Christmas 2009

I got some money, underwear, Jack Daniels, a Jack Daniels glass with stirrer, A Pokémon Card Theme Deck, a Grotle plushy, aftershave, deodorant, shower gel, hair straighteners, New Super Mario Bros. Wii, and a few other little bits.
 
I didn't get much for Christmas, but I got a Dell Inspiron 1545 laptop. That's all I really could have asked for this year!
 
i got a snooker table.
got to be the most badly thought through present ever, as its not like anyone in the family's ever played snooker, or have a big enough room for it.
i've already nailed my sister in the eye with a back swinging cue.
 
I got so spoiled this year.. Mostly from my girlfriend.

I just have to say that seriously, Banjo-Kazooie was my FAVORITE game on the N64 hahaa That's awesome!!!

Well, my Christmas was pretty lame... Didn't get too much, but the worst part is that my dog is almost dead =( We've had him for 14 years and he just got unexpectedly sick/etc on Christmas Eve... He's still hanging on but it's just soooo sad. Won't eat, can barely walk.. *sigh*
 
I got a spear. What can I say, my African relatives are cool. My parents didn't get me anything, again. Oh well we had fun.

im tempted to buy a treadmill to help work off the inevitable weight gain from all the treats. its too cold to exercise outside, not to mention the fact that our village is covered in snow.

I'd suggest something different to a treadmill. Come the summer you can run outside anyway. Maybe a rowing machine if you know how to use one, or a weight set.

The real gift I got this year was watching my little brother's face light up when he opened up my old iPod, already set up with all his favorite songs. The true meaning of Christmas is giving, right?

After presents my family went to church and then spent the next two hours cleaning the house and preparing dinner. Delicious. The remainder of the evening was spent visiting with relatives who I only see once a year (might be too often at that) and playing SSBB with my brother and cousin. Now I'm just waiting for everyone to leave (and watching the Lakers get whooped).

I just read this and thought it was pretty interesting - I did the same thing. My gf got me an ipod from a thriftshop for really cheap, but it has way more memory and is the same model as mine, so I gave my old one to my brother because he's had two of his stolen and was ipod-less. Heh.
 
I got a Macbook pro 13in, a PS3, MW2, and 50$. Mom and Dad got me the mac, grandpa gave me the PS3, and I got MW2 and 50 bucks from friends. Oh, and an Xbox one year live card.
 
I got cash, 3 new xbox games, and an electric guitar. Playing modern warfare 2 with my three cousins from 7 at night till 5 in the morning was fun as hell.
 
I got a beautiful pirate coat, the only thing I really wanted for Christmas. I also got a DSi, a bunch of clothing, a Gamestop gift card, and Scribblenauts.
 
I didn't get very much material wise. Hmmm. My one uncle's family gave me this mug that is supposed to make slushies for you? This really interests me as I'm going to try and make all sorts of random slushies now, hahaha. He also stuck a $20 in there. Ummmm, my aunt got me a very long/nice picture frame, I just need some pictures to put into it. My mother bought me SCRABBLE diamond deluxe version, and Othello. My little brother got me that like, marker set where the markers only need water? I asked for it, hahhaa. I also got like, a Vanilla-scented bathroom set package thing (you have to know what I'm talking about) from my step dad's family, it was like a secret santa thing only I was only on the receiving end.

Ummmmm, other than that, my boyfriend bought me A SNUGGIE and a blue DSi that I have named Oliver, and collectively I've earned about $1,200. ;3

edit: I kind of regret not asking for something specific from my grandmother, since a few years ago she actually obliged and bought me like 6 boxes of Fruit by the Foot. I was VERY pleased. Oh, and my step mom bought me a New Moon calendar, hahahaha. Oh, and very cute pajamas from Aerie.

i got some books and a few records; i did not really buy alec a gun.
 
Xmas morning this year was kind of hollow because everyone pretty much knew what they were getting, but the usual meeting of family and such was good. Anyways this is what I got, new zelda for the ds, Uncharted 1&2, ps3 controller, a snuggie(can't escape these fuckers, almost everyone got one), two jackets, some money, a bucket of cookies, and a 50% Barnes and Nobles gift card. Not as good as last year, but I'm not complaining.
