I'm glad this thread is out because I planned to share all the teams I used in the last month and didn't want them to get lost in the Metagame Discussion thread. Most of these are my own builds, with a couple (3 to be exact) being recreations from the Kickoff Tour. I'll obviously mention the player and replay I recreated them from. I will also be linking my Youtube videos alongside the teams. Do make sure to watch them if you like watching Pokemon content and subscribe if you enjoy it.

Alright, let me start with two of my sample teams up there. (Click on the sprites for team pastes.)

Mega Meganium Bulky Offense (Video)
:meganium-mega::samurott-hisui::corviknight::garchomp::ceruledge::slowking-galar:

This is my favorite and also the first team I built in this tier. It's pretty straightforward. Meganium and Samurott have great type synergy, being able to switch into and threaten each other's checks. Choice Scarf Flip Turn plays to that perfectly, and Spikes obviously help chip things down for Meganium to nuke. Corviknight, Garchomp, and Glowking form the best defensive core in the tier. Finally, Ceruledge patches up the team perfectly, being a spinblocker, priority user, and powerful sweeper.

Mega Glimmora Bulky Offense (Video)
:glimmora-mega::corviknight::garchomp::skeledirge::primarina::meowscarada:

This one is interesting because I was originally trying to use Mega Tyranitar with SD Garchomp, but realized Glimmora could easily replace Tyranitar and be way more oppressive. It's surprisingly easy to chip bulky things down with Mega Glimmora for Garchomp to clean up later. Kasib Berry Skeledirge is one of my best sets, completely shutting down the Poltergeist duo of Ceruledge and Aegislash. And together with Corviknight, they end up checking almost every physical attacker. Skeledirge also provides a much needed Mega Meganium check. Now, looking at the first four mons, the team obviously needed a Water resist, so in came Primarina. With Ttar, I was using a Choice Scarf Sneasler because it absorbs TSpikes, but since Glimmora checks that box, I chose Meowscarada as my Dark-type Scarfer. It doesn't have an overlapping type and completes the Fire/Water/Grass core.

Mega Delphox Bulky Offense (Video)
:delphox-mega::meowscarada::corviknight::garchomp::primarina::slowking-galar:

Delphox is among the best Megas in the tier, perhaps even the best. I used a Nasty Plot + Substitute set in the video, but since then I've realized that 3 Attacks + Substitute is far more threatening. It also used to be a Timid Delphox until I looked up the sample team up there and realized that Modest is very viable. There isn't a single Pokemon you need to outspeed above Garchomp and Mega Floette. Meowscarada, Greninja, and Sneasler are more often than not Choice Scarfed, so Modest made a lot of sense. I guess I just never really thought about it before LOL.

Anyway, the team is simple. Meowscarada is an amazing partner for any Fire-type Pokemon, always forcing Corviknight or any Steel-type in for them. Even more so for Delphox because Meow is able to switch in on Ghost moves from the likes of Ceruledge, Aegislash, and Dragapult. Corviknight, Garchomp, and Glowking are once again the tried and true defensive core, and this was the second team I built, so I didn't really wanna stray away from the best just yet. Finally, Primarina patched up the team perfectly by being a Water and Fairy type. Rest + Chesto is also a cool little tech that I feel like more people should use.

Mega Crabominable Trick Room (Video)
:crabominable-mega::hatterene::runerigus::azumarill::slowking-galar::kingambit:

The tier obviously lacks a ton of good Trick Room staples, but I was hell bent on making Crabominable work, so I started brainstorming for Trick Room setters alongside Hatterene. And I found Runerigus, which was a blessing bestowed upon this team because it, along with Trick Room, has the move Memento, which is perfect for bringing in a sweeper. (Stealth Rock was an added bonus.) The next obvious step was to find something that could take the fullest advantage of the setup opportunity Runerigus would create, so I brought in the old goat, everyone's favorite, Belly Drum Azumarill. I always like to have a balance of 3 setters and 3 sweepers on my Trick Room teams, and I needed a grounded Poison-type, so Glowking became the next addition. Since I couldn't have my only Meganium answer get 2HKO'd by Weather Ball, I invested in SpDef. Finally, I finished the team with Kingambit because does one even need a reason to use this mon?

This team is a lot of fun. You should definitely give it a try.

