:heatran: Team kinda gets dogged on by Scizor, so we have a heatran. Went for a Sunny Day/Magma/Solar Beam angle bc rain is also a dog mu. Balloon HP ice to handle shit like Gliscor, Chomp, Dnite etc. Cool mon people should use it more

:latias: Keldeo check, twave shit, drop a draco, heal stuff, speed control idfk

:starmie: RAPID SPIN

I got 1600 with this team, it's pretty fun, you should try it if you wanna turn your brain off.

I wanted to follow an approach to building Band KyuB where I wanted to abuse as many of the cool stuff it can do as I can. For instance:

-You don't need Magnezone as it rams itself into the Steels for 80% of their HP
-It baits Latios revenge kills so you can Pursuit it with something
-It's one of the hardest punishes to Starmie clicking Rapid Spin in the game

As such, I wanted a team where I had a dedicated lead that baits in Starmie, a Pursuiter, and something that really appreciated weakened Steel types. So I started with Band KyuB, added Scizor, lead Lando-T, and DD EQ Dnite. I then added HP Fire Starmie for Spin and killing Scizors, and my last slot I wanted something that can damage Thundy-T and switch into Ferro, so I went with 3Atk NP Celebi.

I haven't tested this much but I think here you would try to look for trades that make sense and open up one of your sweepers- KyuB for Ferro, KyuB for Latios, etc.

Zam-Kyub + Zone Support

the main idea is to remove steels for kyu to clean and remove scizor for zam to break through. chople zone can be a potential option here but air b covers exca as well which is nice.

the team has pretty standard straightforward lines, scarf kyub is a good cleaner which also has a good amount of surprise factor, and solid power despite being a cleaner. standard 4a scarf nothing special.

magnezone for trapping n removing steels.

zam for breaking holes and keeping the pressure on. pretty standard set for lo zam, signal is a good midground move for reuni tar n eon twins all in one.

ferrothorn for stability as a damage sponge and spikes support. explosion is to not lose momentum on your side and not become setup fodder. also to chunk likes of thundyt which is a major issue for the team.

lando t for rocks n pivoting, I like helmet here because team isn't aiming for a long game and helmet garners fast chip so u can pick off easier with kyub.

starmie for spin support cause kyub takes a fuckton from haz and also provides an offensive ground vs rain teams and can pick of non scarf dragons making ferrothorns tanking job a bit easier. can go max max on starmie but u have ferrothorn for opposing starmie so definitely not a necessity. can/may speed creep for torn.

a few specific points to keep in mind:

team is incredibly susceptible to thund, especially agili thund is a game ender.

if volc comes in immediately double to kyub, you should tank everything it throws at you and you can pick it off next turn. if volc grabs more than 1 boost u fried.

:Salamence: Yache berry + natural gift is funny. Watmel berry is a fun alternative to use (70bp fire move) but is admittedly pretty useless
:starmie: Spins. Tries to chunk ferro to help kyurem cleave thru your opps team. does like nothing to ferro in rain though lmfao
:scizor: scizor. Helps with latis and has priority
:kyurem-black: Wanted to mess around with scarf. iirc outspeeds +1 dnite? Hits hard
:terrakion: Rocks + taunt
:volcarona: This set is so ass no fire move lmfao. Feel free to remove hp ice though its quite funny killing dnites with it. Air balloon cos it's fun to cheese a setup on lando

Anyway this team is super dookie and is guaranteed to drop your elo by like 200 (zer0 can probably attest to this). Super fun when it works tho.

I know time limit has passed days ago but id like to submit my KyuB team which I find is the best KyuB Rain team around in BW metagame

This Rain Offense feature the core of Kyurem-Black Power Herb set + Starmie Specs to break anything together, main idea of KyuB PHerb set is be able to setup Substitute agaisnt Rotom-W, Jellicent, Gastrodon, Ferrothorn without Gyro Ball, etc. with Freeze Shock + PHerb u hit in 1 turn a strong STAB being able to remove Tyranitar to win the weather war, u deal huge dmg to Ferrothorn so it cant wall Starmie, Rotom cant do nothing, and it one shot most BW metagame or 2HKO anything, with the increase of Celebi teams and Clefable fats this set becomes much better, this idea of PHerb was an EG PkmTrainerBlue creation in 2016 where he used it agaisnt Finchinator on a tour game when sleep was allowed, Starmie supports killing anything or 2HKO'ing anything as well with Analytic Specs, I run Surf and not Hydro cuz Surf 2HKO almost all without miss and gives to KyuB free Substitute setup scenarios, Politoed Leftovers here because I wanted more longevity agaisnt Mamoswine and Terrakion, Ferrothorn is the check to Latios and Wisp absorber with Rawst Berry, I use Rawst cuz u dont lose the item in case something does Twave or confuse it, also Ferro setup the hazzards needed, I run Gyro and not Knock to break Thundurus-T Substitute, Latios Scarf is the revenge killer of the team and helps agaisnt Alakazam or fast threats, also it is a rly cool revenge killer here due to the huge damage KyuB + Starmie deal while Gyarados Intimidate acts as a Ground Inmunity and Keldeo check, Gyarados can be a breaker here or do the sweeper role, Substitute let it threat a lot of things, this team may seem weak to Thund T or Rotom Scarf, but its not since u have cheer power in all mons and everything except Gyarados lives them, I took 2 hours searching in my replays some games agaisnt Lax an We Three Kings where we tested this team and it had success but sadly I didnt found them :/, hope this team can be submited and sorry for be so late, I just found this post today ImZer0
