could be a typo SpecsMence doesn't use it's atk stat so it wouldn't matter if it were 0 or 31, I'm not too sure though...

I think typo, Otherwise every poke that didn't use it's Atk/SpA would have 0 IV listed... That field is generally used for Trick room pokes.

Where do you pick items on shoddy? I'm building a new team and there doesn't seem to be any place to pick what to equip.

Bottom left, under ability.

EDIT: Really? you downloaded it off the shoddy site? iirc the early version had no items.

Actually, Pokémon hit themselves for more damage if their attack stats are higher. Therefore, it's reasonable that a low attack stat would be just barely desirable over a high one on SpecsMence.

EDIT: Under Confusion.

True, but this still seems out of place in the articles. Pokemon who have decent attack stats but are running a special set do not recieve similar treatment (eg Specs dragonite, Nasty plot Infernape).

Does anyone think people will play under this new battling concept im thinking of implying with my battles: You are allowed ONE pokemon from the Uber tier on your team EXCEPT Arceus, Darkrai, Wobbuffet

Thank you.

Wouldn't work. The whole thing would be based on stopping the opponenet's uber. And I bet you that would lead to things like a mass Kyogre takeover.

Anyways, I have a question of my own. How does the WFC trading method work in which you deposit one of your Pokemon that only evolves by trade, and then you take it out and it evolves?
I put my Haunter in and took it out, and it didn't evolve when I took it back...

It's not that hard to take down one uber on a team of 5 OU, of course there would be influx of certain pokemon, maybe lugia could be restricted as well, leaving it to basic sweeping ubers, the only reason im thinkin about it is because i hate not being able to use some of my fav pokes, which lie in the uber tier, while still keeping it fair by banning arceus, darkrai, wobb, it COULD work not as a new extended tier but just an option for people i battle?

Why is Darkrai banned on your list?

I wanted to ban Arceus and Darkrai for the reasons that they havent been released in more than one country yet, and in Arceus' case, none. This idea is more applied to wifi battles not shoddy or anyother simulator. I guess you can think of these as just "house rules".

You put the poke you want to evolve, (holding any item which is required) up for trade, asking for something impossible/unlikley. Then do an unrelated trade (eg a bidoof for a palkia). when you retrive your poke it will evolve. Simple!

Where can I find a liechi berry?

They could all feasibly have 0 attack IVs as well. You have to remember that more than one person wrote these articles so it's all about personal preference. In a battle, odds are that difference will never help you win a battle but it has the potential. I remember during the GSC era that it was common practice to drop any special attacker's attack down for less confusion damage. That's why all special attackers were usually female and all physicals were usually male (any attack IV below 8 made a pokemon female in GSC).

Like the pattern. I'm trying to memerize the pattern of hp fire so i don't have to punc hall these numbers in when I'm catching Shaymin. =P.

Yeah, Its actually pretty helpful...

Lets you know if you should trash a pokemon or not quicker then using Rare candies and all of that