Mega Victreebel Balance (Video) [Recreation of TheWyvernKing's team in this Game]
:victreebel-mega::corviknight::hippowdon::hydreigon::primarina::dragapult:

Victreebel's whole shtick is to take a powerful Pokemon down along with it, and because of this trait, it ironically relieves a lot of stress from teambuilding. You can just throw Victreebel in front of anything your team can't check. I changed Greninja to Choice Scarf Hydreigon because it's much more powerful and has a Fire move to hit Corviknight and Kingambit with. Outside of that, I don't really have an explanation as to why the rest of the Pokemon were chosen (aside from the obvious things), but the team does work really well once you get the hang of it.

Mega Chandelure Bulky Offense (Video)
:chandelure-mega::meowscarada::corviknight::clefable::toxapex::garchomp:

Okay, I said this in my Viability Rankings post as well, but Mega Chandelure is a very underrated Pokemon. It's incredibly powerful, having the highest Special Attack stat in the tier, same as Mega Alakazam, but with a better typing and movepool. It's slow, but not that slow, outspeeding a lot of common Pokemon like Samurott, Excadrill, Rotom, Glimmora, Ceruledge, and Dragonite. On top of that, it has incredible bulk, which lets it survive a lot of things, especially super effective priority moves. You can often leverage its bulk against a strong Pokemon and take them down.

For the team, I once again used Meowscarada as a partner for pretty much the same reasons as with Mega Delphox. Next, I added Corviknight as the necessary Defogger and Kingambit check. Around this time, I was kinda annoyed by Dragonites and SD Garchomps in particular, so I wanted to use something to check those. Because of that, I decided I'd give Unaware Clefable a shot, and it worked out pretty well. It also checked the Stealth Rock box, which meant I could load up an offensive Garchomp. I gave it a Haban Berry because Charizard X, yikes. Finally, I slotted in Toxapex as a SpDef tank, and since Mega Delphox is a bitch, I gave it a Payapa Berry. Hit it with a Liquidation once, and even if Toxapex dies after that, at least you made sure Delphox dies to any other move it takes or Stealth Rock.

Mega Clefable Bulky Offense (Video)
:clefable-mega::arcanine-hisui::corviknight::hydreigon::toxapex::garchomp:

This one was a rough journey because it's far more annoying to make Mega Clefable work than it looks. It's an amazing Garchomp answer, sure, but it is also completely walled by Slowking and Toxapex and becomes setup fodder for Ceruledge, which is one of the most threatening sweepers in the tier. I tried making a Calm Mind set work, but in the end, I decided to play to Clefable's strength, which is being in control of hazards... for the most part. (Shout out to Excadrill and Glimmora.)

So, with the Clefable set worked out, I started looking for things that would appreciate Clefable keeping Rocks off the field. I brainstormed a ton of Pokemon like Ceruledge, Dragonite, and Volcarona, but eventually my eyes landed on this demon, Arcanine. Idk, maybe I was just subconsciously ignoring this thing since Garchomp completely shuts it down, but with Mega Clefable being able to completely shut Garchomp down instead (don't you dare run Stone Edge or Poison Jab), it seemed like the perfect chance to let the dog run wild. I gave it a Focus Sash after almost losing a game to an SD Scizor.

Next up was, without a doubt, Corviknight because we gotta keep those Rocks away at all costs. (Once again, shout out to Excadrill and Glimmora.) Next, I added SD Garchomp, who together with Arcanine beats the shit out of any defensive core. No Item Toxapex came next, being the ultimate Ceruledge and Aegislash answer. Finally, Hydreigon checked the Dark-type and speed control boxes.

Unfortunately, there isn't a clear answer to Delphox (I'm not sure if the tier even has one outside of Umbreon) or Meganium on this team. You just have to play around them with Toxapex, Hydreigon, and Arcanine.

Mega Scovillain Balance (Video) [Recreation of ChilliDewd's team in this Game]
:scovillain-mega::primarina::dragapult::sneasler::corviknight::garchomp:

To be honest, it was more like I stole the six Pokemon and made the team in my own style because I was already trying to make Scovillain work.

It's actually a pretty good team, and Scovillain is its star player. Since its ability burns anything that hits it with a move, the clear choice was to run a PhysDef set to be able to burn as many physical attackers as possible. Primarina is an amazing partner for Scovillain because of their type synergy, and burning everything makes Sub CM Primarina's life a little easier. Idk if ChilliDewd had the same idea, but I at least built it with the intention of letting Sub CM Primarina rip it, and because of that, I added a Scarf Sneasler with Switcheroo to bait Toxapex. Dragapult is also an incredible mon to pair with Scovillain, taking advantage of the burns with Hex. Finally comes the standard Defog + Stealth Rock core of Corviknight and Garchomp. Since the team had no Meganium or Delphox answers, I made Corv SpDef with an Occa Berry and also added Poison Jab on Chomp.

