Hello, Smogon:

I want to EV train some pokes. Do they get full EVs if they are holding an EXP Share and another poke battles? Do they get full EVs if they are in the lead but another poke switches in? Can multiple pokes be EV trained by holding EV shares at once? Thanks in advance.

What makes FWG such a good defensive core?

They cover each other's weaknesses, so you can have a reliable switch-in when you're facing a type-advantage threat. For example, you have a Grass-type active, and you know your opponent's about to use a fire move. You can switch out to your Water OR Fire type Pokemon to resist the hit. Having two options for a switch makes it a very useful defensive core to have.

Are there any good ways of harvesting gems (the 1.5x one turn boost items)? I don't have wifi right now, so if there's an efficient method of acquiring them, I'd love to hear it.

Buy 100 Super Repels and ride through the caves. There are Gems in Dust Clouds. Evolution stones, Drilburs and Excadrills as well.

I tried to research online for an answer, but came up with nothing.

Question:
Does the move Psych Up copy and overwrite any/all/none of the user's previous boosts? (Would appreciate if answers were not "guesses".)

Example:

Your Pokemon raises its Attack stat by (+2) and Speed by (+1), but already has a decrease in Def and Sp.Def of (-1 and -1).
Your Pokemon uses Psych Up on an Opponent that has an Attack boost of (+1).

What would your Pokemon's final total boosts be?
(+1 Attack only?)(Copies Opponent's stat changes and overwrites own stat changes)
(+3 attack, +1 Speed, -1 Def, -1 Sp.Def?)(Adds/Subtracts Opponent's stat changes to own stat changes)
(Stays at +2 Attack, +1 Speed, -1 Def, -1 Sp.Def?)(Does nothing if Opponent's changes are of lesser degrees)
(+3 Attack only?)(Copies Opponent's stat changes and overwrites own stat changes, except for stat being affected)
(Something else?)

Psych Up copies the stat changes from your opponent to you. As said it COPIES the boosts, it doesn't stack them onto your own boosts.

So hypothetically, if you had terrible drops in your stats (like -6 Sp.Atk from overusing Draco Meteor), could you Psych Up to get those back to a neutral 0 if the opponent has no boosts?

Again, past experience would be appreciated. Looking for a quick answer so I can finish up for preparing for the Wifi Tournament Event.

No.
It copies the stat changes, where as +0 isn't considered a stat change.

(Hopefully Final Question)
Okay, so then edit that, if the opponent had a +1 Attack, and you had a -6 Sp.Atk and used Psych Up,

You would Copy the opponent's +1 Attack, meaning you lose the -6 Sp.Atk and gain a +1 Attack?

(Sorry for this small chain of questions. Thanks for your help, btw. Really appreciate it.)

I believe that's how it works, yes.

edit:

SevenDeadlySins: you get +1 atk
[3:45pm] SoT: thought so
[3:45pm] SevenDeadlySins: that's why psych up + overheat is a fun gimmick
[3:45pm] joshe: and -6 spa?
[3:45pm] SevenDeadlySins: no
[3:45pm] joshe: oh
[3:45pm] SevenDeadlySins: and 0 spa

which would answer your other question i think as well

say player A had a Drought Ninetales and it got KOed, and player B sent out another (non-weather-inducing) Pokemon and used Sunny Day - what would happen? would the sun now last only 5 turns?

From Bulbapedia:
When this move is used the sunlight will brighten on the field. This effect will last for 5 turns. This clears any other weather effect.

If it was Sandstorm or anything else besides Sun, the preexisting effect would be removed and replaced with 5 turns of Sun. However, with Sun already present, it would fall due the game treating it as Sunny Day, thus it already being in effect.
Edit:...ninjask'd once again....

Using the move Sunny Day would fail because the sun is already shining. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Yes, as a curiosity I think in GSC, using Sunny Day in sunshine reset the counter, so, when it's the turn 3 of Sunny day, if used Sunny Day, lasts 5 turns again, so 8 turns in total.

So will there be any more suspect tests for the BW metagame, or is it just over?
There are still going to be suspect tests; the voters themselves will probably change though. The process of acquiring voting rights based on ladder ranking will probably disappear.
