Breeding Variants V4

Have you ever seen those cool fanart posts where someone makes drawings of a Pokemon and what they would look like if their offspring took traits from their breeding partner? This Pet Mod will take this concept and put it into a playable form. It'll work something like this:

Submission Rules
You would start with a "base" Pokemon that will take traits from a chosen breeding partner, or "donor", from the same egg group; Baby Pokemon take on the egg group of their parent(s).



Let's use these two Pokémon as an example. As the base, Eelektross would take the following traits from Chandelure:

- A type to replace one of his current ones
- 5 moves from Chandelure’s movepool
- One of Chandelure’s abilities
- Average out one of Chandelure’s base stats with his corresponding stat, like this: (95 + 145) / 2
- Some sort of fitting suffix to denote the newly made alternate form
- A dex entry (optional but help for flavor!)
In the end, it'll look something like this:

Other submission rules include;

• Avoiding the use of previously used bases AND donors. This includes all returning winners from V1, V2 and V3.
• Donors does not give item-exclusive benefits, which include but not limited Thick Club, Eviolite, Light Ball and a Mega Stone. Bases can still have the compatible item-exclusive benefits though.
• Max of 5 submissions at once.
• Keep your subs balanced in mind for Gen 5-7 OU, as the removal of Z-Moves + Tera, alongside banned Dynamax, might lower the power level similar to Gen 6-7.
• If the base has a Mega Evolution, follow the Mix and Mega formula in this OP of the thread for their respective Mega Stone: Mix and Mega thread
• Unlike past iterations, same-gender Pokémon and genderless Pokémon can mix via Ditto Goo (a material from SV), as long as their Egg Group matches. Conversely, Undiscovered Egg Group Pokémon still cannot mix even with Ditto Goo, as not even Ditto itself can breed with any of these Pokémon.
  • Baby Pokémon are exceptions as they instead uses the same Egg Group as their evolved form(s)… but given their low stats, why would you?

Banlist
Base

• Based on NatDex Tiers, Pokémon tiered as RUBL, or ranked A- or higher in NatDex UU / OU are not allowed to be bases. The UU+ ban is to prevent subs from devolving into "make an already good Pokemon even better", especially with Mega Evolution in mind.
• If the Mega Evolution is ranked A- or higher in the aforementioned tiers, but the base is not, then the base can be used, but chances that the Breed Variant’s own Mega Evolution might be banned from the metagame.
• Slaking is banned as base due to donator surpressing it’s Truant Ability.
• Ditto is banned as base due to possible exploit with high HP and Imposter, and we don’t want to risk that.

Donor

• Ditto is also banned as donor for the same reason it's banned as a base, this time just Impostor once again.
• Smeargle is banned as donor because even with its crappy stats, Sketch along with access to the entire Field egg group would get out of hand real quickly.
• Gholdengo is banned due to how powerful absurdly powerful Ghost + Good as Gold is, and in a NatDex environment, we do not want “Gholdengo clones” with Steel or Ghost, alongside Good as Gold, as to not limit hazard removal too much with potentially high level given Mega Evolutions will be present.

Formats
Unlike past iterations, V4 will use NatDex OU as the basis, with all moves available, no Z-Crystals, no Dynamax, no Tera, but yes to Mega Evolution (given V1 has Megas), and there will be three variants;
Breeding Variants V4 (NatDex OU with Breeding Variants and no Tera nor Z-Moves; Dynamax already banned in NatDex)
Breeding Variants V4 No Megas (Same as above, but all Megas banned for lower power level)
Breeding Variants V4 SV Cup (SV OU with Breeding Variants from V1-V4 added, even if base / donor were dexited)

It was the second slate of V3 before the thread became suddenly abandoned. Out of respect for V3, I bring back this slate idea.
The only rule is that either the base or donor must have Grass-type, or part of the Grass Egg Group. The resulting Breeding Variant does not have to have Grass-type though!

Dex Entry: the competitive breeding association (run by anaconja) was in dire need of more darkpoisons. Noticing the potential of the grass egg group to become not grass type and morph into something greater: the darkpoison. They selected two pokemon well known for their showmanship to create the ultimate darkpoison, in roserade masked. Fitted with as much 8 phasing removal as one could get, their ultimate goal of total world domination was one step closer.
Reasoning: with an exellent typing and speed tier that is uncommon in natdex, Roserade masked provides a versatile pivot that has an ok matchup into most situations. The additional choice of stronger stab with protean or better hidden power coverage with tech should provide roserade proper usage in the tier

Their attempt at breeding it was almost successful until the riders of escalator seven sabotaged their efforts, removing torch song from the fusion. Another day another thwarted frenchman for the riders of escalator seven.
Reasoning: unawaremon that is better vs the likes of gambit, tusk etc that plays differently from dirge as an unawaremon as it is reliant on usage of leech seed, drain punch or synthesis for recovery, rather than slack off. Capable of using idef press sets as well. torch song would very likely break this ngl.