Mega Excadrill Sticky Web (Video) [WARNING: Use at your own risk]
:excadrill-mega::araquanid::glimmora::dragonite::kingambit::mimikyu:

Alright, so Excadrill is a very unfortunate soul. Despite having everything it needs to be an amazing Pokemon, it isn't because of one damn Pokemon: Corviknight. (Or two, if you count Skarmory.) It can't do a single thing as long as Corviknight is on the field, but I wanted to prove otherwise, so I devised a set to beat them Metal Birds up. SD + Rock Blast, with enough EVs to survive two Body Presses from a max Defense Corv.
The idea is to set up twice, once on the turn Corv comes out and again on the Body Press. Now you have two turns to use Rock Blast from a +4 Mega Excadrill and fish for as many hits as possible. Did it work? ABSOLUTELY NOT! Apparently, it's impossible to get 4 or 5 hits with this move. The text might be wrong. It's capped at 3.

Despite all that, I would have said the team is okay for a Sticky Web team until I faced an Iron Defense Corviknight, LMAO. You might wanna forfeit and go next when you see that set. I'll probably make a better version of this team at some point, but for now, only load this team if you want to have some dumb fun on the ladder. Obviously, if the opponent doesn't have Corviknight, then Excadrill goes god mode. I did change Rock Blast to Rock Slide because Rock Blast fucks with you by always getting 2 hits. At least Rock Slide gives a guaranteed 75 BP, and if we're lucky, it's gonna flinch a Corv or two.

The rest of the team is pretty straightforward. Araquanid for Webs, Glimmora for everything related to hazards, Dragonite for a Flying type and something that can possibly deal with Corv, opening the way for Excadrill. Kingambit because it's Kingambit, and finally Mimikyu, which is a spinblocker and a Fairy type. Disguise is very helpful against Clear Body Dragapults and Weak Armor Ceruledges.

Mega Emboar Bulky Offense (Video)
:emboar-mega::corviknight::samurott-hisui::garchomp::slowking-galar::dragapult:

Mega Emboar! I did flame this Pokemon a little too much in the video, which I'm inclined to take back. I feel like Emboar's only real issue is its Speed. If it was faster or had something like Dragon Dance, it would've been a force to be reckoned with.

Regardless, I wanted to use it, and I wanted to do it with Bulk Up, so I started cooking. I added Earthquake as the third move alongside its two STABs because, since Emboar has Mold Breaker, I might as well try to make the most of it by dealing with Rotom and Skeledirge. Samurott has good type synergy with Emboar, but I didn't wanna use the same Scarf variant, which is why I made it Encore + 3 Attacks at first, but later changed it to Swords Dance. I felt both these Pokemon could overwhelm the bulky Pokemon on any team, allowing some other fast Pokemon to clean up, and in this case, that ended up being Choice Scarf Dragapult. I quite like this set, ngl. Finally, came the same Corv, Chomp, and Glowking trio. I mean, it's too good to pass up. I gave Glowking a Kasib Berry to easily paralyze opposing Dragapult.

Mega Floette Hyper Offense (Video) [Recreation of Silent Waltz's team in this Game]
:floette-mega::glimmora::volcarona::dragonite::garchomp::kingambit:

Mega Floette is obviously broken. +1 Light of Ruin one shots even resistances. Things like Ceruledge and Glimmora don't even stand a chance. I don't have much else to say about this team because I haven't given it too much thought. I'll build a Mega Floette team of my own soon.

I guess the strategy is to use Psychic Volcarona to deal with SpDef answers like Toxapex and Glowking so that Floette can go in and vice versa. The team's performance was mixed because it did great in the video, but not so much when I tried using it again. The original might be way better because I did just slap on whatever sets felt good to me at the time without thinking too much about it. But if you're just looking for a clicker HO team, this definitely works.

I might make this a recurring thing for the near future because I plan on using every Mega Pokemon new or old at least once. Will probably try to lean towards Offense or Hyper Offense more rather than Bulky. Feel free to give me feedback if you end up using these or ask any questions if you want.

That's all for now. Enjoy the teams! Enjoy the videos!

Mega Feraligatr Web Hyper Offense

:feraligatr-mega::glimmora::araquanid::volcarona::kingambit::dragonite:
https://pokepast.es/055de87ca0a987ea

As a Feraligatr fan, I felt obligated to post a team built around Mega Feraligatr. This is a fairly standard Webs Hyper Offense team centered on creating setup opportunities for its sweepers.

