What would happen if a pokemon, e.g. Froslass used Block on a switching pokemon, e.g. Blissey? I know switching has +6 priority, but does Block override that? Because then I would have a definite Blissey killer and free Spikes setup:

Froslass@Expert Belt
252 att, 252 spd, 6 hp
Jolly
-Wake-up Slap
-Spikes
-Block
-Taunt

Switches in on a Blissey ST/AT, Blocks, Taunts, and proceeds to set up free Spikes and raping it in the end while Blissey does shit to it, unless it has FT of course.

@ Suprememuffin, definitely. Go for it.

@ Fland, I can't answer your question, but gratz on your AR, the car is still broken T_T

EDIT: Fland, lets hope you didn't screw up your game on the very first day of owning the AR <.<

@ Mode H, so how much attack should I sacrifice on Weavile?

And most importantly, for your question, I still really don't understand. Are you trying to say that you don't want to unnecessarily waste EV's in places that they would do no benefit? Sorry if I didn't understand.

right, i don't want to waste evs when i make movesets, so knowing the magic stat numbers would be great.

What's the point of giving BandCross 152 EVs in Speed?

that's because 152 evs gives it 244 speed, which lets it beat adamant tyranitar. you can add more depending on your needs, but that's the minimum it should have, unless you want it to be slower than adamant tar.

Mode H, well as long as the number is divisible by 4. Like for example, a Weavile with 252 attack, 252 speed, 6 HP isn't really benefiting fully from the 6 HP. Its "real" spread is 252/252/4, since the 6 doesn't really help it.

Though I still don't understand the magic number thing, keep asking 'till someone more knowing than me answers you.

Heres a shoutout to FDS! HES SUCH A GREAT GUY!WHEN MY GAME LITERALLY CRAPPED OUT HE SPENT HIS OWN time to help me! THANKYOU SO MUCH

I'm planning a Battle Tower team and the star is SpecsLatios since Soul Dew doesn't work there. Heatran seems to complement Latios really well (Latios resists water and fighting, is immune to ground), but the problem is that I can't Specs him since Latios is already holding it. I was going to Scarf it, but someone else suggested Wise Glasses, and I thought, Expert Belt could work too. So. Can someone help me pick the item to hold?

Instead of usingLatios, why not use Celebi and Leftovers? Heatran and Celebi covers each others weakness really well.

I haven't tried it yet, but I'm pretty sure Celebi is banned, becuase I knew that Mew and Jirachi (part of the 100-BST club) are also banned.

Lefties recover rounds down, right, so an HP of 399 recovers the same as 384?

Also, can someone clarify the boost from Wide Lens? I've heard numbers thrown around all over the place including flat +10, proportional +10, etc.

Why is there no mention of the, pretty straightforward, Mind Reader + Sheer Cold + Ice Shard (in case of focus sash) combo for Articuno in botht he RS and DP analysis's. It couldn't possibly be banned could it?

Why is OHKO classs Banned so lame isn't it?

Sturdy ability have all forgot?
SKarmory, Magnezone and Forretress all OU so why not cancel OHKO class?

Only switch if someone do Mean Reader 30% change to hit without it.
You can see many sturdy Pokemon around aslo more than this i picked up.
Theys ability cant be so useless then.

Because a lot of people don't just use OU, and OKHO moves can be exxtremely cheap, if coupled with Scope Lens.

scope lens doesn't help the accuracy it increases the chances for a crit but seeing as it's a ohko move no point in hoping for a crit. I think you were referring to wide lens but 10% acc increase isn't enough....

@Spiderweb: Those who rely on ohko moves are the noobs besides not everyone carry pokemon with the sturdy ability I mean all magnezone run Magnet Pull it's a much better ability and a couple run Keen Eye on Skarm seeing as Sturdy won't be doing anything with the ohko ban. I think it's just right they put a ban on such moves since it's basically luck(and competitive battling is centered on skill).

Oh btw I don't like how you call other's noobs just because they don't share the same opinion with you it's very immature thanks for taking the time to read my post :D

Mystic Water, Sea Incense, Splash Plate & Wave Incense all boost water attacks by 20%? Is that correct? It says so on this website but I'm not sure if that's a typo or not since other places say each give different boosts.

Bulbapedia and Serebii say they do less, like Sea Incense does 5%??
