Thank you all for sticking around through the Challenge Cup Cup regular season! The playoff push came down to the wire for most teams, and every team ended the regular season at either 4-3 or 3-4! It doesn't get much closer than that! A big congrats to the teams moving into the playoffs, and a huge thank you to those eliminated!

General Tournament Rules
  • Scheduling: Attempt to contact your opponent by posting on their Smogon profile as soon as possible. It is strongly advised to schedule publicly there on Smogon so the host can make any necessary activity calls. If you cannot get in contact with your opponent, inform the host in this thread so we can make any necessary substitution. If you have made no visible contact, the host may substitute you out for another player.
  • Timer Clause and Disconnections: The timer is not required to be on during games; however, if the timer is on and a player runs out of time, their opponent wins the game via timeout. If a player disconnects and thus times out, this also counts as a loss for the player who disconnected.
  • Don't ghost

This almost starts resembling a randbats set. Amazing coverage which hits Flying, Bug, Psychic and Ghost, and even two Normal STAB options. Another braindead pick for which I do not have much to say.

Even though the G1 set was already good for cc1v1, every game I managed to get a set that was better than the one before. Outrage vs Guzzlord/Seedot/Linoone, Earth Power for Entei/Rhyhorn, and Rock Slide for Cutiefly. The 0 Atk EVs/IVs and sky-high SpA EVs/IVs meant that Zekrom had roughly the same Atk as SpA (210-ish vs 200-ish). You know your cc1v1 set is stupidly strong when STAB Thunderbolt on 200+ SpA is the move you're least likely to click.