Glimmora serves as the primary lead, using Focus Sash to reliably get hazards up early in the game. Araquanid is the team's Sticky Web setter and has great synergy with Glimmora, allowing the team to stack multiple forms of entry hazards and maintain offensive pressure from the start.

The rest of the team consists of four setup sweepers that can be chosen depending on the matchup. Mega Feraligatr is the main win condition, but it struggles against bulky Fairy-types such as Mega Meganium, Primarina, and Hatterene. To help with that, Volcarona acts as the team's lone special sweeper and gives the team another angle of attack against physically defensive structures.

Kingambit is invaluable as a stallbreaker and wallbreaker, helping overwhelm common defensive staples such as Glowking, Clefable, and non-Iron Defense Corviknight. Finally, Dragonite rounds out the team nicely, functioning as both a Dragon Dance sweeper and a revenge killer thanks to Extreme Speed.

One notable weakness of the team is its vulnerability to opposing hazards. Outside of Mortal Spin on Glimmora, there is no form of hazard removal, and Glimmora rarely has opportunities to use Mortal Spin when functioning as a dedicated lead. Because of this, the team is best played aggressively, constantly maintaining momentum and applying pressure before opposing hazards can become an issue.

I just got #1 on Champions OU ladder (Triceradattilo, 1750 ELO), so I chose to share it with everyone. This team is built around Swords Dance Mega Lopunny as the primary breaker, using Tyranitar for Stealth Rock support and special coverage, Corviknight for hazard control and pivoting, Skeledirge and Toxapex as the defensive backbone, and Choice Scarf Dragapult as speed control and a late-game cleaner.

Mega Greninja Semi-Stall
:gliscor::slowking-Galar::greninja-mega::Clefable::excadrill::rotom-heat:

With the lack of bulky teams in the sample teams, I wanted to build a fat team specifically one centered around Gliscor. Even without poison heal Gliscor is a great defensive pokemon, checking multiple top tier threats such as Garchomp, Sneasler, Ceruledge, Glimmora, Excadrill and even Kingambit and Aegislash to an extent. The EVs allow it to OHKO Excadrill after rocks while still maximizing physical bulk. What sets it apart from similar defensive grounds like Garchomp is its access to toxic, knock off, u turn and poison heal making it less safe for you opponent to click toxic, mortal spin, sludge bomb and other poison moves. Slowking Galar is a great teammate as another pivot and it and gliscor cover each others weaknesses well. Mega greninja is the main breaker of the team and synergies very well with slowking being able to fire off STAB blizzards and get a defense boost thanks to protean, it’s also the spikes setter. The rest of the team is rounded off with clef for a much needed dark resist and check to samu hisui and meowscarada, excadrill for removal and other useful resistances, and rotom heat for speed control and a way to hit corv.

The teams main flaw is the Samu-h matchup, but with scarf rotom-heat always outspeeding and being able to OHKO with tbolt, clef being able to eat hits from it, and passho berry exca the MU is manageable.

:grimmsnarl: :staraptor-mega: :ceruledge: :hatterene: :sneasler: :samurott-hisui:
Mega Staraptor Screens HO

With the introduction of a bunch of more competitively viable items, screens has become a lot better & controversial. Mega Staraptor fits super nicely as a really annoying pokemon to get rid off that has some good damage output. Attack is to two hit ko floette mega with even its modest moonblasts unable to two shot staraptor under screens with close combat special defense boosts. Grimmsnarl there as the setter with taunt to prevent hazards and the rest of the team is self explanatory with sneasler+hatt being able to wear down gholdengo for each other and black glasses samurott hisui as a strong absuer alongside LO ceruledge.

A little team dump for the start of the M-B meta.

:grimmsnarl::blaziken-mega::annihilape::gholdengo::dragonite::Glimmora:

Not much to be said just a HO abusing 2 of the broken fighting types added along with light clay and gholdengo to help with fairy weakness and block defog to maintain screens and hazards.

:Raichu-mega-x::rotom-wash::meowscarada::mamoswine::corviknight::Vaporeon:

A cool volt-turn team featuring Raichu X, washtom doesn’t get the 1.3x boost from electric terrain but still hits incredibly hard with the doubled power of rising voltage, nasty plot and magnet. Meow and Mamo help break grounds so that the two electric types can spam moves more freely. Corv and Vaporeon are a defensive backbone to the team and Vaporeon is especially nice to wish pass and keep Raichu X healthy after the chip it will take from volt tackle.

