get events for any of the secret Pokétch apps? I'm wondering if Nintendo just never bothered to release them anywhere or if this is just one more thing that is exclusive to them.
Secret Poketch apps? Can someone please tell me a bit about these?

Can someone explain to me why my DS seems to disconnect, even though im close to the Router and the bars are at 3.(The max)
I've experienced this before and the problem you are likely having is that of an intermittent connection. Your signal strength may be strong but it isn't consistent, so thats why it fizzles out. Restore your router (either reset it or hit the small restore to default button) and then try again. If this doesn't work, call your ISP and ask them to unclog your router. Make sure no other computers or access points are currently being used when you attempt to connect.
Try this: check the nearby wifi connections available. Are there any near yours on the same channel? If two wifi signals are on the same channel, they can interfere with each other. Adjust your router so it uses a unique channel (1, 6, and 11 are the most common channels).

Nooooo, they're your buddies! Don't throw them away! You'll hate yourself later if you do!

Give them friends that are awesome that can hold their own on the competitive game, but don't get rid of them. You know you like them.
