That honestly makes no sense but if that is how it works then I guess there is no bug and I misunderstood the effect.

When I try to make a team in the teambuilder it won't let me choose moves from a list like it usually does and all the moves I type in are illegal. Is there something I am missing or is this a bug?
More information is needed. What pokemon are you trying to do this on? Does it have alternate forms?
I feel like this has probably been brought up at some point before, but there is something wrong with the suggested spread generator. If you set a Pokemon to level 1 and mess around by giving it random moves, it's possible to generate blatantly illegal EV spreads. For instance, I just managed to get a Torterra with 436 Atk EVs by setting it to level 1 and putting in Frenzy Plant, Outrage, SolarBeam, and Worry Seed as its attacks (meaning it had 399 Atk, 51 more than it is possible to get and the equivalent of about base 132). Here's a picture for proof:

I've found an incorrect fact in one of the moves' description and was told by Lacerta to report it here.
The move Thunder says :
"...and has a 30% chance to hit through a target's Protect or Detect."
However, this is incorrect. This was true in Diamond and Pearl, but this was removed in Platinum.

Is there any reason why the kick timer is preferred over a timer ala Shoddy/Pokémon Lab? The usual response is "get a mod," but it would be easier to have a timer that doesn't require you to trigger the kick multiple times before subsequently informing a mod.
why dont you just make it like they do on PO, where you get no min back once you return, so if you stall you start right back--

shortugal, this is the proper thread to air your grievances about Pokemon Showdown not being enough like Pokemon Online. Claiming the mods not answering your "requests" fast enough is not a bug. Nor is the timer a bug.

When you try to enter a match it will tell you that it is not allowed.
God forbid that a mod be afk!
Timestalling is a bannable offense, we ban people who are found to be maliciously using the clock, thats what we can do.
Whether modchat is set or not, you should PM a mod anyway as the chat doesn't really need to know nor care about people timestalling, as well as the fact that during peak times it is quite easy to miss lines of chat so mods may miss your timestall comment. (Modchat is never really set if mods want to discuss something without the chat interfering, we have IRC for that)
I recommend pm'ing mods who are currently active in chat, as they are far more likely to respond then just pm'ing any random mod.

1. It seems Mental Herb does not work correctly with Encore. In it will say that the Encore ended and the mental herb is consumed, but the pokemon still makes the same move it did last time. See turns 1 and 2 in this match

I was attempting to use Light Screen on turn 2 with Cresselia. Just to make sure I did not misclick, I replayed my opponent immediately afterwards with the same exact setup and the same thing happened.
2. Might not be the appropriate thread, but would it be possible to allow people to claim victory in unrated battles if the opponent disconnects? Currently it just gives the text "This isn't a rated battle; victory doesn't mean anything. Do you just want to see the text "you win"? Okay. You win." if you try. I can see this for ladder purposes but it's really annoying when you're trying to obtain a replay of a specific bug as it won't even bring you to the winning screen to obtain the replay.
in balanced hackmons, my swift swim Kyogre always has Hydration which makes no damned sense

Zarel, Pwnemon and I broke doubles. It was my lastmon Cresselia vs. his lastmon Politoed. We PP stalled until I only had Helping Hand left. At this point, I could not target anything with Helping Hand, but I also could not struggle, meaning we physically couldnt finish the battle. So helping hand should probably just fail when this happens.

in addition to the glitch typon noted above, i also realized you can't save a replay in which a player forfeits an unrated battle
Sorry to keep asking but I never got an answer as to whether this was fixed or not.
My friend and I were in a game, and, we attempted to pick our move Meinshao against Bronzong, he chose High Jump Kick, I chose Gyro Ball, however, the game said "Waiting for opponent" even though we both chose, we canceled and tried again, and then it worked. Next, I switched in dusknoir, he tried to switch out, but for some reason Meinshao attacked again (it was choice banded) and died to recoil. I'm not sure what happened exactly, but, I can send the replay.
