Best Pixar Films

The Incredibles is definitely my favorite. Cars and Bug's Life is legit though.

I love the Incredibles because of the cast/character development, etc. I love the personality in every character, even the minor ones like the school teacher.

I'm man enough to say that Up! almost made me cry a couple of times.

I wouldn't say it's the best they've made, but it's definitely one of the most touching.

I'm going to go ahead and say Up as well. That movie was just plain insane. It had movie aspects for everyone, and while it's extremely funny, it's very emotionally engaging as well. And I actually remember everything that happened in the movie, which is rare for a movie I see in theatres...plus it gave me the tingly feeling that only a few other movies (Homeward Bound, Grave of the Fireflies, Lion King) have given me. Since I generally cannot cry during movies, that's the next closest thing. I saw it on Friday with one of my friends, and it turned a rotten week into a bearable one.

Next to that, fucking Toy Story. That movie will always be one of my favourites. EDIT: I'm going to tie Wall-e with Toy Story. For a script that barely had any talking, they did an amazing job with that one.

Wall-E was breathtakingly awesome. Hands down, best Pixar movie. Finding Nemo and Toy Story were great, with a lot of other ones close behind, showing that Pixar has an inability to fail, but Wall-E was by far the deepest and it had insane amounts of character development.

By the sounds of things I need to rent/buy Wall-E

I think A Bug's Life is underrated. Its a fun movie, one of my childood favs

Overall Toy Story 1 is great, I don't remember TS2 that much.

Monsters Inc. needs a sequel, never saw Cars. Finding Nemo is great. The incredibles was very good 2.

Overall I remember A Bugs Life, Toy Story, and Monsters Inc. the most, thus they are my faves

1. Up!
2. The Incredibles
3. Ratatouille
4. Monsters, Inc.
5. Finding Nemo
6. WALL-E
7. Toy Story
8. Toy Story 2
9. A Bugs Life
10. Cars

Up was incredible, almost made me cry, not as funny as I'd thought it would be, but still good for some laughs. The incredibles is... incredible, I love the premise and it's extremely funny. I always wanted to be a chef when I was a kid, and ratatouille is just a good movie anyway. Monsters, Inc. was interesting, had a sweet premise, was funny, just plain good. Finding Nemo was super entertaining but doesn't have that same feeling alot of other Pixar Films do. The rest are good, but I don't have anything spectacular to say about them ;-;

Still, Pixar has made some of the best movies I've ever seen, and are ridiculously good at making 3D films that are beyond making little kids laugh.

Wall-E was, by far, my favorite, but I´ve been dying to watch Up!, it seems quite funny. Althought you cant deny Toy Story, Monsters Inc and Finding Nemo are truly awesome

Oh god, it's way too hard to make a list of favourites for these! I haven't seen Monsters, Inc. or Bug's Life since I was really young so I'd love to watch them again soon - all I can remember is that they were absolutely amazing!! I actually really liked all of them; it's so cool how Pixar has such a diverse set of settings between movies, where some can be really obscure bug colonies and others huge car racing events. ragh...my childhood on a disk.

Toy Story was THE best, hands down for me. There was something truly incredible in that movie that I don't think can be recaptured anywhere else. The plot, characters, and pretty much everything about it revolutionized these types of movies and created. I can still watch it today and still feel as engaged as I was like, ten years ago?

Wall-E is a close runner up though. To be able to display that much story and emotion without dialogue is just extraordinary. The idea was extremely creative and Pixar executed it, in my opinion, flawlessly. Other notables are The Incredibles, Monster Inc, and Finding Nemo. I haven't watched Up! yet, but I definitely plan to.

actually i have to retract my previous post, i just saw WALL-E for the first time yesterday. absolutely incredibly awesome from start to finish... what a masterpiece. WALL-E > nemo

I loved Finding Nemo just because it was the cutest movie out of the other Pixar ones. A cute little clownfish with a sweet little surgeonfish (I believe) helping each other out in a funny watery journey... it's just funny. And, riding the "Manta Bus" to "school" in the underwater, haha.

I tried to make a list but it's too hard because most of them are all great!

That said, a couple of them are terrible. (Monsters Inc., Toy Story 2)

I think the better question is whether or not Pixar has a film that is even mediocre. They are one of the most consistent and quality movie-making companies out there. That said, The Incredibles needs some more love, the plot and nearly every character in that movie is just awesome.

Ok so I pretty much agree with the majority that Pixar is an Amazing studio and their movies are consistently top tier.

Also, I only just recently saw Up! and I have to say it was incredible. It is definitely up there with the best Pixar films (and possibly best films). It is also very rare that a movie can set up so much and make you feel so much within the first few scenes. Kudos to pixar for making me cry (yes I will admit it) in the beginning of a movie. That said, the rest of the movie was also very engaging, with just the right amount of comedy and adventure and emotional draw. I thoroughly enjoyed this movie.

However, I am a super hero nerd at heart and I just can't deny the genius of the Incredibles. I mean I just love the concept, and the characters, and the way the story was told was just superb. Anyway, Incredibles is my favorite, even though Up! was amazing. The two movies are equally good, I just like superheroes more.

My list:

1. The Incredibles
2. Up!
3. Ratatouille (I too had childhood dreams of being a chef, and the movie actually makes me hungry)
4. WALL-E (brilliant idea with a message and breathtaking shots)
5. Toy Story (its a classic, and such a brilliant conflict from another perspective)
6. A Bug's Life (just a lot of charm and something that draws me..)
7. Finding Nemo (actually a great movie, very funny, I've just seen it way too much)
8. Monsters, Inc. (cool monsters)
9. Cars (by no means bad, just not as entertaining as the others, Mater is funny though)
10. Toy Story 2 (I don't really remember this movie so its last)

I liked Toy Story 1 and Monsters Inc. the most. Haven't seen Up yet, but I heard it's awesome though.

Finding Nemo was good too.
