ok this is a breeding question (and it's not about sneasel. lol)

im trying to make an elekid with ice punch and cross chop and this is how i think i need to approach it.

a) female elekid or electabuzz breeds with a male machamp with cross chop.

the result is an elekid with cross chop, then....

elekid with cross chop (female again) with a male hitmonchan that has ice punch.

does that sound right? or am i missing something.
 
nope, the female cant pass down the egg move.

wat you need to do is, have a female machamp breed with an ice punching pokemon, hitmonchan in this case.

once u get ice punch on machop, level it up to learn cross chop, then breed with your female electabuzz.

the offsprings should have both icepunch and crosschop

If you Defense curl, it doubles the power of rollout.

If you keep using Defense Curl, Does the power of rollout keep doubling?

Er, wait a second. I was thinkin about this earlier, and it doesn't make sense anymore. Cause if volbeats can only breed with illumises/dittos and have to be male, then the volbeat would have to already know the egg move to pass it down right? So that doesn't make sense to me.

So, to be more specific, how exactly can I make a volbeat learn trick?
 
i think it was 60 base? then every stat up your opponent has is an extra 20 base power. I'm pretty sure it maxes at 200. Correct me if I'm wrong, anyone?
 
No, that would be pretty cheap, and if you really fear things that are 4x weak to eq and rock slide. The elemental punches are almost always better since more mainstream threats are weak to them. Dusknoir won't be doing that much damage with eq and rock slide anyway, since 100 base, no nature, no evs is only 236, which is pretty bad. Eq might be good if you really fear vire, but I don't think it will ohko, and you're better off using w-o-w
 
If you breed a female pokemon with a ditto and you give both of them an everstone, from which poke does the baby inherit the nature?

I said nothing about using Volbeats. The offspring of an Illumise can either be another Illumise OR a Volbeat. If you want to get a Volbeat with Trick, you'd breed a male Trick Spinda with an Illumise.

Misdreavus got Hypnosis as an NYPC promotion. This was back in the GSC generation, though.
 
New York Pokemon Center,
Alexisonfire, is that for an ingame team, or for wifi? It doesnt really matter, since there isn't anything special that electabuzz can learn that vire can't. As long as you have the electrizer, you're set.
