Dude, I swear that was a woman. Unless we are talking about two different ones, but it was definitely of the female gender.

I personally decided not to bring this shirt along:

Nah, it's a funny shirt but I wouldn't want to wear it in an area with a bunch of kids. Otherwise it comes off as just "lol drugs funny lol" and that's not the message I want to send!

And the shirt I wore was sort of mandated anyway. quack quack

Boomguy, the shirt is sold out now but maybe it'll come back if there's enough demand? Google Threadless Magic Mushrooms

Question

X gives Y a Weedle. Y uses AR to clone the Weedle and returns the original to X. Could X use that original Weedle undetectably in tournament play?

You can used cloned pokemon in the VGC. Don't worry about using cloned pokemon. I used MattJ's cloned Palkia and got the other pokemon I used cloned before the VGC, don't worry about that.

Is the Eevee WonderCard only for HG/SS, or will it work with D/P/Pt as well?

BTW, Love the shirt, Firestorm! It reminds me of the Robot Chicken skit where Mario and Luigi go to Vice City. If you haven't seen it, you should really check it out... it's hilarious!

Theoretical Question:

Okay. So I have this Shedinja. It inherited a couple HP EVs from the Nincada it was evolved from. Unfortunately, Pomeg Berries, for some explicit reason, don't affect Shedinja whatsoever in reducing base HP or increasing happiness.

If I were to reduce its HP EV total to 0 using AR or a similar cheating device, is that kind of tampering detectable in official tournament play?

if pomegs don't work on it, it doesn't have HP EVs

if pomegs don't work on it, it doesn't have HP EVs

It has them, because the Ninjask it branched from has them as well.

Also, when attempting to use a Pomeg on it, it states the message, "It won't have any effect." instead of saying, "Shedinja became more friendly. Its base HP can't go lower."

They might have been wiped upon evolution, seeing as how Shedinja can never have more than 1 HP anyway.

If you're still around, we could start a wi-fi trade session and I could examine your Pokemon with an EV check action replay code. You don't even have to actually trade it over for me to see its data.

i'm extremely knew to VGC style competitive gameplay. I was wondering where I can go to learn stratagies, get movesets and builds, and just basically anything to help me start off at so I can learn how to compete and hopefully be able to compete for next years VGC.

What level is your Shedinja? If it doesn't have max happiness, the Pomeg Berry wouldn't lower its HP but it would raise its happiness. You can reset its happiness by trading it.

I'm not sure but I think this is what happened to your Shedinja. It gained HP EVs when it was a Nincada and when it evolved, it kept them (I'm pretty sure it keeps all of its EVs and IVs that Nincada had). Gamefreak made it so you couldn't use a Pomeg Berry on it and Glitch it so that it has either 0 max HP or 65535 max HP (like the Pomeg Glitch in Emerald).
