I'd reject Careful if only because bulky Manaphy would still want to use some attacks and -Spec Att combined with a minuscule physical movepool isn't so hot.

My question: Anyone know the yield rates for berries? As in, how many berries I get back if I plant a berry and water it once per stage?

What determines how much XP a pokemon in daycare gets? Is it steps taken or something else?
I actually ran a test on that once. 1 Step = 1 exp.

I'd reject Careful if only because bulky Manaphy would still want to use some attacks and -Spec Att combined with a minuscule physical movepool isn't so hot. Isn't the point of bulky stuff like that to TAKE hits, not dish them out?

Look in here, I guess
Only other bulky Manaphy I could find:
dpmfa490.png

Manaphy - Bold (Def+, Atk-)
29 / 25 / 29 / 30 / 30 / 31 ncsbert's

Manaphy - Careful (+Sp.Def -Sp.Atk)
31 / 0 - 1 / 30 - 31 / 24 - 25 / 22 - 23 / 16 - 17 Mine

So far, mine looks like the second best to me. Thread-worthy? I don't think anything's going to beat that other one.

Primarily, yes it's supposed to take hits but you probably should be able to do some damage. Though after looking at its movepool again, I guess you could run something like U-Turn, Waterfall, plus two support moves. Problem is, it doesn't even learn SR. So choose between Light Screen, Reflect, Safeguard, Hail, and Rain Dance.

EDIT: Awesome, thanks, Jiggy Ninja!

Attempt to make it physical and support? With a potential zero in Attack? It's Special Attack would probably be higher than its Attack even after factoring in the nature. As for moveset, I'm thinking some sort of Toxistalling with Hydrorest support, but that's just me.

Thread-worthy? As I said, there don't seem to be a lot of the little guys around here.

Anyone else have an opinion on my Manaphy?

EDIT: Narrowed down IVs:
Careful #490 Manaphy: 31 / 0 / 30 / 24 / 22 / 16

If you invest in zero Att/Spec Att EVs, you end up with 205 Att or 206 Spec Att @ level 100.

If you max out Att or Spec Att, you end up with either 268 Att or 262 Spec Att @ level 100.

I didn't see the 0 Att IV before, so I guess it doesn't matter which way you swing with that Manaphy. =p

Hmm, I have something bulky with practically no offensive potential. Sounds like my Giratina.

Would my Manaphy be thread-worthy? Or maybe even giveaway worthy? (Doubting it, would be nice if it was.)

Anyone know how many infractions have to expire till I get my sig and avatar back?
Depends on how many points you have :P I think you need three or less total. I could be mistaken though. Find Mekkahs sig there's a link in there.

Okay in regards to pokemon characteristics, I know it dictates what the highest IV is. But I am really in the dark about what happens when there are multiple 31 ivs. For example if a poke has 31 atk and 31 speed, will it always say "like to thrash about" because the attack happens to be listed first, or is it randomly decided between "like to trash about" and "alert to sounds"?

Randomly decided.

Asking yet again:

Careful #490 Manaphy: 31 / 0 / 30 / 24 / 22 / 16

Thread-worthy? Giveaway worthy? I'd love to do a giveaway of it but

A. There's people who don't like giveaways for whatever reason, and
B. It'd suck if I started one and only like five people want it.

Where can I find a list of all Pokemon learning noteworthy Emerald Tutor Moves?

I remember there was a thread of it somewhere, but I can't find it anymore...

Personally, I use Veekun.com for my pokedex needs, as it shows all the move tutor moves from last gen

Yes, but I want to have a list where I can see if there is a Pokemon I want to breed in Emerald just because it has a Tutor Move. So I want to compare them with each other...

The movedex on veekun has a list of all the pokemon that learn the move.

Is it the same odds to get all zero's as all 31's.

In theory, yes

In actuallity, no
Most people don't use any pokemon with 0 IVs when breeding and use 31s, so all 31s should be more common when breeding

when finding wild pokemon however, they are equally likely

In Pokemon Firered/Leafgreen, you can teach a Pokemon Counter through a Move Tutor. In this case, my friend says he taught his Blastoise Counter. However, when I battled him, said Blastoise also knew Aqua Ring, a move that is breedable ONLY in D/P. Is this moveset illegal, the Aqua Ring/Counter Blastoise? Or am I overseeing Counter as a breedable move in D/P also?

PS: This is a moveset question, so is this the right place to ask this kind of question? Or should I go to Ask a Simple Question, Get a Simple Answer?

Blastoise only gets Counter from 3rd Gen and Aqua Ring from breeding in the 4th Gen. So, it's a hacked pokemon.

And this IS Ask a Simple Question, this is the right place to ask that question.
