I dont know what you mean but If you mean a pokemon that is a Physical Wall and Physical Sweeper, Rhyperior is pretty good imo. Also Metagross.
Well, I'm getting a shiny Impish Meditite, and I was going to try an EV train in Attack and Defense. It's probably not going to work out well, but I'm going to try anyway.

Would there be any strategy in using an electric type atttack on your own Electivire in a double battle, or would that just be a basic waste of a turn?

That's a question i didn't have answered on pg. 91.

Also, a new question. I have around 15 fossils and would like a shiny one. Will the shinyness (lol) already be determined when i get the fossil out of the underground, or is it determined when you take it to the man in Oreborough?

Why not just go Speed and attack? Even with some extra defense, he will still be 2HKO'd by most attacks.

I trained my nincada to lv 20 and it evolve to ninjask, but there was no shedinja in my open slot. I tried it again with another nincada, but again no shedinja. Is there something i dont know that im doing wrong?

Medicham has MODERATE defenses, but abysmal HP, so much so that it won't compensate for the "iffyness" of the defensive stats. Even in UU, you'll likely be OHKO'd, moreso than otherwise, because then you'd be sacraficing speed stats, being outsped by the likes of super-power (big fighting move)choice-band-huge-power-azumarill, and even other medicham.

Wow.. Ariados sucks.

Unfortunately, I'm stuck using it for a theme team. Help me decide what set to use; It's for a 3vs3 team, and it's partners will be a Mixmence and a Swords Dance Drapion.

Ariados @ Brightpowder
252 HP/252 Def/6 SpDef
Impish Nature (+Def, -SpAtk)
- Toxic
- Double Team
- Protect
- Night Shade

Yeah.. Poison the foe and pray they don't hit you. Night Shade for the finishing damage.

Ariados @ Choice Band
252 Atk/252 Spd/6 HP
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SpAtk)
- Poison Jab
- Bug Bite
- Sucker Punch
- Dig (lol)

Your average Choice Bander, except it's much slower with rather meh Attack. A Choice Band could boost it to a respectable 459, though.

Ariados @ Focus Sash
252 Atk/252 Spd/6 HP
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SpAtk)
- Baton Pass
- Agility
- Spider Web
- Poison Jab

It seems ok at first, but I just can't see this one helping the team much. Agility first turn, Spider Web next turn if they didn't attack when you used Agility. Toxicstaller and Choice Ariados seem better then this.

In response to the Electivire question, it's an excellent strategy if you use Discharge. It hits all opponents+ally, and has a 30% para rate, so you nab a speed boost, decent damage, and a possible paralyze. It's a good strategy with TBolt, too, though.

Ok...so I looked at pokedex entries for Mewtwo, and I cannot see how it can learn Self Destruct. But I see people offering Mewtwos with that attack. Is there a way to get Self Destruct on Mewtwo that I don't know about?

Does U-Turn boost Avalanche/Revenge's power (if you target the U-Turn user with Avalanche)? Since it's technically a DIFFERENT pokemon damaging the Avalanche user, but the same slot...

Scenario: Cresselia uses Rest. Cresselia uses Sleep Talk; Cresselia uses Psycho Shift. The enemy fell asleep.

1) Do you wake up, or are you both asleep?
2) If you select Psycho Shift by random selection during Sleep Talk, and you put a second Pokemon to sleep, what happens?

Scenario: You have been in a stall war. You have no PP left in three of your moves. The only move you have left is Hypnosis, Sleep Powder, Spore, or something that puts the enemy to sleep. What do you do?

I'm hesitating to make up my mind. I am going to be using a Politoed and it'll be going all special so it'll also be having a minus attack nature. I came up with the moveset already and I was wondering what some other people though of it.

Politoed
Bold, Calm, Modest, or Timid nature
Surf/Hydro Pump, Focus Blast, Psychic, Ice Beam

Any tips and corrections are both welcome. Thanks in advance.

So why do people give electivire the extra 36 EV's?
Also, does anyone know the % chance of OHKO'ing skarmory with only 236 special attack?
236 would only require 40 EV's, which would let you put another 40 into speed (getting it up to 280), which lets you outspeed base 90's with max speed, and if you get the boost, a first turn ninjask.

It's not so much that people EV it to have a certain amount of Special Attack, but rather, it's max Attack, Speed to bring it to 270 to beat Adamant Heracross without a Motor Drive and Adamant Scarfcross and any non-boosted Pokemon that isn't Ninjask and some Electrode after a Motor Drive. The rest of the EVs are dumped into Special Attack.

You are cured of Sleep, and your opponent is put to sleep.
Sleeping a second Pokemon via Psycho Shift is a violation of Sleep Clause.

And if you have no moves but sleep moves left, your probably going to lose anyway. In something with Sleep Clause (Shoddy/PBR), the move would fail. If it's in D/P, you'd probably be best off running away.

make sure you have an extra pokeball, because you need one to hold it.

I think it only works in the 3rd gen games...

How do you get the most lefties recovery out of your pokemon?

..give them more HP? It recovers based on a percentage, you can't change that percentage.

i have a feebas with its beauty maxed out and i grew 4 levels and yet it has not evolved waht happened did i do something wrong???

is phione worth breeding or am i better off using a good manaphy?

What exactly do you mean? If you look at the base stats of both Pokemon...it would probably help you to make up your mind. Manaphy is naturally stronger then Phione. Manaphy has base stats of 100 in every stat. Phione has base stats of 80 in every stat. I use Phione just because I don't have a good natured or good IV'd Manaphy, so I just use Phione instead. Personally my advice is to just use your favorites. Not any specific Pokemon just to win. The game's more about having fun and challenging yourself to do well with every Pokemon rather than just using one set of Pokemon as your team and winning every match with Pokemon you dislike. That's just my opinion though.
