Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.
"Well done, Mawile. Altaria, the rest of the fight is yours!"
"Your corrosive attacks won't work on me!"
Altaria @ N/A
Fly (Evasive) - Aerial Ace - Fly (Default)
IF you are asleep when you would act, use Sleep Talk (Sky Attack/Fly (Default)/Flamethrower/Heat Wave) that action instead.
[Check at the start of the action] IF Weepinbell is set to use Reflect outside of a combo, use Sky Attack that action and replace Aerial Ace by Heat Wave in your order set.
IF Weepinbell uses Bide a1, use Protect a3.
*huff huff* There is nothing in this temple for you!
Venoshock, Venoshock, Venoshock
IF Altaria successfully uses a P/E move, THEN Chill on the first instance and Synthesis on the second.
IF Altaria is to use Sky Attack, THEN Bullet Seed.
IF Altaria is to use Fly, THEN Fly (Evasive).
Flamethrower KOs Weepinbell and leaves Altaria at 73 EN
As Weepinbell and Parasect scurry away, you continue down the tunnel. The tunnel is winding and you quickly lose a sense of which way you're going, but there are no branches so you can't end up lost. Along the walls you see statues of various pokemon, as well as magnificent works of art. You think these might be some of the treasures that were rumored to be found in this temple, but unfortunately it's all too big and heavy for you to take with you when you leave. Eventually, as you round the corner, you see it! A massive pile of gold!
Making your way towards the gold, you and your pokemon get careless and end up stepping into a trap. The floor drops out from under you, and you and your pokemon all fall way down the tunnel. Thankfully, whoever designed this trap decided to cushion the landing substantially, ensuring none of you suffered any injuries from your fall, but now the treasure is at the top of the hole you just fell down!
P2X7 how will you and your pokemon climb up to get to the treasure?
"Oof. We're not hurt, but we'll need a plan to reach that treasure. Any suggestions?"
"Mawile's pretty strong, right? I think she could get you out of this hole. Then, I just have to carry us both to the top."
"Tch...I...suppose so."
"All right, then. We must be cautious once we leave this pit, though; the fact that we could land unharmed means that the real trap has yet to appear. "
Mawile will use Seismic Toss to throw me to the top of the hole.
Altaria will use Fly to carry Mawile out of the trap.
Mawile lifts you up and flings you up out of the hole, and you barely manage to grab the edge before falling straight back down. Not long after, Altaria flies up out of the hole, carrying Mawile, before the two of them lift you out and on to the path. That hole looks like it'll be an annoying obstacle on your way out.
Success! +2 TC
As you continue walking towards the treasure, you hear some rustling in the walls. Suddenly, you see an Empoleon jump out in front of you!
What are you doing in my temple? Get out!
As Empoleon steps towards you, you look backwards for a way out, but it appears to be blocked by a Lycanroc-D.
Thief! How dare you sneak in here and try to steal our stuff!
Looking around, you seem to be trapped, as Empoleon is standing in front of you and Lycanroc-D is approaching from behind.

In the course of taking down the apparent owners of this temple, both your pokemon ended up fainting! Hearing other pokemon start to approach, you decide that instead of staying to try to take some of the rewards, it would be prudent to leave since you have no pokemon to defend you. Running out of the temple, one of the guards briefly blocks your path while the other checks to make sure nothing was stolen. After the guards are satisfied that you didn't take anything, they chase you out of the temple. Running out of the jungle, you feel relieved that adventure is over, even though you didn't manage to pick up any of the treasure.
Rewards: P2X7 gets 10 RC, 16 TC, spends 12 JC, and both Mawile and Altaria are eligible for 4*
I get 12 RC, 6 TC, and 12 JC
From the End of a Match section of the PHB: "Once someone has run out of usable Pokemon, one final batch of end-of-action and end-of-round effects like poison damage and Sandstorm damage occur and then the battle is over."
This means that Hail damage still goes off, KOing Empoleon, and the last match is a tie which by tree rules is a loss for the challenger.
