The CAP metagame consists of OU-legal Pokemon plus all CAP Pokemon. Find our forum here to join the creation process. Tournament Rules:
  • General tournament rules and regulations can be found here.
  • This is a standard USUM CAP tournament.
  • Best of three, single elimination.
  • Matches are to be played on Pokemon Showdown!. Smogtours server works fine too.
  • You don't necessarily have to post replays here, but they somehow have to get to me. PM me your replays through Smogon or Discord or post them in the thread and I will like the post to verify your victory.
  • Do not make baseless activity posts, get in contact with your opponent and report missed times / scheduling issues only.
  • Standard clauses apply.
  • All the usual Smogon rules regarding activity, timer, disconnection, and ghosting rules apply.
  • The banlist is standard OU, with CAP Pokemon allowed. You may use any amount of CAPs, from zero to six.
Standard Rules and Clauses:
  • Species Clause: A player cannot have two Pokemon with the same PokeDex number on his team.
  • Evasion Clause: The moves Double Team and Minimize are banned. (No other evasion boosting things are banned).
  • OHKO Clause: The moves Horn Drill, Guillotine, Sheer Cold, and Fissure are banned.
  • Endless Battle Clause: Anything capable of intentionally creating an endless battle is banned.
  • Moody Clause
  • Sleep Clause
  • Necturna Clause, meaning Necturna is only allowed to learn Sketch once for this tournament.

Go ahead and tell me that Pokemon is a good competitive game and that I had 2 good games. That either of us deserves to say "gg" after that.
I like you man, but I've been robbed and I'm upset. Please excuse my rudeness, I just need a bit of goddam catharsis cuz holy hecc. That was undoubtedly the worst series of matches in a competitive format that I've ever had. Certainly not befitting a quarterfinals, and certainly not befitting hyena and my skills as players. We both deserved better matches, but I won't lie, I'm upset because I deserved better matches.
Play your hardest in your coming matches, Hyena. But I am not wishing you nor anyone good luck like that ever again.

That's a fair reaction, man. I'd prefer that those matches hadn't gone like that either, because it meant that you didn't have a chance. You definitely deserved better. But I'll still tell you good game, because you played well and that's what the quality of the game should be judged on. I respect you a lot as a battler and teambuilder, so maybe we can work something out that would make you feel better about the situation. I'd be interested to hear Birkal's opinion on the matter.
