This is almost undoubtedly related to my relative newness to any form of Mafia game, but why is it likely they modified the claim?
Part of my personal townlean on Haruno is as far as I know there’s very little content so it seems weird to just declare yourself a Mason and change that pattern unless they are actually trying to contribute

A couple things.

They have to modify the claim because lost mason is a town role and recruiter for lost wolf is a scum role. If they claimed the latter, we would immediately vote them out. Some roles can be on town or scum, and this kind of applies here in that it's the same essential role but with different outcomes. Don't forget that Haruno hasn't even claimed lost mason but rather they get to open a chat with someone but doesn't know that they're town or not. Seems like insurance for if we vote out the person they open a chat with and they're scum.

Haruno hasn't contributed beyond defending themselves. Contributing in mafia usually refers to helping the town solve the game and giving reads / cases on other players. Haruno has, in that sense, not actually contributed at all.

What information are you looking for Haruno to claim beyond what they already have?

Haruno's mostly been speculating about roles from what I remember. I originally believed their claim but Celever's theory is a viable alternative explanation so my opinion on that has changed.

I've also changed my opinion on Clouds (was originally gonna drop a vote on him for bad reasons).

Basically if Celever's mafia, my reads are fucked.

But he'd tell us if he was, right?

Not in particular as far as a towncore is concerned. I have no issues trying to confirm myself as town though.

If our goal right now is to try and clean people as town, then there's a pretty simple way to doing that for myself + one other person.

This is where the claim began, in response to me asking Haruno if they had a towncore.

Looks like they took you saying "do you have a towncore" to mean "yes, me, lemme try and prove it"

They're way too experienced to do that in good faith though

They had a bad reaction to a vote (imo) and their reads list seemed weird. I originally shrugged their post about Psy off because I disagreed w/ it and didn't know where they got the idea Psy was being analytical. Having reflected on this, I think this was a bad idea. Eventually I concluded they hadn't posted much content, another thing which I think isn't accurate.

a short explenation as to why I literally have 0 messages here so far.
I didn't really knew that the game would turn out like this and I'm not very interested, the main part is scumreading which I suck at and I don't really enjoy doing. I'm still playing the game but just doing the very minimum, I guess. Maybe I'll become more active when some players got eliminated and it won't be such a mess anymore (if I happen to still be in the game by then)
Luckily I'm not gamethrowing as I'm not part of town nor mafia, my role is a neutral third-party who can win alongside both sides as long as I fulfill my own wincondition so yeah, vote for me or don't, I don't really care atm

Oh, there was also that last post that you said you really liked. I didn't like it as much but I didn't quite dislike it and wanted more info on that front... and still kinda do but I think the best way to get the info I want is to ask them generic questions.
