I actually tried that today, and it doesn't work with HG/SS. Nintendo changed the infrastructure so it won't work.

For a Choice Specs Kyogre, would a Timid or Modest nature be best?
It's not a TR Kyogre. 252 SpAtk/252 Speed. Does it need the extra power from Modest or the extra speed from Timid?
EDIT: And I ask this because I've been looking for a Modest Kyogre around here and no one seems to have one, so I figured if Timid would be fine, too, I'd just go with that.

Well I think Thunder 2HKO's other Kyogres either way, so Timid would give you a chance to outspeed them.

sounds like a oxymoron. you cannot give evs at level 100 bar vitamins as far as i know.
but of course when the pokemon is fully eved until level 100 whole evs are transfered at leel 50..its like using netbattle and make the level 100 pokemon down to level 50.

I never played VGC... but, what I can tell from a warstory they're not timed.
Attacks? like Rhyperior does not get Rock wrecker until after 50. Most legendary pokemon do not get new attacks until very high levels as well.

It helps everyone. Obviously everyone would like their Pokemon's attacks to get a boost.
However, unless you are truly concerned with Kyogre's killing power (which you shouldn't), I wouldn't be worried. Kyogre is always a threat in pretty much every situation.
If you are going out of your way to get Kyogre a Helping Hand, I wouldn't personally recommend it.

yes they have them at each stop because they had them in seattle and phoenix but they are very pricey, its better to go somewhere else
what he said. kyogre doesnt need helping hand, its an insult really to him :). just playing but seriously if you are going out of your way to give him helping hand its not worth it
