@Shiny: The only way is to get one in a trade or get one from Mirage Island in Emerald (super rare).

@Yoko: The loading screen or the animation?

@ articuno, I just want a screen shot of the picture that comes up after the loading screen. I never saw it, just want to see how it looks.

I've read up on PBR so I just have one more question. Is the game dependant on your poke's levels? ie. Is the wi-fi function of the game like in D/P where your pokes are all level 100. Thanks.

At the risk of sounding noobish...

If I breed a female pokemon with a ditto and give the ditto an everstone, will I still have a 50% chance that the offspring will be the nature of the ditto?

@ Supreme, not noobish at all, I was asking that question myself recently lol =D

Yes, you place the Everstone on the female parent to have a 50% chance of getting the nature passed down. If you're breeding a Ditto and a male, you put the Everstone on the Ditto. If you're breeding a Ditto and a female, you still put the Everstone on the Ditto. If you need any more information, ask.

But from what you said, if I breed a female and a ditto, I would put the stone on the female to get a 50% chance of a nature, right? @_@;

Um, from what i'm interpreting from your question, no PBR just like automatically curves your levels depending on the mode you choose.

The first round of all colosseums will be Lv. 30 OPEN, which means if you haev a Lv. 56 and the rest are at Lv. 44, that's what they will be.

After you beat round 1 of the colosseum, the Lv. 50 ALL mode comes up and you can use that forever. It pretty much just curves every Pokemon's levels to 50.

Does that answer your question?

Also, Wi-Fi is always Lv 50 ALL.

I've heard rumors that it's illegal for Breloom to have Thunderpunch and the Poison Heal ability together. Is this true?

Ok, I think I get what you are saying. Basically, if you are in level 50 mode, all of your pokes will be level 50 in battle. Correct?

I'm just making sure I'm ready for the game. I plan on getting it tommorrow so I want to make sure its worthwhile :)

Apologizing for bringing this question up again but, what EV spread should I give my friend to EV my Weavile?

252 attack/252 speed/6 HP

or

252 attack/216 speed/40 HP

Need experienced advice please. If you need to know its IV's, I'll list them.

It's because Thunderpunch is a Emerald tutor and Poison Heal wasn't around back then, nor does the Pal Park thing work because the Shroomish would have already evolved in order to learn Thunderpunch.

@ Supreme: Listen carefully.

Yes, you place the Everstone on the female parent to have a 50% chance of getting the nature passed down.
Yoko means this as if you were breeding a male Pokemon and a female Pokemon.

If you're breeding a Ditto and a male, you put the Everstone on the Ditto.
Should be self-explanitory; no females involved, so the Everstone goes to the Ditto.

If you're breeding a Ditto and a female, you still put the Everstone on the Ditto.

Does it make more sense now? If it's a female and a Ditto, instead put the Everstone on the Ditto. So in a way, this is all you needed to know.

And lol sorry Yoko. ^_^; I understood what you meant but I also understand how it could've been confusing.

40 in HP is real Useless because like Infernape, it's Very Fragile IMO.

Thanks for clarifying for him ShinyElite =D

Venom I heard 40 HP helps him survive an unboosted Azelf Flamethrower. Anyone else help?

Lol dude don't breed with Japanese Pokemon, I've heard issues arise when using them.

Anyone answer my Weavile related question? Also can someone give me a link to a good Damage Calc? I want it to give me results in percent, not in HP.

well, according to the analysis

349 Special Attack Azelf does 80–94% to Weavile and he even has a slim chance of surviving if Azelf has Expert Belt (96–100%). Weavile with 40 HP EVs also survives a Surf from Modest Choice Specs Starmie.

i ran all 3 of these calculations also, in case anyone is suspicious of these for some reason. as a note, an expert belt azelf @ 349 SpA does 96-113%, if that was misleading.

this is a good excel damage calc that also has a few more in-game purposes.

there are also some damage calcs in this thread: http://www.smogon.com/forums/showthread.php?t=16121

i can certify that both mIRC calcs give percents, and misty's has hp as well.

i have a question myself, what are all of the "magic" stat numbers? an example is the 383 -> 385 boost. anything on this is appreciated.

Thanks for answering my question. But since speed is somewhat of an issue (Swellow, other Weavile, etc), should I remove some attack EV's and put them into speed?

"Magic" stat numbers? Hmm...try clarifying on this, and I'll try my best to help.

Are these Parents good enough to start breeding swicharoo Bunnies?

Buneary parent: 27 / 20 / 21 / 21 / 29 / 29

Smergle Parent: 31 / 31 / 15 / 22 / 0 / 31

ok i got an AR today and ive had nothing but trouble, i got to put pokes in my party and on all 6 slots theres these huge question marks behind it. Its annoying because i cant put pokes in my party

the problem with maxing speed with pokemon like weavile is that at best it's a guessing game. they could be scarf'd, have max speed as well as you, have the proposed amount of speed in the analysis, or otherwise. as long as no pokemon that you're concerned of below the 125 speed tier isn't beating you, then that's the bar minimum speed it should have. generally, the speed in the analysis is passable, but if you want to at worst tie with other weaviles and swellows, then by all means do so.

what i mean by magic speed numbers is that sometimes with evs there's a number that's impossible to obtain because of how the stat formula is set up, at least by using evs. for example, starmie can hit a speed anywhere between 239 and 361. however, starmie can't hit 351 because of how the stat formula is spread out. if it were to use the evs that would ordinarily hit 351, it'd hit 352, essentially using 4 evs where 8 evs would usually do the same job.

i want them so i can make precise ev spreads, instead of making a spread and then having to change it because i got a magic stat number. it's just a helpful thing to have lying around.

if anyone knows what all of them are, that'd be very helpful.

@ Suprememuffin, definitely. Go for it.

@ Fland, I can't answer your question, but gratz on your AR, the car is still broken T_T

EDIT: Fland, lets hope you didn't screw up your game on the very first day of owning the AR <.<

@ Mode H, so how much attack should I sacrifice on Weavile?

And most importantly, for your question, I still really don't understand. Are you trying to say that you don't want to unnecessarily waste EV's in places that they would do no benefit? Sorry if I didn't understand.
