Hey everyone, after looking into the depth of each submission, here's the slate! First of all, I want everyone to know that even if I didn't slate your submission, I do not think that it was bad. I'm very satisfied with the quality of all submissions here. Anyways, let's move on to the slate. Below, you can read each slated option, their stat spread, and a short summary of what the spread aims to do. I hope that this will help with making informed votes!
Agile Turtle - 114 / 115 / 73 / 93 / 58 / 107
Agile Turtle's submission has just enough bulk to avoid being 2HKOed by Close Combat from Zeraora as well as Moonblast from Clefable. Agile Turtle's elected to outspeed Caribolt, while remaining slower than Terrakion and Keldeo. Agile Turtle thought it was important to be able to OHKO Aegislash-Shield with Flare Blitz, which you only need 111 Attack for. They decided to go slightly higher to OHKO Aurumoth as well, though. Agile Turtle's spread also leaves the option for mixed sets to 2HKO Pokemon like Hippowdon and Tomohawk. Lastly, Agile Turtle elected for a high HP stat with some lower Defenses to minimize Flare Blitz recoil and to maximize the potential of using Wish.
Roland le preaux - 87 / 112 / 87 / 95 / 72 / 107
Rolande le preaux also elected to outspeed Caribolt with his spread, though making sure to stay slower than Terrakion and Keldeo. Roland le preaux wanted to avoid becoming too efficient as a Wish user, so he elected for a relatively middling HP stat in 87, which also minimizes the impact Stealth Rock has and maximizes Regenerator recovery. Roland le preaux also thought it was important to OHKO Aegislash, though did not quite go for guaranteeing an OHKO on Aurumoth with Flare Blitz. Roland le preaux's bulk benchmarks allow CAP 27 to avoid being 2HKOed by Zeraora's Close Combat as well as Clefable's Moonblast. With full HP investment, CAP 27 can even take 2 Sludge Bombs from Mollux.
-Voltage- - 75 / 115 / 95 / 85 / 75 / 120
-Voltage- decided to go for a much higher Speed tier with his submission than most others; he argues that it is important for CAP27 to outspeed offensive threats like Cawmodore and Kerfluffle, while still being outsped by Syclant and Adamant Choice Scarf Dracovish. With 115 Attack, CAP 27 will be able to 2HKO maximum Defense invested Clefable with Fire Lash into Flare Blitz. It does, however, miss out on OHKOing Hydreigon and Kyurem. The HP and Defense investment combined allow CAP 27 to live 2 Close Combats from Zeraora after Leftovers recovery, as well as 2 Brave Birds from Corviknight, with 4 Defense EVs, that is.
lyd - 98 / 111 / 81 / 79 / 75 / 122
lyd also breaks the mold with a much faster submission than most others. lyd also believes it to be important to outspeed Pokemon like Kerfluffle and Cawmodore, though he'd rather also have CAP27 outspeed Syclant and Adamant Choice Scarf Dracovish. With 111 Attack, CAP 27 has just enough fire power to OHKO Aegislash-Shield with Flare Blitz, while also letting CAP 27 2HKO Kyurem with Dragon Claw. lyd elects for a lower Special Attack stat than most that still leaves the option of 2HKOing Hippowdon with Fire Blast into Draco Meteor. With 98 HP, CAP 27 can minimize the impact of Life Orb recoil and Stealth Rock damage with 8 or 248 EVs. Combined with 81 Defense, this is just enough to avoid being 2HKOed by Close Combat from Zeraora. With 248 HP EVs, CAP 27 will always live 2 Moonblasts from Clefable after Stealth Rock damage and Leftovers recovery.
MrDollSteak - 108 / 108 / 74 / 92 / 64 / 114
MrDollSteak actually chooses to outspeed Terrakion and Keldeo, though still leaves it slower than Pokemon like Syclant and Kerfluffle. With the given HP stat, MrDollSteak looks to maximize the Regenerator recovery and minimize the impact of Stealth Rock, while allowing for high HP Wishes. MrDollSteak elected for a more mixed spread that can 2HKO Pokemon like Corviknight with Fire Lash, while still leaving enough room for the pressure matchup with Mollux, as well as Pokemon like Arghonaut with Draco Meteor.
Korski - 114 / 100 / 67 / 74 / 63 / 137
Korski's submission is remarkably fast, but he justifies why it should be quite well, as Korski'd like for CAP 27 to outspeed Choice Scarf Jolly Dracovish with maximum Speed investment, or maximum Speed Jolly Excadrill without any investment at the bare minimum. In trade for the Speed, this spread is not remarkably strong as a fast Pokemon with a mere 100 base Attack, though that is still enough to OHKO Pajantom with Dragon Claw and 2HKO specially defensive Clefable with Flare Blitz. It also opts for a higher HP stats to allow for fatter Wishes and more customization in the defensive EV spread.
quziel - 99 / 123 / 82 / 85 / 63 / 102
quziel's spread is the slowest one slated but presents a very good case as to why it should be. This spread also narrowly avoids being OHKOed by Caribolt, so being slower than it isn't as impactful. Beyond that, he makes a big point of OHKOing Hydreigon with Dragon Claw. The given HP stat minimizes Stealth Rock damage and maximizes Regenerator recovery. Ofcourse, this does come at the cost of relatively low special bulk, though still just enough to take two Moonblasts from Clefable.
