What is good physical sweeper for a Sunny Day team, that can take advantage of the Sun, if possible.

I'm thinking Infernape, but I'm wondernig if there's anything better.

Does anyone know if there's someone in the game, excluding the gym leaders, that uses Grass Knot or Stealth Rock?
I wanna Sketch them...
Thanks!

No, there is not, unfortunately, outside of Battle Tower (you can Sketch BT moves, but you can't keep them). But you can get into a double battle with the Vs. Seeker and Sketch your partner's moves.

Where's that link to the thread that shows maximum possible IV's for each hidden power type? I've been looking around for awhile but I can't seem to find it.

I know when a pokemon has been put to sleep by spore, it gets a sleep counter from 2 to 5.

My question is if this works the same for the other sleep inducing moves (save rest) like hypnosis and sleep powder. That is, is the minimum and max the same?

Yes, the range of Sleep is the same for every sleep inducing move except Rest.

Hey guys! Does anyone know by how much Metronome (the hold item) increases a move's power? I was thinking of making my Togekiss hold it for Air Slashing fun...but I need to know by how much it increases a move's power.

Anyone know?

@Evil Toast: Darkrai's Dark Void is the only pure status move.

@New Genius: Metronome increases a move's power by 10% the first time it's used, 20% the second time, and so on. It has a cap of 100% (twice the original damage).

Oh rly? Wow then...so how many Air Slashes will it take from a max SpAtk Togekiss to OHKO a Max HP + Max SpDef Blissey? o_O

Forgive me for this.

But by what percent does Dragon Dance increase your speed based on your speed stat?

And how much does being paralyzed lower it? :/

Okay thanks, I sorta dislike using one-off TMs, but I may clone some of them someday when I get Wi-Fi...

Dragon dance increases your speed by 150% (or x1.5)
And Paralisis quarters your speed stat (Rounded down)

So..(Embarassed) but what the hell spdef boosted in Sandstorm for Tyranitar and stuff?
Could someone just explain like..all of that for me?

I have a question but can more than one IVs be passed down to the baby Pokemon.

And I think rock types get the boost from Sandstorm. It gives a 50% boost.

In Sandstorm conditions, all Rock Pokemon get their Special Defense boosted by 50%. Why? Because Game Freak made it that way. And yes, more than 1 IV can be passed down; up to 3, actually.

i bred a jolly medicham earlier, but now theres no way to teach it psycho cut anymore without breeding again. should i use fire fang instead of psycho cut(i wanted to use the cb-cham), and what attack should be used for an assassin yanmega if hidden power is not ice or ground?

I saw a thread on NSiders about this and I wanted to know if it works.

Basically, you take a Pokemon in Emerald and teach it Mimic, and then have it battle a Smeargle to learn Sketch and then you can get any move on the Pokemon. I think it works, but not sure.

For the Medicham, if you aren't going to breed another, Fire Punch would be the best option over Psycho Punch (Medicham learns at level 1). For Yanmega, it's moveset is usually 4 of Hypnosis/Hidden Power/Airslash/Bug Buzz/Psychic. Choose which ever it currenly doesn't have.

I have only heard of that with Dittos using Transform to obtain Sketch, which worked in GSC, but in the 3rd Generation, the glitch was fixed.
