By request, you can now specify Tera Type: None in analyses. This functionality is intended for when you should not ever tera a Pokemon, similar to the "No Ability" ability or "No Item" item.

Right now, it doesn't do much, and will just result in no Tera Type line being shown on the Dex. But, it may do something different in the future, so if you all think this is useful please use it in your uploads so we can get a better idea of what to do.
Nobody is using this or followed up on 2 or so times I've asked about it, so it's been removed

The syntax of the formats document has been migrated from YAML to a format that is more consistent with the rest of the Dex, and with better error-checking. We're still playing around with the syntax but it should remain pretty similar to what is there now.

This is shiny finder's first major contribution to the CMS, thanks SF!

The Dex now supports strategies for in-battle formes like megas. This functionality was requested by the Draft section, but also in the past by Hackmons formats. Hackmons formats currently use "in-battle alt:" to specify a mega, but my hope is that we can standardize on this new functionality and I can remove "in-battle alt".

To change the forme, select from the drop down here:

If there are multiple strategies available for a given format, they'll be shown like this.

We may in the future allow select in-battle formes to have their own pages. Many analyses are written with the assumption that they're on the same page, so changing this is non-trivial; it's unclear if its even desirable in all cases. In any event that is a separate matter from this update, which is merely to make it possible to have strategies for in-battle formes at all.

Edit: I'll probably change the way the forme selector is styled at some point, I just did something minimal to get this out the door.

Credits are supported on format pages, as requested by the translations team. They'll look like this on the CMS credits page.

I'm not aware of the policies of what gets credited and what doesn't on format pages, but I'm sure if you have any questions you can ask a C&C leader

There is a new bbcode, [ copyedit ], which aims to make it easier to implement GP/QC type posts. It is also available as a reply mode in C&C-type forums (look at the right hand side):

Copyediting a post will avoid some formatting-related pitfalls of using XF's default quoting functionality. Additionally, copyediting an already copyedited post will only select text in the copyedit tag, ignoring stamps or other commentary.

You can also do something like copyedit=GP like a hide tag, if you so desire.