:dragalge-mega::Ceruledge::corviknight::garchomp::Clefable::meowscarada:

A Mega Dragalge bulky offense using mega dragalge as a spdef pivot to lure steels and pivot into ceru. Corv, chomp and clef is a nice defensive core to stack/remove hazards and spread para for extra speed control. Meow is here for the main speed control for the team and a answer to ghosts.

Hazard Stack Offense (peaked #1, 1727)
:hatterene::garchomp::samurott-hisui::gholdengo::lopunny-mega::dragonite:
https://pokepast.es/a56f980cb970adf6

A simple hazard stack offense. Sash Hamurott guarantees Spikes 85% of the time and Scarf Gholdengo prevents Defog and Spin. Mixed LO Garchomp with Rocks keeps pressure up and sets rocks up while outspeeding and KOing Excadrill. Hatterene prevents hazards and can take a few hits, and hitting Excadrill on the switch with Mystical Fire can easily win you games. Adamant double priority Mega Lopunny and Dragonite to clean up.

Just curious, what does Aerial Ace on Hamurott hit? Also amazing team

Just curious, what does Aerial Ace on Hamurott hit? Also amazing team
thanks! Aerial Ace hits various Fightings and Grasses when the damage is worth more than the extra layer of Spikes. Originally, it was mostly for Quaquaval, but again, whenever you need that extra damage on super effective targets (Fightings and Grasses mostly) that think they're safe, it can come in handy. Hamurott only really needs to click Ceaseless and Sucker in 90% of games.

:Raichu-mega-x::rotom-wash::meowscarada::mamoswine::corviknight::Vaporeon:

This is a neat team, some fun pieces to it. I'd love to see this Raichu-X set added to the Smogon Dex (and, maybe more importantly, add the X and Y megas to the Dex while we're at it, because currently only base and alolan forms are listed lol)

Hazard Stack Offense (peaked #1, 1727)
:hatterene::garchomp::samurott-hisui::gholdengo::lopunny-mega::dragonite:
https://pokepast.es/a56f980cb970adf6

A simple hazard stack offense. Sash Hamurott guarantees Spikes 85% of the time and Scarf Gholdengo prevents Defog and Spin. Mixed LO Garchomp with Rocks keeps pressure up and sets rocks up while outspeeding and KOing Excadrill. Hatterene prevents hazards and can take a few hits, and hitting Excadrill on the switch with Mystical Fire can easily win you games. Adamant double priority Mega Lopunny and Dragonite to clean up.

I've been spamming the hell out of this on ladder and as long as I don't choke (frequent) it's performs exceptionally, made it into the 1600s without much issue. I'm running a variation of the older team with SBall/MIR/Recover/Trick Ghold, SD > Ace on Hamu, plus Silk Scarf on DNite for extra punch with ESpeed. Specific sets don't seem to matter too much imo, this combination of six works so perfectly with one other. Fantastic team and I highly recommend people abuse it until the council does something about Gholdengo.

I finally managed to make a viable stall team in this current meta. The meta is super volatile and there's still super strong mons that will make your life hell. But I found these mons can best take advantage of current top mons in the meta and give you a good chance into a lot of matchups.
Here's the paste: https://pokepast.es/5d0e181bcda05a33

First off, we have :Gliscor:-

This mon is the backbone of the team. I think if you're building stall you need this because the utility it provides is astounding. It was the inspiration for this team, as I was trying to find ways to utilize it which was especially hard since it no longer has taunt. What I managed to come up with was a gliscor that beats super common rockers and anti-hazard mons.
It sets spikes quite easily and limits anti-hazard options to defog and rapid spin. Glimmora cannot mortal spin on this gliscor because if it does you unleash 18% healing on this mon for every subsequent turn of the battle. It also baits hatt(and mega clef) to stop you from spiking, which allows you to activate yourself. Also an excellent switch in to Sneasler who cannot hit it for good damage at all and risks setting off its poison heal on certain poison touch sets. It doesn't happen every battle but it happens enough that gliscor becomes a major problem for your opponents. Earthquake for STAB and ice fang to hit chomps and flying types like mega clef or dragonite, and with wish support from umbreon can stick around for a long time with just lefties and no protect.

Next is :Clefable:-

Standard unaware clefable. Twave things that umbreon or gliscor cannot poison. Set rocks, heal with moonlight, beat sweeping/breaking sets of things like hamm, chomp, dnite, etc. Not much else to say on it. Clef is a stall standard in every metagame. Twave could be knock off for things like lefties corv which can be annoying when paired with gking, but yellow magic is still yellow magic even with half the odds.

