Ice Face ability does a funny.
Every pokemon has a default form, but many pokemon do not have a Noice form.
If you get this ability on another pokemon via exp share or power of alchemy, it becomes physical immunity without downside.

Can you hit Goldengo with an other category combo? As far as I know, combos are not moves, and nothing says you can't use a combo if one of the component moves would be ineffective.

Mostly bringing it up because I am not very confident on if combos are moves or not at all.

If Combos are moves, can I teach pokemon new combos using scribe.

It would be nice to be able to use "At the start of my turn on priority x" in substitutions.
Right now main orders that take place at non 0 priorities or have moves at different priorities feel very fiddly and easy to mess up.
This is largely because "At the start of priority 0" makes a lot of state clauses break since they could be true when priority 0 started, but not at the time you are taking your action.
don't count on it

Snow reads in part,
"If Frost would be created with a duration in steps; instead, it is created with that duration plus one (1)."
However, no effect in the game (outside of Raid) can create Frost with a duration in steps; it's always measured in turns.
what does it in raid??

will add "or turns"

will add "if the user is Eiscue"

combos are moves. and shockingly, yes scribe can currently borrow them. nothing says borrowed moves have to be standard.

will do a pass on effects that borrow moves and make sure instruct, metronome, etc only borrow standard moves.

i am not sure if scribe needs to borrow only standard moves. with combo changes, you're spending a lot of tech (at least 2) to lend a combo at all.

I suspect the en costs are not correct for shadow moves.
they cost 3 en (right now, by WoG) unless Mowtom says otherwise

I just went over the sub rules and wanted to note some confusions/things that might not be intended. Any number of these might be fine, I'm just not sure which. Or I might not understand the rules, that is also possible.
  • Number clauses cannot check "not equal to x" ("if X's Attack stage is nonzero")
  • The one-line description of "Host Clauses" suggests that they should only be able to use "or", not "and"; however, two of the examples use "and" in host clauses, so I'm pretty sure they are intended to ("Colossoil is subject to both Sleep and Sleep Talk"; "If Clefable is to use a move tagged both #Weather and #Sun")
  • There is no way to check whether a move is targeting you (e.g. in doubles "If X is to use Focus Blast targeting you, use Protect")

I also just went over every Lv3+ profile in the pokemon update thread to get a sense of what people are doing with their level 3 slots:
(7 Pokemon excluded because they did not select a Lv3 discipline at all.)
  • 58 Unsealed/Uncaged
  • 57 Unconvinced
  • 104 Other
I think this is going to be pretty frustrating to play against; literally more than half of pokemon have some sort of anti-control hate tool in their disciplines. I don't actually think that the Un-disciplines are better overall than powerful options like Grasping, Hungry, or Lucid; but there's very little competition in level 3, anyone who can't run Astonishing and isn't playing doubles has very little reason not to take an Un-discipline.
(I also expect that specifically Surefooted is bad, and it was also quite popular, so I expect this to get even worse if people agree with me after testing.)

Unfortunately, I think it also might be already too late to do anything about discipline balance issues; the 15 TC respec cost is so high that even if you introduced new disciplines, most people wouldn't bother switching; this is even more likely in this case, with what's likely to be their least impactful discipline overall, so I expect to just be running into a majority of pokemon with control immunities in Circuit. This is even worse for game plans specifically based around it; imagine trying to play perish trap when over a quarter of pokemon have effective-soundproof.

(This may seem a bit early for this post, but I think it's important to preregister balance claims; with such a small playerbase things can easily look like flukes if they weren't predicted.)

I think maybe we went slightly too far with the affix pruning earlier; I'd kinda like to see some form of "not in combination". I'd suggest "the unpromoted move X" (I don't think this needs to work on tags, though I wouldn't mind if it did).
The thing that prompted me thinking of this was "having Brick Break + Hypnosis shouldn't stop people from protecting your normal hypnosis", but I think in general people will be frustrated to have no way to specify "this single exact order that they might type, not all the other moves with that name".

I believe subway rewards should be based on lost NPC hp and En, not total. Otherwise you gain less points for winning than for conceding turn 1.
To my knowledge if npc's are to use combos, the rules for how they gain combos and how many they have must be defined on a per venture basis. Subway is not defining rules for the npc's to acquire combos.

Meowstic-M profiles currently come out of the generator like this due to the differences in names in places, however I don't see in the new sheets where to access the movepool data for a mon without having to use it's name to pull it from somewhere else which gives meowstic a (hopefully) unique issue

You've forgotten: Pokemon is sexist.