Dex Entry: In order to combat the recent movements from the competitive and the stall breeding associations (no they are surprisingly not the same thing), the Hax and BS breeding association decided to create the most haxy pos as they physically could. They did this by fusing the haxmeister with the mon with the most haxxy move in the game, attempting to make the hax, not hax, but a true and real possibility. The riders of escalator seven despised this action and responded appropriately by dropping a gravity rod on their association. Despite the riders of escalator sevens efforts, the specimen escaped, damaged but seeking a return to its full form.
Reasoning: I was gonna do funny serene grace but that might be too funny

Dex Entry: A rare mutation of Ferrothorn, influenced by draconic traits inherited from a Baxcalibur ancestor. Its thorned, metallic vines have hardened into blade-like structures, resembling dragon fangs, and its outer shell gleams with a scale-like pattern. Unlike its typical counterpart, Ferrothorn-Glaive is far more aggressive, using its reinforced tendrils to lash out at foes with terrifying force. When threatened, it can coil into a spinning, bladed sphere and launch itself at enemies like a siege weapon.

Though it retains its plant-like origins, Ferrothorn-Glaive has lost its vulnerability to fire, its outer shell now resistant to extreme heat.

Its glossy, apple-like scales secrete a syrupy nectar laced with venom, luring in prey before striking with scalding, acidic breath. Unlike its Hydrapple lineage, it is far more mobile, slithering gracefully across the battlefield and using its flexible tail to ensnare opponents.

Dex Entry: These variants of Rillaboom honour their dead with cacophonous drum bashings which are believed to convey their grief. They appear to carry a disdain for the lax approach standard Rillaboom have for music.
Reasoning: Rillaboom sidegrade which trades less attack power for a better STAB combo and priority+utility moves.

Dex Entry: Kalosian tradition states these Pokémon are bringers of a fruitful harvest, and also good luck charms for a couple who plans on becoming married. This makes them a highly valued variant in the region.
Reasoning: Triage sweeper with STAB Giga Drain and better coverage, but keeps more lacking HP stat.

Dex Entry: Applin who fall near schools of Magikarp eventually join them on their migration up waterfalls. Those who make it with them become a special variant of Flapple. The surge of energy caused by the metamorphosis of the Magikarp is described to create a uniquely sour fruit that has become a coveted item amongst certain collectors.
Reasoning: Moxie + DD Sweeper with Grav Apple as a powerful STAB to encourage switches and a better defensive type to setup with.

A shiinotic found a mysterious apple and started stealing its life energy, but a worm came out of it and, without a energy source, latched on to shiinotic, awakening some mysterious latent Draconic energy

Nice bulky mon, loaded dice sets exist, can set sand, can change thick fat to ripen if wanted

Dex: this variant of sandaconda spits fertile soil instead of sand, making it loved by farmers. Sometimes the soil contains apple seeds.

Every time I make a mon it tells me to reset the page and I lose it. I’m very annoyed

:marowak-alolan: + Chlorophyll + Thick Club looks very concerning, as it can sweep out most walls and balance teams, especially with access to Knock Off. I’ll let others be judge on that, but if considered as too strong for NatDex, replacing Chlorohpyll by Overgrow is the way to make it a powerful, but manageable, wallbreaker.

Even if it could not take advantage of Electro Shot as much as Archaludon can due to lower Special Attack, it’s higher Attack, mich better defensive type and access to Stamina would make it painful to fight against. Replacing Steel by Dragon will give more manageable weaknesses and less resistances for it.

Nice bulky mon, loaded dice sets exist, can set sand, can change thick fat to ripen if wanted

Dex: this variant of sandaconda spits fertile soil instead of sand, making it loved by farmers. Sometimes the soil contains apple seeds.

Every time I make a mon it tells me to reset the page and I lose it. I’m very annoyed

The Mega Evolution of this fusion would be fine, given that Lightning Rod isn’t a helpful Ability in Singles with it’s typing in mind, and Heavy Slam relies on lower (but still usable) Attack.

Everything else seems fine to me, given the high power level of NatDex even without Z-Moves, Dynamax and Tera. If anyone want to add something though, be my guest.

I’d replace charge beam for chloroblast (on Glimm-charged) having the signature is cool (why my sandaconda has apple acid) and grass coverage is nice
