Ok guys, here's where we get to decide on the face of our Pokemon. What will we see every time we log into shoddy and battle? You decide! Vote wisely folks!
There were six complete sets of sprites (Back and Front). Male and Female differences are few and can be easily added on with little effort so nothing was ommitted on that basis.

Haven't voted yet, but elevator music's back sprite has a left side cutoff and i think has to be fixed, and why is nasty pass's sprite a rip off of Elevator music's?

Okay, so I changed some of the colors on mine, and removed the sludge (he looked poison enough without it) to hopefully make it easier to differentiate mine from EM's.

Also, tennis, I don't intend to call it all my own. EM will still get credit for making the outline and some of the pallet.

I think EM has a fixed version out there, or if it wins he can easily fix it I'm sure.
 
I was torn between Wyverii and Doug. I prefer Wyverii's front sprite with the different hands in different forms and all, but Doug's backsprite is clearly the best one here, IMO, and his front sprite is also quite good.

So, uh, go go Doug.
 
Voted for Doug because the backsprite is amazing and I love the pose in the front sprite. The shiny version is coloured very well. Congrats Doug, and great job to the rest of you spriters!
 
Who the hell cares if it looks more Pokemon-ish? Just vote for the one you want our Pokemon to be represented by, quality is more important than the factor: "it looks more like a Pokemon"

You have no proof to back up that factor either, as Doug's looks just as much like a Pokemon
(This post isn't directed towards you, Kira, just everybody saying that.)
 
Err... I've been away so I couldn't really work on the sprite. I wasn't intending that to be my final submission. Oh well.

I'll fix the backsprite as soon as I get settled.

EDIT- Voting Wyverii. I almost never vote for myself, so that's out. It was a toss up between Wyverii and Doug for me, ubt Wyverii's style is just really captivating to me.
 
I'm quite hurt by Sikh Assassin's post. I was encouraged to make a sprite within a certain style and I didn't do it to have people complain about quality. Well that's an important lesson for me then. If you guys want complicated sprites I can do that, I just wish you told me. As for whether it actually looks more like Nintendo quality sprites, compare them side by side and tell me if you can really say that.

My post wasn't aimed at your sprite, I like your sprite to be honest. My post is aimed at people using "it looks more like a Pokemon" based off of no evidence or proof. You can say it look more like a Pokemon, but how are you going to prove it if you a do a side by side comparison. If you do, you'll notice Doug's share's the same qualities Wyverii's shares as well. This can be said about all the sprites actually. You have no proof to what looks like a Pokemon, as you have no handbook made by Nintendo or Game Freak. That is one major rule of this forum, and is to be avoided in a discussion.

One last thing before I drop this. If what you say is true then you can't say that quality is more important than style either since quality is judged from a person to person basis. In that light you can't complain about the reasoning of anybodies votes since it's purely judged to a person's taste and if people want it to conform to a standard they've made then they should be allowed to go ahead.

If I wanted to throw your reasoning back at you I could say that you have no proof of which sprite is of better quality or better pose, etc.
 
Voted DJD, it's going to win this poll easily, voted to give it 50% or higher.

If DJD gets 50% will it win the sprite poll immediatly? I don't see a reason for a second poll because a majority already support it.
