Special Rule: No trainer can use any pokemon that is above Battle Tree Rank 3. A pokemon cannot equip it's Mega Stone if it's mega forme is above Rank 3 or any item that would change it's forme to be above Rank 3. A pokemon equipped with a Z-Crystal is considered 1 Rank higher than it's normal Battle Tree Rank.

I wanna ref on my phone, so let's try this.
Rule Changes
  • Once a Pokemon successfully performs an attack, it cannot attempt a move of that same Type for the rest of the Round (unless it is forced to).
  • Pokemon cannot gain or lose HP or EN.
  • Critical Hits cannot occur.
Health Tokens
  • At start of battle, each Pokemon has six (6) Health Tokens (HT).
  • When a Pokemon runs out of HT, it faints.
  • A Pokemon loses one (1) HT if it would be dealt direct damage by a foe's Damaging (Physical or Special) Attack.
  • Super-Effective attacks that match a user's original Type remove one (1) additional HT.
  • Combinations of two Damaging Attacks remove one (1) additional HT.
Aggression and Deflection
  • A Pokemon's "Aggression" stat is the sum of its Atk boosts and SpA boosts.
  • A Pokemon's "Deflection" stat is the sum of its Def boosts and SpD boosts.
  • While the attacker's Aggression is greater than the target's Deflection, Damaging Attacks that would remove two (2) or more HT remove one (1) additional HT.
  • While an attacker's Aggression is less than the target's Deflection, Damaging Attacks remove one (1) fewer HT (min. 1).
Move Changes
  • Struggle has no effect.
  • P/E moves will fail if used more than once in a Round.
  • Substitute costs two (2) HT and creates a doll with two (2) HT.
  • Counter, Mirror Coat, Metal Burst, and Bide remove a flat number of Tokens equal to [HT lost * 1.5], rounded up.
    • These moves cannot strike Super-Effectively.
    • In a Combination with another Damaging Move, they will get the 1 HT combo bonus.
  • Draining Moves and Combinations (Drain Punch, Leech Life, Draining Kiss, etc) heal the user for [HT removed / 2], rounded down (min. 0).
  • Pain Split fails unless [target's HT - user's HT >= 2]. When successful, it steals 1 HT from the target.
  • Clangorous Soul and Belly Drum cost one (1) HT.
  • Fake Out will only flinch if used on a1, immediately after the user is sent out.

In typical fashion, I'm gonna shamelessly steal Maxim's format to try out some stuff.

Arena: Anistar City's Sundial
In the far east of Kalos, Anistar City counts hours. The city is adorned with a beautiful sundial that helps measuring the passage of time. The Psychic Gym is near... but it's already in use, so the sundial will watch over the battle instead! A fair warning: time flows a bit differently around those parts...

Effects:
  • Future Sight distorts reality and tears holes into the fabric of time. The move is resolved the turn it is used, hits at priority -6, and has its BAP cut to 4, but it forces the opponent to switch if it successfully hits
  • The sundial mercilessly hinders those who could use vile tricks, giving the victims some respite. Knock Off's effect only takes place at the end of the round it is used. The target is considered unencumbered for the remainder of the round, if applicable, though it still beneficies from its item
  • Evolution from time immemorial does not escape the sundial's dutiful watch, and time will not desecrate them. Aerilate, Galvanize, Pixilate and Refrigerate become #Trait Abilities
Codifications:
  • Camouflage turns the user into a Psychic-type
  • Secret Power may lower Speed by one (1) stage
  • Nature Power becomes Psyshock
