CAP Fan Content Thread

I was checking the CAP mons on the smogon dex and noticed some have 3d models while others only sprites, where should I go to submit 3d models for the missing pokemon?

Wrong thread to ask this in, but here:

The Obliteryx Armada set sail to the OU Team Up tour with a crew of Trick Or Dies, Ixkukul, Guingil, SDK03, Volsur and myself, wish us luck!

I might do my take on where the CAPs could be found in previous gens as well later.

Following my attempt to settle CAPs around for Gen IV, was gonna try my hand of setting locations for all CAP mons in Legends:Z-A... which in this case, I'm gonna take the cheaper route and state that most will be readily available to be found in any 3-5 star Hyperspace wild zones. boo

Most, you read right. The exceptions warrant their own Side Missions* before you can get them registered to your dex. So, here they are:

During the battle, Rogue Mega Evolved Crucibelle is able to constantly dodge and walk up to the player and a targetted Pokémon, and in addition to Rock Slide, Draining Kiss, Knock Off and Gunk Shot, she has two special attacks. The first takes the form of scattering several boulders about the arena; if she is above half HP, the boulders will explode, dealing Rock-type damage and leaving behind toxic spikes. If she is below half HP, she instead walks to the center of the arena, withdraws into her shell and glows cyan while the boulders become destructible. Should too little damage be dealt during this timeframe, she destroys all still-standing boulders and heals HP based on how many were left. If enough damage was dealt, she instead temporarily leaves the playable area and unleashes a Gunk Shot that consumes nearly the entire area, then immediately uses Head Smash on the player's current position, requiring dodge rolls to minimize damage. The player is partnered with Jacinthe and Lebanne for this battle, who will use their Mega Dimension rematch teams.

Gare de Lumiose
  • Complete Main Mission 042: "To Keep the World in Balance" & Side Mission 200: "Here In Lumiose City"
Calem/Serena and Korrina are your partners for this fight, the former matching the gender of your rival and using their Kiloude City rematch team with the Kalosian Starter weak against yours and replacing their eeveelution with the Kantonian starter strong against yours, and like the latter can Mega Evolve all of them immediately (using Charizardite Y if you chose Chikorita).
During the battle in Hyperspace Kalosian Battlegrounds, Dormant Forme Ramnarok is able to constantly dodge and walk up to the player and a targeted Pokémon, and in addition to Iron Head, Phantom Force, Knock Off and Dazzling Gleam, it can use a special attack that consists of it pivoting in place while firing a large, wide beam of fire directly at the player, sweeping the beam to follow them as they move. Any Pokémon caught in the beam will be afflicted with the Burn condition.

After Dormant Forme's HP is lowered to 0 for the first time, Ramnarok will pull a PLA-Giratina fake out, using Polar Flare to deal massive Fire-Type damage and freeze all active Pokémon as it transforms into Radiant Forme, completely recovering its HP. During this phase, Ramnarok will passively inflict Heal Block with all its attacks. In addition to Freeze-Dry, Phantom Force, Knock Off, Dazzling Gleam, Lava Plume and Detect, it has two special attacks. The first special move is the pivoting beam of fire it already used prior, which will now start targeted at the player's current location and catch up much faster. The second involves it summoning a special Aurora Veil that is only vulnerable to Fire-type moves while it glows white, blue and red. If the veil is not broken through in time, the player will inevitably be caught in a Blizzard hitting the entire area except the parts behind the veil. If it is above half HP, it follows this up immediately with repeated Lava Plume waves that damage and push back anything near it to the edges of the arena; it it is below half HP, it instead uses Phantom Force to leave the playable area before repeatedly appearing next to the player and strike them repeatedly with Blaze Kick or Triple Axel.

On a separate side-note, most people agree that Ramnarok is a Z-A CAP rather than a SV CAP. As Ram's movepool creator, I felt the right to establish that as well.
Moves in bold were part of Ram's movepool in SV, italics are repeating.

I made these around the time of the CAP 37 art polls (so, back in... april?), intending to make more of them, but fell short of my goal. I posted them on the discord server as I made them, but held off on posting them here on the off-chance that I'll pick it up again... but that ship has sailed by now.

the first model I made was for Yokaiju's design since I could kinda feel it in my bones that it was gonna win, but I think it's a little awkward when compared to the rest of the models, since it's just way too small. though, uh, my guy is also like WAAYYY too big, so...

also I made signature moves for the designs (alongside one I planned to do but never got to) in place of Beak Blast
