Would it be a good idea to have more than one defog user if I'm using shedinja?
as a somewhat experienced user of shedinja, and having peaked #1 using a shedinja team 3 times now, ive recently gotten into the habit of running 2 or more defoggers in my teams. any experienced player will work super hard to find your defogger, and then set up rocks and go into a counter in order to keep you from defogging. (my one team which got me to #1, actually used 3 defoggers, and i cant tell you how many times people lost because they thought i only had 1 defogger and thus failed to keep up with my offensive pressure) having 2 or more defoggers is good also because it gives you more leeway. say, someone uses sr and then switches into..idk... kyurem w just work with me here. sure, your gira cant defog now, and you lose the game due to being outplayed. but low and behold...you actually have a prankster pokemon(you have groudon, which tbh, is kinda a terrible choice given your other defensive wall is gira whom cant handle kyurem w etc,a sudgestion from me would to be try mega aggron/registeel as your bouncer or prankster user, either or or stay with groudon, it doesnt really matter much lol) who can defog before it goes down, thus giving you a free switch into shedinja, and you can do your shednanigans (see wut i did thur).
and if your interested, i had a offensive(contrary) defogger to bounce evasion if people for some reason keep their bouncer in, and also gave me a good chance of defogging if i predict chansey switching in. i had a prankster xern who could get off a defog before dbonding pokes to death, then i had mega aggron to sponge physical hits and get off defogs. more then one defog user, usually means people have a harder time keeping rocks onto the feild reliably, and thus puts pressure on your opponent. sure, rocks aren't all that common, but losing just because ONE person decided to set up sr, and then proceed to use offensive pokemon, isnt the type of loss id like for my teams imo. the ONLY teams ive lost too, were ones with mold breaker sweepers due to a misprediction on my part since they knew my team so well, they switched in their mold breakers on the ONE time i felt comfortable going into it(im rather good with predicting lol, i know when people go into mold breakers lol). which is why i stopped using it. lol. because everyone knew its gameplan.
edit: i also realised that last line sounded kinda cocky. so yeah, sorry if it sounded cocky :P
Shedinja is an unreliable counter in general. Don't count on it. And if it's walled by Shedinja, what's your answer to opposing Shedinjas? I'd say put Spooky Plate Judgment on Gira, as having Draco Meteor lets Chansey kill you faster.
also...this...thisthis this this this this! i made a shedinja post explaining how to use shedinja a while back, and i made it LAW that if you are going to use shedinja, DONT use it as a wall, enless you have godlike prediction skills/defog on every corner (which imo, isnt even that bad). because mold breaker pursuit is a thing, and enless you know how to get around it, its better to just get a pokemon to wall your poke so shedinja doesnt become a liability.
lastly, for your gira...having imposter walled by your gira is kinda a stupid play tbh, i mean, most teams have a few answers to gira, so having a "imposterproof" wall, let alone one weak to knock off, is kind of a terrible idea. run dragon tail, or knock off of your own, and give it leftovers or something, so you can knock off their eviolite, or prevent them from using it as setup fodder.dtail isnt that strong of a move, so even gira can take a couple of them before biting the dust. so those are my reccomendations, its up to you if you want to take them or not.
