Because roserade can get spikes through the cacnea family and sleep powder through one of the many other grass families, but not both at the same time.

I NEVER actually used a ditto in combat but, if a ditto transforms does it get the opponents stats aswell as their moves? Does it revert back to ditto when returned?

No. You can breed DD onto a dratini in gen 3 and use the emerald tutor, or use the emerald tutor, import and heart scale.

Eventually they will. They reduce it to 100 if it's over 110 or by 10 if it's not.
