What's the chance of breeding a Magic Guard Cleffa in Diamond? Because it seems that 90% of all of my Cleffas are Cute Charm. >_>

lol, all 4 versions I transfered got Magic Guard plus I caught 3 on Diamond for a good nature and all were Magic Guard.

It's 50% BTW, same with all dual natures.

Kinda a weird question, but...I'm trying to get some legitly hacked pokemon; where would be a good place to ask? TLF died, I'm having no success on GFAQs, and I think I'd get modded if I asked here.

Is CharmBliss usable for those who don't want to use the Standard Special Wall set or the Calm Mind set?
Ice Beam
Light Screen
Charm
Softboiled
I don't like Charm Blissey, because it prevents you from using Seismic Toss (hooray illegal combinations...) and if you use Calm Mind, you're limited to one attack. The set you're proposing isn't particularly good, because while it might annoy a physical attacker, you lose against Raikou, Azelf, Porygon-Z, special attacking Jirachi, almost every Lucario, Infernape Nasty Plots on you with impunity... So yeah, that set gets beat by too many things.

I'm going to use my Ninjask as a Passer using Substitute, or at least one of them, anyway. The one I'll have first will have a 252 Attack/Speed spread because I'm doing that for a Shedinja, so it won't have much HP.

It'll cap off at 252 HP. 253 if I use those final EPs on HP. How does Substitute work? They always say "Make sure it's divisable by 4" when using Substitute, right? But if Substitute uses a quarter of HP, would using a 4th Substitute kill it or say it can't use it because it'd KO it? Would 253 be better, leaving it with one HP?

I have another Nincada that has more HP IVs; I may train that one later with max HP and speed or something, that way I'll have that small chance of have a free turn to Agility or Swords Dance to pass even more onward with Speed Boosts.

Anyway that's my question:
Should it be 252 or 253 HP to use Substitute? I'm confused on this, but now I REALLY want a Ninjask with Speed Boost cuz some of my Pokemon are slower, sadly, and in fact it would bring back one of mine from the grave. o.O; And turn it into a potential lethal weapon.

Or lethargic.

@Yoko

You have to win through the round 4 times in a row (ex. When you do the Battle Tower in the Frontier, you fight 7 trainers in a row. After you beat them, you get Battle Points. Beating those 7 trainers counts as a round)

@XtrEEmMaShEEn3k2

No.

How much damage on the first hit is necessary on a 140 BP -2 Sp. Atk move like Draco Meteor to guarantee a 2HKO, counting leftovers?

(100%-[First hit]+6.25%-[second hit]=0%)

-2 stat is basically halving your stat. So you end up doing around about half the damage on the second hit. Which means you would need to do 2/3 of the damage on the first hit and 1/3 of the damage on the second hit to guarantee a 2hko. Factoring in leftovers, it comes to to around 71% for the first hit.

Anyway that's my question:

Depends whether it has leftovers or not. Assuming it's gonna have something like a liechi berry, then I would have to suggest 252HP (that is the actual HP you're saying right? not the EVs?).

Basically when your HP is divisible by 4, you can only make 3 substitutes assuming no lefties. Once you are down to 25%, your berry will activate and it will say your sub has failed if you try to make another one.

If your HP is 1 more than a multiple of 4, then you will be able to make 4 subs. When you are at 25%, you can sub again and you would be on 1 HP. But in this case, the berry would not activate at 25% but after the 4th sub at 1 HP.

I think therefore it's preferable to have your HP divisible by 4. You get 1 less sub in but your berry activates earlier and ensures that you're not on 1 HP when your berry finally activates and you end up dying to sandstorm before you can even baton pass it.

One EP does not = 1 stat point. Do an IV battle and see what your current HP is with your IVs, then I can tell you how to make it divisible by 4.

I did last night. It's HP total IS 252.

If I use the last 4 EPs in HP, it will have 253 in HP.

Now, does that make sense? ^_^; I didn't realize it's actual HP came out to be 252 or I would've noted before.

Kind of a weird question, but where is somewhere where I could recieve free customized, hacked pokemen. (i.e SlakingMaster's old thread, which he closed)

To hack event items (like tickets etc) which GBA AR am I looking for?

Action Replay for GBA/SP

or

Ultimate Codes for Pokémon for GBA

Which one is generally better to make the best out of GBA Pokemon games?

And number two, what do you guys think should be my first bred monster? What should I try out for?

No idea about the ARs, but... what about breeding for...

Well, it depends of the parents you have available, both the pokés you caught (Dittos, Smeargles) and the pokémon you got trading your legends. But as I don't know what do you have, the best would be breeding for a sweeper who doesn't care a lot about its defenses, and does not need a specific Hidden Power. Medicham?

Starman: I believe so. Not weak (actually, resistant, due to Think Fat) to Ice, good Sp. Defense (although it could be better), fast, has a good recovery move (even Delibird, who is part-flying, doesn't have it...) and has a wide movepool.

pirate0: Oops, forgot Starmie. Yeah, it's the only one.

Yoko: It gets Psycho Cut and Bullet Punch (only the Cut is useful, IMO) as D/P Egg Moves. However, you can't get Fake Out and Psycho Cut (both are Egg Moves) at the same time.

I read it, Psycho Cut seems best. So what IV's would be good for a good Medicham? I know this is my first project, but I want it to be great!