Then :Toxapex:-

The weakest member of the squad in terms of making progress. But it terms of stopping the opponents progress there's hardly a better mon. Light screen pex is common on certain stalls to help with some matchups. For this one, it helps into Arch rain, but archaludon is this team's worse matchup and more often than not, light screen just stalls the inevitable. Still, nothing is 100% lost and I have beaten some mediocrely played arches.
Otherwise, poison jab just helps into certain mons like calm mind prima and hatt, who's psychic noises and fairy moves annoy the entire team. It is mostly spdef to help into these match ups but still has some defense because swords dancing and dragon dancing sweepers are very prevalent and can overwhelm clef.
It is itemless to help into Poltergeist spam, able to remove boosts with Haze from Ceruledge and Aegislash, before switching into a more favourable match up.

Now :Corviknight:-

Corv is the best defogger in the meta hands down. So it's really a no brainer. The speed EVs are to outspeed Adamant max speed gambit, who will cleave through your team late game if you don't get the jump on it. Kowtow will kill you, but sucker is a range that's super favourable to you coming in at 88% from rocks(+2 32+ Atk Supreme Overlord 5 allies fainted Kingambit Sucker Punch vs. 32 HP / 18+ Def Corviknight: 154-183 (75.1 - 89.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO) and although you don't KO back with press if it's at full health as it does 78% minimum, you easily put it in range for body slam from Mega Altaria which resists sucker and is faster.
Iron head is to help the hatterene match up. Occa berry helps it take a +1 mystical fire better. Iron head has been used in some games to cheese slower mons with the help of Clefable's yellow magic.
Please remember to use your own corv to pressure stall your opponent's defogs, so you don't end up in a needless 200 turn battle like I did.

Big Man :Altaria_Mega:-

After you're done sucking the life out of your opponent, you can pace Maltaria to win. EVs were vibed but the 4 speed is important to outspeed excadrill after a +1 boost, so you can cotton guard on the next turn. I made it spdef because you're boosting your defense to sweep so having some special bulk is very nice. Some people would prefer earthquake over cotton guard and I say go for it if you feel the need for the coverage. I simply preferred to work my ass off to position it against glowking and pex to win but some people would prefer to +1 eq them and be done.

And finally :Umbreon:-

With all the stall teams I've tried to test this mon seems to make it on every team. It's just so good at what it does. Passes wishes to teammates, toxics what it needs to, synchronizes status, absorbs ghost moves, presses foul play. Though I do have to say that it is the mon that comes out the least, but I doubt you'll find a mon to replace what it does for you.
Also, if Hatt and Prima(using psychic type psychic noise) are really giving you trouble, you have the ability to toxic both of them, hatt because of synchronize. Then with wish passing to unware clef you can easily neuter them.

I will also leave you guys with replays:

200 turn game. Please take my corviknight advice. Turn 158 is where something actually happens.

:Samurott-Hisui: :Corviknight: :Skeledirge: :Dragalge: :Hippowdon: :Hydreigon:
Didn't want to upload this team TOO soon because I figured there is a lot of room for improvements here, but I am lazy at this tier so whatever.

I was liking this team even during Ghold meta, but shit becomes pretty freelo after. Dragalge Mega is pretty cancer - Flip Turn + pre nerf Pex movepool on a regen mon is very overpowered and lets you bring in broken Samu-H for free on many of its switch-ins like Gking. Monkey brain Ceaseless edge becomes a free click after & if they bring in Corv, you can encore it into defog & force them out. Encore is good vs greedy setup sweepers as well. The EV spread here is good against Mega Delphox - lets you tank a dazzling Gleam - while still hitting hard. ID + BP Corv is here as brainless wincon + SD chomp check- which i found extremely difficult to deal with the crappy U-turn Brave Bird set. Very easy to set up positions where Corv can just auto win based off of Hazard pressure against its key checks. Defog is mostly a bonus - i find myself rarely clicking it though as getting rid of my own hazard pressure sucks, but it is nice vs Chomp who is annoying as FUCK for this team. I use to have Aegislash as my Ghost & it was pretty great, but I found that running it made the team a bit too weak to Blaziken so I swapped to Dirge. He is nice to take off heat from draglage to check Fires & is annoying for enemy Corvs with Wisp + Hex Pressure. Hippowdon is quite good as rocker & is annoying for most weather teams to handle. Hydreigon is the Pokemon I am iffiest on, but it is a pretty strong speed control option & wincon as well. Provides important defensive utility & being immune to enemy webs is nice. He is quite useful for his ability to OHKO Garchomp as well.

