Hrothgar, to erase fully the EVs from any one stat, you would need to use 11 of that stat's EV reducing berries. The first one reduces to 100, and the last 10 each reduce 10 leaving 0.

Can someone tell me exactly how many of which berries it would take to completely remove ALL evs from a pokemon?

I caught a great heatran a while ago but screwed up the EVs completely, and now i don't remember what EVs i gave it and would like to redo it.

If you know the IVs, you can figure out the EVs from there.

If you got a pokemon at level 55 and you want to change the EVs, can you use the berries to reset a certain stat and EV train on points on another stat and still have it end up being as good as if you trained on those points in the first place?

I was thinking about using CSLucario and I was wondering what advantages Modest has over Timid. I just don't like to be outspeeded is all. I think I'll be running Aura Sphere/Vacuum Wave/Hp Ice/Shadow Ball if that helps.

Modest can 2hko major threads like Blissey and Jirachi where Timid can't. Also, Dark Pulse over Shadow Ball is decent on Lucario, but you lose the ability to hit Heracross, it's your call really.

Garchomp generally runs Jolly and Heracross uses Scarf, Electivire is lol. The main reason to use timid would be probably to outspeed Salamence and Zapdos (which seems to be increasing in popularity!)

Color Glasses is the Japanese translation; Tinted Lens is the English name. Tinted Lens roughly doubles the damage of not-very-effective attacks, so, for example, if a Yanmega with Tinted Lens attacks a Machamp with Bug Buzz, it would essentially do normal damage even though Machamp resists Bug. Note that if you attack a 4x resist, it will not completely remove the resistance.

I'm currently breeding Tyrogues, and I'm wondering about how their abilities change when they evolve.
Will a Guts Tyrogue always become an Iron Fist Hitmonchan, for example, or is it random? Is there a list or FAQ somewhere that explains ability changes from evolution like this?

Nothing resists Dragon and Fire.

Steel resists Dragon which is hit SE from FIRE.

Surskit..lol resists Ground and Ice.

For Tyrogue-

Guts -> Intimidate(top), Limber(Lee)-> ADV ability(chan)
Steadfast into all the new ones.

What exactly happens during a critical hit? Some people tell me that the base attack of the move is boosted (some say by 50%, some say it's random) and some tell me that the opponent's defense drops during that attack or something. Also what is the probability of getting a critical hit without Super Luck, no CH item, and a regular attack. What is the probability of a critical hit with ONE of the CH raising things. Thanks.

I believe the damage from the attack simply doubles. So it would be <insert damage formula output here>x2. Also, a normal attack has a 6.25 chance, while a +1 CH modifier has a 12.5.
