Gliscor or Swamp.

I'd go with Swampert because 4x weakness to Ice is just a deal-breaker. 4x Weakness to Grass..I can live with. Everyone and their mom has like 3 ice attacks on their team.
Good point, well then Swampy it is.

Just one more question involving this guy. Which attack would be better, Ice Punch or Avalanche? Personally I would go with Ice Punch but who's he going to outsped and/or survive that requires an Ice Punching?

Wich nature is better on Vileplume/Belossom? Timid or Modest?
And which IV's has to be 31?

thanks in advance,
~TM
Modest lets them reach 199 Speed, which is fine for Sunny Day in UU/NU. If for some strange reason you want to use them in OU, you can run Timid for 203 if you're paranoid about Heracross. Preferably, they have 30+ in Speed if you use Modest.

Buried on the last page, posting again.
Alright, so I SRed for a Bold Zapdos and this is what came out:

Zapdos - #145 (Bold)
HP: 30 - 31
Att: 16 - 17
Def: 30 - 31
SpA: 6 - 7
SpD: 22 - 23
Speed: 8 - 9

My planned moveset looks something like this:

Roost
T-Wave
Hidden Power (no clue what, but it's BP 63)/Toxic
Thunder/T-Bolt

Any suggestions? I'm particularly stuck on whether or not I should use Thunder over T-Bolt to make up for his crap-tastic Sp. Attack IV.

i want to make a warstory and i cant figure out how to make the pictures of the pokemon on each persons team. can someone please let me know how this can be done. thanks a lot

Vileplume:
sunny day,
Solar Beam/ EnergyBall/ Grass Knot,
sleep powder,
Sludge Bomb,

(The first movetset of the analyses without HiddenPower Fire)

So with this moveset I've to go with a Timid nature? Or should I get rid of Sunny Day?

Timid VP/Bell with SuD Active: 436 Speed,
Modest VP/Bell With SuD Active: 398 Speed

I'd personally go with Timid VP, but Modest if you go with Bellossom, she needs all the Sp.Atk she can get.

If I understand you correctly, you want the sprites?

If that's correct then use "Insert Image" on the HTML toolbar at the top, and insert the URL of the Image.

If I don't understand the question, please reiterate D:

Why wouldn't you be able to use Nasty Plot with Azelf? I use with great results, better than Expert Belt. I think it's also what's recommended in the Analysis.

I heard somewhere that it's too frail to have both LO and NP...If I do use LO and NP though, should I teach mine Grass Knot and Flamethrower like in the standard?

For the most part, you would try to Nasty Plot on a switch so I don't think frailty matters much. I run a Psychic, Nasty Plot, Grass Knot, Flamethrower and it works great, mostly because my team needs support in those areas. It really depends on what your team is afraid of and what you need to cover.

Again, it would probably be better to use a moveset to help your team more, but I don't see why those combinations wouldn't work, especially if it would be helpful.

Is thunderpunch a viable move on marowak?

Hasn't been answered. And no one answers questions that high up on the page DX

Also, are ghost type moves necessary if I already have a dark, bug, and fighting move on my team?

EDIT: Ok, a third question: Is there anything wrong with using the analysis sets almost dedicatedly instead of changing them up much? I'm trying to find ways to make original sets based off the analysis ones, but i can't see how I can improve them much.

If you use an adamant nature on choice scarf medicham, would it be necessary to use Hi Jump Kick or Brick Break.
It's highly debatable. Some people like Brick Break because of HJK's retarded drawback, but others say that Medicham's purpose is to do as much damage as possible, and so they use HJK. I personally use HJK on mine and i don't think the drawback is so bad.

I have a question directed at hail team users: What is the most effective Walrein moveset? I'm trying to make a hail team, and apparently Walrein is a big part of such a team but I don't know what to do with him. Sleep Talk, I suppose?

Walrein (♂) @ Leftovers
Ability: Ice Body
EVs: 220 HP/244 Def/46 Spd
Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Substitute
- Protect
- Roar
- Surf / Blizzard / Toxic

Is the standard Wallrein stall set for hail teams.Basicly once you get your sub up you're a unbreakable wall. The turn they would break your sub use Sub again, putting it back up and then the next turn use Protect(Leftovers + Ice body meens 12.5% of your health is returned every turn). It's recommended to also have a ghost pokemon on your team to switch in if they use one of the only things that can damage this; Choice Band Technician Triple Kick Hitmontop.

Is thunderpunch a viable move on marowak?

If you use thunderpunch, is it going over rockslide? That means that salamence (and dragonite) will be relatively safe. If you replace fire punch, any grass type or bronzong can take the hit. Another consideration is gyarados, which I ran some calcs for. You should pay more attention to the calcs with intimidate included, because you baton pass speed to marowak, right? (If not, how do you plan to sweep?) Well good luck using baton pass after gyara taunts you. That means that the gyarados you face will switch into you, meaning taunt is in effect.

Jolly Marowak @ thick club using rockslide on bulky gyarados with intimidate: 43.85% - 51.34%
Jolly Marowak @ thick club using rockslide on bulky gyarados without intimidate: 65.24% - 76.74%
Adamant Marowak @ thick club using rockslide on bulky gyarados with intimidate: 47.86% - 56.42%
Adamant Marowak @ thick club using rockslide on bulky gyarados without intimidate: 71.39% - 83.96%

Jolly Marowak @ thick club using thunderpunch on bulky gyarados with intimidate: 82.29% - 96.88%
Jolly Marowak @ thick club using thunderpunch on bulky gyarados without intimidate: OHKO
Adamant Marowak @ thick club using thunderpunch on bulky gyarados with intimidate: 90.10% - 105.99
Adamant Marowak @ thick club using thunderpunch on bulky gyarados without intimidate: OHKO

Remember that bulky gyara will have leftovers, so some 2HKOs may become 3HKOs.

Of course, this is all moot of you run a swords dance marowak, it always OHKOs gyarados. I’m not sure how you plan on getting off the swords dance though…

After all of this, I think the real consideration is the accuracy. Thunderpunch is 100% accurate, while rock slide is 90%. Marowak is too fragile to afford missing, so in the end I think that thunderpunch is superior, or at the very least viable.

For your other questions, ghost type attacks tend not to give good coverage. Only good against psychic and ghosts, I think.

The analysis sets are made in a vacuum. They tell you what a pokemon is capable of on their own. But your job is to make it fit in with your team. Make it fit a hole in your coverage by tweaking its EVs or moveset to your needs.

Now for my question: In the battle frontier in Emerald, to face the frontier brains you have to win a certain number of battles in a row to face them the first time (and win the silver symbol) and double that to face them a second time (and win a gold symbol). For example, in the battle factory you have to win 21 times before facing the boss the first time and 42 for the second. What happens if you lose the 30th battle in the battle factory? If you then win 21 battles in a row, will the boss show up again, or do you have to win 42 in a row? If he shows up after just 21 battles and you beat him again, will you get the gold medal?

ok i have a pamtre berry and i want to plant it but what kinda mulch should i be using to make it grow more faster???

and how long would it take to grow???

There's nothing wrong with such sycophantic devotion, but you should at least modify the EVs slightly to suit your team if you need to. If the sets fit well, then by all means go ahead and copy them.