Key threats: Annilape, Primarina, Greninja, Meowscarada, Mega Barbaracle, Mixed LO Garchomp, Taunt Pokemon.

Improvements- I think Hydreigon could be swapped to different speed control option, Clefable could be slotted in somewhere as well to help in various MUs. Hippo could maybe have a more mixed spread. Dragalge moveset could possibly be changed as well - i am not sure what optimal spread on it is.

Moral of the Story: Hazard stack is fine when brainless balance does it.

Modest Mega Floette + Adamant Hisuian Samurott Bulky Offense - (Peaked #1 on Ladder)

Proof of Peak:

Paste:
:sv/[Floette-Mega]:-:sv/[Rotom-Wash]:-:sv/[Samurott-Hisui]:-:sv/[Slowking-Galar]:-:sv/[Garchomp]:-:sv/[Corviknight]:

Mega-Floette - Modest Floette vaporizes most of the tier. Gking, Pex, and Dirge are really the only pokemon that can switch in repeatedly, and all get worn down by hazards and the other mons on this team. Typing and natural special bulk lets you switch in more aggresively than other more frail attackers. Calm Mind helps with really bulky teams packing more than one resist. Light of Ruin allows you to pick up 2HKO's where moonblast falls short, provided you don't miss or mind the recoil.

Samurott-Hisui - By far the best spikes setter and in general one of the best mons in the tier. Adamant black glasses allows you to muscle past bulkier teams, while still acting as a good revenge killer with the second strongest sucker punch in the tier. Encore allows you to punish defog, healing moves, and bulky setup mons like gambit and annihilape. A scarf set can be run instead for better consistency against more offensive teams. SD can also work but I never felt it was better than encore, or even a scarf set.

Rotom-Wash - Rotom serves 2 main purposes: it's the main water resist, and is needed to chip slowking-g for Floette. Burn + Volt Switch + Hazards puts a ton of pressure on Gking, allowing you to eventually threaten the kill. Most bulky teams crumble after Gking goes down. Sitrus berry lets Rotom serve as a decent check to the poltergeist spammers in the tier, while also serving as supplementary healing to pain split.

Garchomp - Pretty standard protect + lefties physdef set. Switches in to many of the physical attackers in this tier and set rocks. Lefties and protect gives Garchomp extra longevity that a resist berry or sitrus can't match. Nothing special, just the old reliable tankchomp we've come to know and love.

Corviknight - Hazard removal and tertiary physical wall for the team. In my testing I've found that occa berry comes in handy much more than wacan. Allows Corv to easily tank fire coverage from Dnite and Chomp and hit back with bb or u-turn out. Also helps against Volc, Ceru, and Mega-Meganium. Mirror armor comes in clutch against special attacks that drop spdef or sp. atk, but pressure might be better.

Slowking-Galar - Team's main special wall. Toxic helps prevent Gking from becoming setup bait, but you need to watch out for sub. This set has the most flexibility on the team. Shuca, Colbur, and Kasib have all worked well for me, althrough the former two are a little more consistent in the value they provide. Right now I have flamethrower as the coverage move, but you can mix and match depending on what you like. Future sight honestly feels like overkill as this team doesn't really struggle against bulky teams.

:delphox-mega:
Mega Delphox:
Delphox absolutely demolishes the most common defensive cores of the tier. The combination of Psyshock, Flamethrower/Fire Blast and Dazzling Gleam allow Mega Delphox to 2 hit KO or 1 hit KO practically every single pokemon available with minimal prediction. Even :Slowking-Galar: is quite reliably 2hkod by psyshock. Delphox also has a blazingly fast speed tier, reliably outspeeding Raichu-Y, Non-scarfed Meowscarada, Sneasler, Weavile, Mega Metagross and Mega Starraptor (who are both cleanly 1hKO'd), Garchomp, and even Adamant Blaziken at +1, meaning it can very easily dismantle teams that (very possibly) don't have anything to outspeed it. Nasty plot allows you to turn any 2hko into clean 1-taps, so some Pokemon that may have been able to threaten it before at full health (:primarina: :rotom-wash: :Garchomp: :slowking-galar: :hippowdon: :swampert: :Pelipper: :Ceruledge: :toxapex:) now cannot, allowing Delphox to cut down on the amount of prediction needed to claim kills. Your primary threats as Delphox are :meowscarada: (who is often scarf), :Samurott-Hisui: (with scarf or sucker punch), :Dragapult:, :Hydreigon: (scarfed or sub), :Kingambit:, :Aegislash:, :Tyranitar:, :mawile-mega:, :pelipper: + :swampert:, and most of all, STEALTH ROCKS.
Mega Delphox is easily revenge killed by many common scarfers, but given perfect prediction, Delphox can force a kill every time it comes out. Since you A: won't have perfect prediction, B: need a way to switch in to common dark types and water types, and C: need a way to remove stealth rocks against common setters, the perfect partner for :delphox-mega: in COU is:

