On Pokemon showdown, if my initial strategy wont work, my top crime boss gets beaten or my team is doing terribly, i rage quit. And i want it to stop, i`m not like most people, who rage quit for a reason. If i rage quit, i RAGE quit. i get angry etc.
So, have you guys got anything on stopping me from rage quitting, heck, tell me tips to be happy about a battle, anything. I just want to stop rage quitting!

There's no need for you to get angry. I've lost many battles, but I just shrug it off, because it isn't the end of the world! Like I said, it's all part of a learning process and you should be learning from your mistakes, rather than getting angry or worked up. laddering is also not the primary way to get better at competitive battling. Battling 101 is a tutoring programme; a new round starts every 4 weeks, so I advise you to sign up for the tier you want to improve at.Thanks for the tips, instead of announcing my anger, i just say it in RL and stop myself from announcing anger. I also have improved my team by adding a fairy type to defeat those pesky darkrai`s and dragon types. I`m going to post my team on the `rate my team` forum section!
If you have a suggestion about Pokemon Showdown!, post it in this thread.Am I allowed to post a thread in Pokemon Showdown! about /DT and /Data shortening suggestions and why we should shorten them?
Or does that already exist and I'm not a part of it?
This is a really late reply, but you can read about exactly what causes the endless battle message to come up here: http://www.smogon.com/forums/threads/3544604/page-3#post-6338547When exactly does the game warn us about endless loops?
I (kmph) got this warning here, turn 83:
http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/seasonalsuperstaffbrosmelee-354304062
According to the game I was in an endless loop. But this wasn't really endless - while I could heal all damage thrown at me, the opponent's pp was slowly but surely declining and as soon as they were locked down to Struggle I won (on turn 101).
In this particular situation, could the game kick me off and make me loose for endless looping?
I'm just asking because I don't really wanna loose for unintentionally triggering this warning again... ;P And I don't really understand why I got this warning here.
EDIT: I found this post, Ask A Simple Question, Get A Simple Answer - PS! Edition (please read before posting a thread) , I suppose this answer still applies?
Its a 60% flinch chance, so you just got pretty lucky and avoided the flinches. Can I ask something?
I'm kinda new :)
Because of a Serene Grace flinch team in AnythingGoes that I encountered a little bit ago
Shaymin-Sky(Serene Grace) tries to flinch my Clefable (Magic Guard-equipped)
And my Clefable doesn't flinch.
Not even once.
I tried Googling about the ability Magic Guard, but it doesn't say it prevents flinching...
Anyone know?
When you do the command "/ms Smeargle", why does the moves "Captivate, False Swipe, Mean Look, Odor Sleuth, Sketch, Sleep Talk and Spore" pop up, but nothing else?
There are no plans to adapt those rules afaik. When playing Pokemon on cardridge online, there is a fixed Time Limit for preforming a turn (1 minute) and a fixed Time Limit for the entire game (1 hour)
Is Pokémon Showdown considering on implementing something similar in the future?
This could make games shorter giving people an easier time to find a battle, some people might want to take advantage of it as a win condition like in the actual cardridge experience, unknown endless battle conditions won't last for too many turns and maybe some people don't have to worry getting insulted when using the Timer or not.

Before I begin, I'm sort of new here and pre-apologize if I'm posting a question like this in the wrong place.
I downloaded Pokemon Showdown onto my computer, and, for some reason, music doesn't play during the battles even when audio is un-muted or at a setting above 0. Is there a way to fix this, or is it just a "beta is beta is beta" thing?
