As I said in the discussion thread, Water seems to be the best option for a primary type.

Voting Water, Heatran, TTar, Fidgit, and Strata are weak to it as an offensive type, and as a defensive type it resists Scizors Bullet Punch, and Heatran's Fire Blast. Seems to check the top 10 pretty well.