:decidueye-hisui:
Hisuian Decidueye:
With a Max/Max Defensive spread, Hisuian Decidueye absolutely hard-counters (most) :Samurott-Hisui: sets, who is by far the most common and scariest counter to your :delphox-mega:. With a Grass/Fighting typing, you are able to switch into and threaten many of :delphox-mega:'s counters and slow pivot out into :Delphox-mega: to force another kill. With access to Roost, Defog and Scrappy, you also happen to be able to deal with the other two non-dark type problems for :delphox-mega:, ghost types and stealth rocks. In spite of his PU standing in Generation 9 and his absolutely underwhelming statline, Hisuian Decidueye is somehow a genuinely incredible pick and has been such a high performer even in some of the hardest games I had while laddering. Here are some of the pokemon Decidueye has managed to absolutely 1v1:
:kingambit: :samurott-hisui: :excadrill: :garchomp: :garchomp-mega: :swampert-mega: :aegislash: :meowscarada: :houndstone: :dragapult: :rotom-wash: :basculegion: :raichu-mega-Y: :eelektross-mega: :lopunny-mega: :scizor: :quaquaval:

:samurott-hisui:
Hisuian Samurott:
Adamant Black Glasses Hisuian Samurott is so good it might be bannable. Swords Dance boosts your power to unholy levels, and Ceaseless Edge lets you lay down free spikes on top of killing whatever you're trying to kill. I'm not going to spend too much time talking about the Unholy Otter, you all know what it does, but I have grown to enjoy bulky SD as one of its most powerful sets. It is very good as a partner to :delphox-mega:, as it has a tendency to solo-win the rain matchup and both softens-up for Delphox and enjoys sweeping teams softened-up by Delphox. Black Glasses Sucker Punch helps pick off or outright kill speedy threats, which is a big boon for the team. 10 Spe invest is to speed-creep anything speed-creeping rotoms.

:dragonite:
Dragonite:
Though much less common than in SVOU, Fat DD Dragonite remains an extremely strong "anti-bullshit" pick for Bulky Offense. Espeed Earthquake Roost DD with enough speed to outspeed Pult at +2. Easy Money. Acts as both a defensive piece and a late game sweeper once corv is weakened or killed by :delphox-mega: or :Samurott-Hisui:. Leftovers lets you heal off some the oft unavoidable Stealth Rock damage without having to waste roosts in long games. If :samurott-hisui: can't handle the rain matchup alone, Dragonite and Samurott can overwhelm their checks together.

:clefable:
Clefable:
The defensive glue for the team, as well as the mandatory fairy type. Was initially a :hatterene: in the first draft of the team, but the consistent healing of soft-boiled Moonlight, access to rocks, and a better matchup into :annihilape: and :dragapult: made Clefable a much better pick. Magic Guard Life Orb Clef lets you fire off extremely powerful Moonblasts and Flamethrowers on top of being able to switch in on the ever-present hazards that would make Unaware Clefable cry, making it a very reliable wall against anything that might get too out of control for the previous 4 to handle. :Dragapult: in particular can be tough for the team to handle without Clefable.

:Excadrill:
Excadrill:
The mandatory Ground type and Steel type. Scarf Drill was the only logical choice once the other 5 were picked, and mold breaker Earthquake is a very scary cleaner against weakened teams. Offers a second form of removal in case :decidueye-hisui: needs to stay healthy or can't get the fog off. Mold Breaker Stealth Rock may also be a life-saver against Hatterene Rain, or if Clefable can't come out until later. Drill helps against :clefable: :Floette-mega: :hatterene: and :Grimmsnarl:, that can all be very very scary to deal with if Delphox is too low.

Try it out!

(Not A Reliable List Of Things It Can Check)

Try it out!

Notice that the only person that laughed at your post was OceanicGamer. This is because he was laughing at being too low of an elo to face this team. Nice work!
