If I were to do something arsenic-related, would that be considered too Rock and not enough Ground?

(it's a rather large image)

When I saw poison/ground I felt inspired to create something. so i made this lizard which burrows underground, but fills its den with a toxic liquid. It is a nocturnal creature and would have access to moonlight for recovery, while the purple spikes of his back show clearly that he'll be using toxic spikes. Sorry if I'm getting too ahead with some of its potential moves.

Sorry I didn't say anything earlier, but that Oho Jee is a very nice piece of work. I agree that it would be too busy with more spikes. I think it's fine with the one (forretress doesn't even have spikes).

Cartoons' Mr. Hands easily wins my vote here. I can see it using just about every cool utility move (including gravity, as it seems to have some sort of magical hands). The only thing that might be a concern is that it looks a little frail. I suppose it could ward off physical attacks by blocking with its hands, but what about special defense? Seems a bit frail from that angle. Maybe if it could roll up into an armored ball or something, it would fit the defensive look.

Overall, most unique and most fitting idea thus far.

Wow, so many amazing entries and concepts.

Anyways, I think now I'm gonna vote for Cartoon's. If that wins I'm naming mine Jazz Hands, lol. It perfectly represents utility.

Elagune is an extremely close second. Extraordinary design.

Maniac's Dragon would have my vote if it was Poison/Dragon. (Save the design and recolor should we do another Dragon).

Cartoons' idea seem a bit farfetch'd to be a Pokemon. It's like Mr.mine, Magnezone, and Metagross' bastard child. It's not bad as it's actually a good idea, just it seem sorta odd when you compare it towards other Pokemon.

For Cartoons', I want to remind everyone: He's doing an updated version of it. Right now, as it is, as good as the concept is it's really more of a Steel/Ground than Poison/Ground what with the mechanical nature of it. If the typing were Steel/Ground then there would be no contest, but for now... let's wait to see how it gets to be more poison than steel.

Cartoons' daddy long legs probably has my vote wrapped up. That design is extraordinary, and very fitting to the pure-utility theme.

BRAINSTORM!

Its utility comes from the various tools they are often depicted utilizing in their line of work.
Its poison comes from the frequent depiction of the deciet, lies, tricks, and espionage they are known for. (Besides of course using poison in their work.)
Its ground comes from being a terrestrial animal, often using mother earth to provide hiding spots and cover.

What am I talking about? Why of course, it's a Ninja.

I can't believe I didn't think about this earlier - Ninja. Find a ground-related animal and make it into a respectable anthropomorphed ninja humanoid and there we go, Poison/Ground Utility.

...I'll let others try to see what they can come up along these lines. I believe this idea stands a good chance of being our mon if someone comes up with a good design.

how does being farfetch'd make it like pokemonish? farfetch'd IS a pokemon!

anyway, Cartoons!' design is really cool. I think I may just have to flip a coin between that and the imp. they're both pretty awesome designs.

Aware of that, and I did that on purpose. Not only am I poking fun at the Pokmon with the same name, but I'm also using it to express how unbelievable it looks.

far-fetched (fär'fĕcht')

I don't know what I was thinking.

I think a ninja would fit more as a dark or Ghost mixed with something. Poison would would be more of a spy, and assassin thing. Which iirc was different then a ninja.

Hey guys, instead of giving up on this guy i decided to remodel him (kind of) i think before he looked more jokish but now i tried to make him a little more badass. What i changed was that now he has spikes on his head and i changed the color of the toxic fumes, and eyes. If there are any color suggestions ill take them. I also went on and created a pre-evo for him because i felt like he needed one, and lastly the only thing i have left to say is that im sorry if i detailed them too much but please take into account that i have not yet learned how to color on the computer and i try to do my best with pencils.

Cartoons!'s Handymon wins my vote. The Poison/Ground typing and the utility concept corresponds with its design perfectly. Also a small feature, but I'm glad that it doesn't try to pull off the "I'm badass" look that the other CaPs sport.

thats just an entry, im saying someone should do it LIKE that. i should have said more, someone should try something like that, but without the aspects of tyranitar and stuff.

A slug would be a good idea for Poison/Ground, but it's not very fast looking. Thats the main problem I have with it.
