In Emerald, are there any circumstances where the chance of receiving a baby with the same nature as the mother (in this case, a Mild Ditto) holding an everstone is less than 50%? Out of 30 Horseas, only one was Mild (and one was Rash, wich is OK as well, but that's besides the point)...

I wouldn't be surprised if they did indeed get through, as it only detects ridiculously bad hacks. If you're good, you can get them into Rev.

Heh, alright. Thanks.

I mean, don't get me wrong. I don't mind hacking if you've hacked to save you some time for wi-fi battles or something. But when there's a real prize on the line (lol money, games, etc), that's when it begins to tick me off. xD

Is it true that in Pearl, that there's a better chance of getting a Magmarizer off a Magby (like 50%) than getting an Electrizer off an Elekid (like 5%)? (And I would assume vice versa in Diamond)

in the D/P analysis of shedinja, it says it can learn baton pass.
according to the serebii dex, nincada nor shedinja can learn baton pass, so how can I get baton pass on a shedinja?
?_?

Ninjask learns BP at level 45, so you need to raise a Nincada to level 44 and then evolve it; when it evolves into Ninjask, teach it Baton Pass, because the Shedinja will have the same moveset. Unfortunately, Swords Dance+Baton Pass on the same Shedinja is illegal.

Gengar@Focus Sash uses Shadow Ball on Milotic.
Milotic uses Mirror Coat.

Does Mirror Coat take down Gengar because it isnt a direct attack?
Does Focus Sash still kick in here?

Okay, so I want to replace Focus Blast with something else on the Sceptile that I use for doubles:

Sceptile@Life Orb
252 sp. atk 252 spd 6 HP
-Protect
-Leaf Storm
-Focus Blast
-Dragon Pulse

I really can't ditch either Leaf Storm or Protect; Leaf Storm is just too good, and I need Protect so I don't get killed by exploding leads. I have Life Orb over Choice Specs so I don't get stuck on Protect; should I replace it with Wise Glasses?

Okay, so what can I replace Focus Blast with so that I don't lose type coverage? I can replace Dragon Pulse too, if necessary. Any Hidden Power is fine, since I plan on rebreeding the Sceptile I'm currently using.

Also, if this is in the wrong section, then where is the best place to pose this question?

Life Orb is fine; Pokemon in doubles don't live very long anyways, particularly if they're fragile like Sceptile. If you really want to ditch Focus Blast, HP Fire offers the best type coverage in conjunction with your current moves.

If you hack two pokemon with perfect ivs in all stats then breed them together to get a pokemon with perfect ivs in all stats is the offspring considered hacked?

If you breed two and used the two breed to breed, or only one of the pokemon was hacked, I would consider it at least semi-legit. By my standards, if a pokemon isnt hacked itself (i.e. encounter change, shinyness, etc.) I consider it legit, but others will claim its not legit. Either way, don't be lazy and do it the honest way, but w/e.

Illuminate is horrible, it has no effect in battle at all. Natural cure is great, it's pretty critical for it not to have illuminate..

How exactly would someone get a Magic Guard Clefable with Softboiled? O_o; Is it even possible?

Breed in 3rd Gen, but don't evolve it. Teach Cleffa/Clefairy Softboiled through FRLG tutor. Migrate. Evolve and hope that your ability changes. Theres a 50% chance it will.

Poke's that got a new ability in the 4th Gen have a 50% chance of changing their ability upon Migration+Evolution. Its different though if they already had 2 abilities. (Shroomish has a 50% chance of chaning to Toxic Heal in the 4th Gen after Migration and Evolution, but Lightningrod Rhydon will never change to Solid Rock Rhyperiorm, only Rock Head Rhydon will.)

Its because the game internally gives every poke a 1 or a 2 ability, even if they only had 1 ability. In the 3rd Gen, both 1 AND 2 Shroomish had Effect Spore. Now, in the 4th Gen, 1 Shroomish have Effect Spore and 2 Shroomish have Toxic Heal (or vise-versa, does't really matter.) On the other hand 1 Rhydon will have Lighteningrod, same as Rhyperior, and 2 Rhydon have Rock Head (or vise-versa, again doesn't really matter), while 2 Rhyperior have Solid Rock. The number doesn't change upon evolution.

So, if your Clefairy from the 3rd Gen has a 2 for its ability variable (idk what its really called), it'll change when you evolve it.

Wow. I wrote more than I thought I would.
Edit: And 2 people beat me while I was typing this :/

Ouch.

Looks like I'm going to have to abuse Emerald Cloning to ensure I get one that switches. Thanks you two.

It doesn't work like that. If you clone a Pokemon, it's still the exact same Pokemon. So if your Clefairy keeps Cute Charm when it evolves, the clone ones will too.
