Spikes over Stealth Rock on Skarmory. Stealth Rock is a waste of a moveslot on Skarmory, as there are many other pokemon that can utilize it better and you wouldn't give up Spikes for SR if a pokemon was able to get both

Really not too bad anymore. I do believe that side effects (such as the 10% freeze chance from Ice Beam) and critical hit rates are higher than they are supposed to be, but it seems that most moves and items are there now.

It's Poketch APP number 6, found in Eterna City inside the Pokemon Center.

On that screen, the six Pokemon in your party will move around, and you can poke them with your stylus to see how much they like you. Two hearts and an enlargement is the max.

Beat Up uses your base Attack and your opponent's base Defense in damage calculation. For example, if your Pokemon had a base Attack of 90 and the opponent had a base Defense of 80, you would effectively be using a 10 base power attack off 90 Attack against 80 Defense. This process is repeated for each of your healthy (unstatused and unfainted) Pokemon. Beat Up does not get STAB. This also explains why Beat Up does so much to Blissey; Blissey can more than double its actual Defense stat through EVs, but Beat Up bypasses EVs. Note that Beat Up is nearly worthless against anything else. Always nickname your Pokemon when you use Beat Up, or else you'll give away your team because it will be like:
Pokemon A's Attack
x damage
Pokemon B's Attack
x damage
Pokemon C's Attack
x damage, etc.

Anyway, that's Beat Up, simplified.

@Robo Mike: Status moves do not stop Focus Punch. So if a Tyranitar wants to use Focus Punch, but a Blissey uses Toxic, Tyranitar will still be able to carry out the attack. Essentially, Focus Punch is only stopped by direct damaging moves that actually do damage to the user.

Yes, when you catch/breed a pokemon, it will have it's OT's SID. If it doesn't have one, or it's 00000, it's hacked.

It should start working when you breed a Male + Female Octillery.
If you have a Female + Ditto, only putting the everstone on Ditto works.

Get a heart scale and go to Pastoria. Go to the move tutor and teach it to Garchomp. He learns it at level 1. If he didn't know it at level 1 then go back and reteach it from the move tutor.

also i have recieved a few normal pokemon through trades with no secret id, are they any reputable people on this forum who are good at checking if things are hacked? i want to make sure before i complain
