How did the name "Kristy" come up? It's totally unintutitive, it has no "Flotzel" in the name anywhere. Even Tyraniboah has "Tyrani" in "Tyranitar".

I reckon...

Had to check which pokemon had 105 atk and 55 def after someone mentioned ignoring the 105 atk to pump the 55 def. Only then did I find out it was a floatzel and found the analysis for "kristy"...seriously.

^ Lol that would be soo funny... What about SkipJump? o_O;

BTW, are there any uses for a Naughty Floatzel with good IVs that I just hatched? I was thinking Waterfall/Ice Beam/filler/filler... =O

Kristy is pretty cool, but... the thread title is "Best" set, not "most innovative."

Granted, it's a good set, but it's hardly effecting change on the metagame like some of the others mentioned above.

Of course, I suppose my argument really hinges on what "Best" really means, so...

On the uber side, it's probably Mix Dialga. That thing is everywhere now, or at least according to SePh anyways

I love the "beats unprepared teams" replies. If my team is Luvdisc weak then Luvdisc would sweep me and then Luvdisc could be considered a Pokemon that beats unprepared teams. The question is, how hard is it to prepare for a Pokemon?

Slice'n'dice...is it just me, or did you vote twice?

Anyway, I say MIXMENCE (the Life Orb, Brick Break, Crunch, Draco Meteor, Fire Blast variety) because there isn't a counter to it, literally. Everything in the metagame gets hit hard.

When a set has literally 0 counters, you know it is...

Sassy Heatproof Bronzong could counter it, as could Careful Registeel with Ice Punch, possibly.

I'd definitely have to say SpecsMence or MixMence. I would vote Kristy, but this is for the Best set, not the most creative/innovative/whatever, and these Salamence sets, most notably SpecsMence, just changed the way teams were built. There was suddenly this brand new Salamence set that everyone had to watch out for else they be crushed by its absurdly powerful Draco Meteor. I'd definitely say the only contender for the spot is ScarfChomp, but he's countered way too easily. . .
