Double battles will not be supported until the pending release of Shoddy Battle 2. The best way to do what you said is open two Shoddy and challenge yourself.
 
Hey so I was wondering,

When Gamefreak releases Gen V in Japan will we be able to play with the new pokemon over shoddy? or do we have to wait for the games to hit America first?
 
@Negative Nancy - yes there is but it involves some client work. You can download this client and fix those packages (javax.something) that Colin "forgot" to include. Once your done, locate the /ban command (last time I checked it had something to do with BattleServer.java, and you could find the command from there). Just add like an 8 hour option, or 12, or whatever length.

There's an easier way. Open the user list, find a user, and click ban, and select the expiration date. The other way is for speed though.

You have to right click your username on the users list and something pops up that says view record, when you click on that it will show you your cre. Cre is your rating based on your win/loss record, It dosen;t show you your win/loss record.

Also, while on the smogon u server I know you can type \record [username] or something similar to that (obviously replacing username with your username)
 
2 quick questions.

Where can I discuss competitive strategy (something about EV distribution)?

And from what I have seen, the Smogon Shoddy Battle server does not have HGSS moves programmed into the team builder?
 
Should I be able to see the whole log at the end of a match? It appears to cut off for me so If I try to c/p the log of a battle the log starts about four or five turns into the battle.

As you can see the log starts far from the beginning of the battle. I am running shoddy on the mac, so does it have something to do with the java settings?
 
The log cutoff is a known error with Shoddy, happens on Macs and PCs alike to all players. I forget the exact origin of the bug but it will be corrected in Shoddy Battle 2. Save log will still save the entire battle however.
 
I have searched the forums and i am unable to find an answer so i will ask here.

Are you allowed to have multipule accounts on the smogon shoddy battle server?
like having one for testing teams and one for using the teams that work out well.

My shoddy has stopped working and as usual I uninstalled it and attempted to download it again. However, the Shoddy Battle website does not seem to be working and as such I am unable to do so. Any ideas?
