Ice/Steel

Something able to overcome two common 4x-weaknesses (and others) without being forced to go completely into offense
 
Fire/Poison

Fire is a way to 'fix' Poison. Steel is a way to 'fix' Ice. But Ice/Rock isn't really fixing anything, it's compounding weaknesses with two fantastic offensive types.

Fire/Poison wins out for me because despite its weaknesses it can perhaps fill an elegant niche in the metagame and I'd like to see a decent Fire type not named Heatran given a proper run. Ice/Steel would be cool, but maybe too cool!
 
Ice/Rock

If we're going to do this concept, I don't want to take the easy way out. I want us to do something that's actually a challenge. CAP's not going to grow unless it challenges itself. I feel like anybody voting for Fire/Poison because "it's not the worst one" is completely missing the point. Fire/Poison has way too much good going for it, and I'm astounded that it made it this far.

I actually like Ice/Steel, but even though I know this reasoning is unsound, the fact that we're trying to make something with bad typing that's part Steel still irks me. I'm trying to look at the project from the perspective of those not completely in the know, and from that perspective, making a "bad" typing that's part Steel is questionable, and I worry about what that means for CAP in general.
